Chapter 944: Dengling Mountain Road

Chapter 944: Dengling Mountain Road

There was news from India, and several old monks took it very seriously. The 190-year-old monk Simoti set out and made an appointment with two old friends to come with him.

Two days later, accompanied by four masters and the ancient Sanskrit authority, Simoti and two other old monks came to City B to meet Ye Fan.

Even though medicine has made great progress, it is still a miracle for ordinary people that an old monk can live to be more than 190 years old.

Simoti is in good spirits. Although he is very old, he still walks as fast as flying. His body is very strong and his words sound like a bell ringing with a metallic vibrato.

The same was true for the two old men walking alongside him. They looked similar in age at first glance. They were tall, with yellow skin, skinny, and had sunken eye sockets, but they were full of energy.

They put their hands together and saluted Ye Fan with peaceful expressions. These three people have spanned three centuries and have experienced all kinds of worldly affairs. They can be called eminent monks.

Ye Fan returned the gift and nodded secretly. The three of them, Ximoti, are all extraordinary. They have entered the secret realm of the Taoist Palace, and it is natural for their lifespan to be extended.

On the other side of the starry sky, if you enter the secret realm of the Dao Palace at this age, it is really not worth mentioning, and you can barely be considered a monk.

However, the earth is in the Age of Ending Dharma, and it is really not easy to achieve such a level of cultivation. It can be said that these three people are already geniuses.

Ye Fan asked them to sit down, and with a casual stroke of his right hand, several teacups soaked in elixir appeared out of thin air, which immediately surprised the three old monks.

Since meeting this young man, they knew that they had met a person with great supernatural powers, and his cultivation level was probably comparable to that of the ancient leader.

Whether it was the three old monks, the four masters, or the ancient Sanskrit authority, their faces were full of surprise after receiving the elixir tea.

"The world has changed. In today's era, it is unusual to still have such treasures. This kind of hospitality is too much, and some of us cannot bear it."

They were all in harmony and expressed their gratitude sincerely. This kind of elixir was the only one I had ever seen in my life.

Ye Fan had many things to ask, so he got straight to the point. He immediately mentioned whether there were ancient religions on earth today and where they were. He wanted to know about the world of cultivation.

"In ancient times, there were many great sects, ancient sects and sects, with many powerful people and many with great supernatural powers. But now everything has changed." Ximoti said.

In ancient India, Buddhism once flourished, replacing Brahmanism, with many followers and ancient temples, but it eventually declined.

Today's Hinduism is derived from Vedicism and Brahmanism. It is like reincarnation and has replaced Buddhism. Of course, the various religions merge with each other and all dharma coexist, and they seem to be symbiotically integrated into one body.

Symati said that in ancient times, if we did not talk about faith and just talked about magical powers, there were many sects. Among them, Vedicism had a profound influence and was the predecessor of Brahmanism. Before Sakyamuni became a monk, he also practiced Brahmanism.

The Vedas has run through the rise and fall of several religions, from Vedicism to Brahmanism, and then to Buddhism, completing a cycle of reincarnation, and now the Vedas are revered again.

Simoti talked a lot about ancient Taoism, saying that there were really many inheritances at that time, just like flowers blooming, competing for beauty, and strong people standing in large numbers.

Later, everything came to nothing, and the monastery where he lived happened to experience a catastrophe, losing most of its teachings, being completely marginalized, and losing contact with the previous sects.

In today's era, even he doesn't know if the sects still exist. He only knows a few people who know how to practice. But he feels that the sects should still be there, but because we are in the Age of Ending Dharma, they have all disappeared and are not known by others.

.

Ye Fan was a little interested in the "Vedas", and after borrowing it from him, he knew that it was definitely not the teachings in the eyes of ordinary people today, and that it must have a secret chapter on practice.

"What do you know about Middle-earth, such as Taoism, the emergence of demons from Middle-earth, the blood of ancient demons and gods, etc." To be honest, he didn't have much interest in ancient India. He wanted to know more about ancient China. Each teaches.

Simoti looked solemn and said: "The depth of China is unfathomable, and we don't understand it very well."

He has a sincere respect for the Middle-earth, but he doesn't know much about Taoism. He has never met anyone from that religion. He said that demons appeared in the Middle-earth because he heard it from his ancestors, so it is not a clear explanation.

His only personal experience was that he saw a demon-god-like existence, which made him tremble. He glanced at it from afar, did not dare to approach, and quickly retreated.

"Where did you see it?"

Ximoti mentioned a place name, and Ye Fan looked strange. It turned out to be a battlefield back then, and he didn't know how many people died there.

During World War II, Simoti traveled east as an ascetic and saw a bloody light penetrating through the sky on a battlefield. It was extremely terrifying, and then it was as majestic as the ocean.

"This demon really knows how to choose the right moment." Ye Fan said to himself.

In the past years, I don't know how many heroic souls have passed away. The whole land was full of blood and gloom. In this era of law-ending, it may be a rare opportunity for the great demon to advance to the next level, forged with blood and spirit.

"Did he take action?" Ye Fan asked.

"No, practitioners are not allowed to interfere in human affairs. This is a rule set in ancient times. It is respected by the whole world and passed down from generation to generation. No one dares to violate it," said Simoti.

Ye Fan nodded and said nothing, but in his heart he was thinking about how powerful that demon god was.

Judging from Ximoti's perspective at the time, it was impossible to misunderstand him. His blood was overwhelming and his power was astonishing. At the very least, he was a leader-level figure.

"It's very unusual. In this era of Dharma ending, there is such an ancient demon. It's really unexpected. I don't know where it is now." Ye Fan said to himself.

