Fourteen, calligraphy battle

When Chen Caozhi left the courtyard, Run'er asked timidly from behind: "Uncle Chou, are you coming back to find your mother?"

Zongzhi and Run'er have been extremely silent since Ding Youwei went out with the Wu family. Xiaochan and Qingzhi, who don't know the hidden secret, still don't laugh no matter how they tease them. The two children lost their parents when they were young, and they are dependent on their grandmother and uncle. They have delicate and sensitive minds.

Children often feel inexplicable fear, always worried that something precious will be lost——

Chen Caozhi turned around and asked, "Do you believe Uncle Chou?"

The two children suddenly became energetic and shouted: "Believe it!"

Chen Cao said: "Well, go upstairs and study and practice calligraphy. Don't waste a day's work."

Chen Caozhi came to the main hall of Ding's villa. After saluting Ding Yi, he calmly sat down at the last table without squinting, but all three people in the hall could see him. He had an impression of Ding Yi, who was noble, stubborn and strict.

Divided into common people——

What surprised Chen Caozhi was that the old man in his fifties sitting in the seat, with a corner bun, sparse eyebrows and a mandarin shirt, was actually the old scholar he had met yesterday at Fenglin Ferry.

!

There is another person in his forties, with green hair tied up in a green cap, wearing a bamboo rolled beam crown and a single jacket. He is playing with a jade Ruyi inlaid with gold and shells in his hand. At first glance, his skin color is white.

Then you can see that there is yellow in the white, and black in the yellow. It turns out that this person has applied powder.

Although Ding Yi did not bother to introduce two distinguished guests to Chen Caozhi out of contempt for the Chen family, Chen Cao could tell at a glance that the person proposing was not the old scholar, but this guy wearing powder.

In contrast to Chen Caozhi's squinting eyes, Ding Yi, Sanqi often served Quanli, and Chu Wenqian, the widower with powder coat, looked at Chen Caozhi without any scruples -

The slightly fat Quan Changshi smiled and nodded slightly;

Ding Yi was quite surprised. After two years of seeing him, Chen Caozhi had grown into a talented person with a good demeanor.

Chu Wenqian, a widower who put on powder, glanced at Chen Cao, then air-conditioning came out of his nostrils, and he looked at the hall beam.

Ding Yi said: "Chen Caozhi, I heard that you have a glimpse of calligraphy?"

Chen Caozhi didn't say much and responded: "Yes."

Ding Yidao said: "This is Mr. Qian Tangchu, who is good at calligraphy. If you want to ask him for advice, I will help you this time - bring me pen, ink, paper and inkstone."

Then a waiter placed two sets of pen, ink, paper and inkstones on the small tables in front of Chu Wenqian and Chen Caozhi respectively, poured a little water into the inkstones, and started to grind the ink.

Chen Caozhi signaled the waiter to step aside, and he polished the ink himself, holding his sleeve with one hand and polishing the ink with the other hand, taking his time and applying even force.

Chu Wenqian watched the waiter grinding the ink with his hands and laughed at himself: "I will make an exception today. I will make an exception today. Liao Bo Quan will always be here. Ding Sheren will smile."

The waiter quickly polished an inkstone, and Chu Wenqian did not wait for Chen Caozhi. He picked up the fine long-point pen made by Jiankang Baima Workshop, grated the ink, thought for a moment, and put the pen on Zuo Boziyi paper.

Just write——

Quanli Quanzi, the leader of the Qiantang gentry, stood up and walked over. He stood behind Chu Wenqian and read his writing. Chu Wenqian used his famous Han Li "Liuqi Stele" style. The full name of "Liuqi Stele" is "Lu Wenqian".

"Xian Han ordered the Confucius Temple Ceremonial Stele", the font is neat, the size is well-proportioned, the left and right are regular, the rules are strict, the pen is thin and vigorous, the weight is full of changes, the most obvious feature is that the foot is particularly thick, and the sharp point is very sharp

Clear, the swallowtail is particularly wonderful.

Chu Wenqian wrote the first half of "The Book of Songs·Guan Sui"——

"Guan Guan Jiujiu, in the river island. A graceful lady, a gentleman likes to fight.

The water-lilies are scattered here and there. The fair ladies are longing for them.

I can’t get what I want, so I sleep hard and think about it. I’m so leisurely, I’m tossing and turning——”

Quanli had a clear official position and extraordinary knowledge. He saw that the "Liturgical Stele" written by Chu Wenqian was more than thick and heavy, but not calm, and more than beautiful in charm, but not elegant enough. Such a book can only be regarded as low-grade.

Since the implementation of the nine-grade Zhongzheng system, grade evaluation has become fashionable. Regardless of calligraphy, poetry, music, painting, Go, or even appearance, demeanor, and high-minded talks, there are good people who criticize them, and they are also divided into nine grades.

The difference is that in the nine-grade Zhongzheng system, the imperial court appointed officials headed by Situ to evaluate, while the grades of calligraphy, poetry and poetry are decided by the people. As far as calligraphy is concerned, there are currently only two people listed as the first grade.

, that is Wang Xizhi and Xie An.

While Chen Caozhi was still grinding his ink, Chu Wenqian had finished half of "Guan Sui". He put down his pen, clasped his fist on his left shoulder, turned his head and said, "Let Quan Chang Shi see it and laugh."

Quan Li said: "Yes, it is also a good word for high quality."

At this time, Chen Caozhi bowed to Chu Wenqian and said, "Please lend me a pen."

Chu Wenqian was stunned, then laughed and said: "Do you think my pen is particularly good, and the reason why I can write well is because I have a good pen?"

Chen Caozhi remained calm and silent, his eyes bright and quiet.

Chu Wenqian, a powdered widower, shook his head and asked the waiter to hand this pen with a long sharp edge to Chen Caozhi. The more he thought about it, the more ridiculous it became, and he couldn't help laughing.

Chen Caozhi didn't look at Chu Wenqian anymore. He rolled out the Ziyi paper, which was as thin as frost and as thin as film, pressed it down with both ends of the paperweight, held a pen in each hand, evened out the ink, and said in the ceremony

, Ding Yi, Chu Wenqian looked at him in surprise as he wrote with his hand. His left and right hands moved simultaneously, and the two pens fell onto the paper at the same time——

With a flick of his tail, Quan Li strode over and stood on Chen Cao's left side. Ding Yi also came over and stood on his right side. The two of them leaned forward and stretched their necks to read Chen Cao's writing. They were both stunned.

Chu Wenqian sat still at first, with contempt in his heart, and thought to himself: "It's not just doing acrobatics, writing with both hands, grandstanding, it's just graffiti, does it count as calligraphy?" But looking at Quan Changshi and Ding Sheren, what's the point?

His eyes were getting bigger and bigger, and his expression changed from surprise to admiration. Chu Wenqian couldn't help it anymore, and he stood up and walked over to take a look. The two glances surprised him——

I saw that what Chen Caozhi wrote on his left hand was the most popular regular script of Zhong Yao's "Declaration Table" today. The writing style is graceful and natural, the stipples are vigorous, and the combination of hardness and softness. "Declaration Table" was highly praised by Wang Xizhi, the right general who ranked first in books.

It is extremely famous and is a regular script model that is imitated by calligraphers all over the world. Naturally, Chu Wenqian also copied it, so it can be seen that Chen Caozhi’s skills in the "Declaration Table" script are not inferior to his, but this is only a fifteen-year-old

A young man!

However, that's all. After all, there are many calligraphers who copy the "Declaration