"Is this clan related to the fake Pang Bo?" He suddenly had such an association.

According to Simoti, the water in Middle-earth is very deep, and that demon god is just an example. He has also heard from senior monks that he encountered another terrifying existence, but he didn't know it clearly.

Finally, they set off on the road, taking the small stone Buddha to the Tibetan area, hoping to open a road to Lingshan Mountain.

Buddhism has declined in India, but it has flourished in China. In the past, a sitting Bodhisattva left his last words, and Lingshan will be moved eastward. According to the speculations of several Arhats of later generations, it should be in Tibetan area.

Lingshan is the original Taoist temple of Buddhism. It existed long before Sakyamuni unified the sect. At that time, the monks practiced physical practice and developed great supernatural powers.

Before Sakyamuni established his religion, monks were scattered on the earth. Lingshan was the only place that could summon them. It was a mysterious ancient place.

"It's a pity that after the last Bodhisattva and the ancient Buddha passed away, no one can open the way to Lingshan from outside."

Simoti said that this small stone Buddha may be a key sacred object. It may be able to solve the eternal mystery and discover that there may be living beings in the original ashram!

Ye Fan did not take Xiaosong with him, but only temporarily took the small stone Buddha. The ancient dojo Lingshan Mountain was no less than Mount Sumeru, and there might be terrible dangers. He did not want the simple little guy to take risks together.

The group of people walked in the uninhabited land, it was peaceful, the sky was blue, with occasional clouds, and white and flawless, both the air and the scenery were pure.

Perhaps, this is the only pure land, but now there are human footprints everywhere, with tall buildings and reinforced concrete covering up the fragrance of flowers and plants, and a lack of original and natural scenery.

Ye Fan held the small stone Buddha in his hand and blessed it with great magic power, causing it to burst into immeasurable light. Finally, several ancient characters in his body were manifested, and he himself was filled with golden blood.

These people were all trembling and in awe. Such great supernatural beings would almost never appear in the world again, but now they saw it with their own eyes.

Simoti and other three old monks said some Buddhist secrets and told Ye Fan that it was left by the old man, and perhaps he could use this to find Lingshan.

Ye Fan walked all the way, and according to what they said, he recited the mantra silently, and the little stone Buddha became more and more dazzling. The divine ring behind his head was completely materialized, and the bullets on it made a sonorous sound, and a pair of Buddha eyes seemed to be opening.

"The world is a little different. Look, some big mountains suddenly appeared in front of you." A master was surprised.

This is a very strange sight. Many large mountains appear on the horizon. They are extremely tall and tower into the sky. They are so majestic that people can't breathe.

However, each one is very blurry and cannot be seen clearly, with a kind of mistiness, standing majestically at the end of the world.

"A road appeared, but it was intermittent..." Another master was moved and pointed ahead.

This is an ancient road that has never been seen before, but now it suddenly appears, leading to the depths of the distant Dayue.

"This is... the road leading to Lingshan!" Simoti was trembling all over, which was very inconsistent with the appearance of a successful monk, because he was too excited.

While Ye Fan was blessing the small stone Buddha with great power, he recited those mantras. There was a vast power of Buddha coming from the distance. The kind of fluctuation made people want to worship it, which transcended everything.

"It's really Lingshan!" Ye Fan's eyes were shining brightly, which was the same as the instant feeling he had when he entered Tibet not long ago, but this time it was extremely lasting.

An ancient road winds its way, and a group of them set foot on this road, moving forward step by step. It is very mysterious. There are many ancient monuments on the roadside, and it does not look like the real world at all.

The mountains in the distance are too majestic. I don’t know which area is hidden in the real world. Ye Fan didn’t find it the last time he crossed the Tibetan area. Now it feels so oppressive.

"Ah, there is a corpse ahead!" A master walked over quickly.

This road is very old, as if no one has walked it since ancient times. The rocks are carved with the wind and frost of the years. An old monk is skinny and yellow, lying in front of him, lifeless.

What they saw was not an illusion. This was a real corpse. The tentacles were cold and the monk's robes were very old. They turned to ashes with a gentle touch.

"He has been dead for at least hundreds of years." A master said.

There is a line of ancient characters carved on the rock in front of him, like his last words, written in ancient Sanskrit in a hurry.

After looking at it carefully, Simoti said to the general idea that this was an eminent monk who had attained enlightenment. He devoted himself to the Buddha, but could not see the spiritual mountain. Before he sat down for transformation, the light of wisdom appeared in his heart. He had been doing asceticism all the way to find this place. He saw the ancient road, but his life span had dried up. .

They did not delay and continued on the road. Ye Fan blessed the small stone Buddha and kept chanting mantras silently. The ancient road was extended and passed through huge mountains that could not be seen in the world.

"A ruined palace!"

Not long after, they saw an ancient temple. It was not large in scale, with only a stone hall, and an old monk sitting in it. He also left his last words, the road to Xunling Mountain ended here, and the road ahead was vast, and there was no hope.

"This is a person with great supernatural powers. His skin has a touch of light gold, and he almost achieved Arhat status." Several masters clasped their hands together and chanted to Sakyamuni Buddha.

Ye Fan stopped and saw that the ancient road ahead was getting farther and farther, as if it was never-ending and he didn't know where it would lead. Is this still on the earth? He thought in his mind.

The waves of Buddha nature were surging like the ocean, and it was vast and boundless. Is the spiritual mountain comparable to Mount Sumeru really in front? He didn't know if he could enter that ancient dojo.

In the distance, the sun is shining brightly and the auspicious energy is steaming. There are three ancient characters rising and falling: Please support, it is the middle of the month, and the second *** may be available, calling for the support of all the great emperors.
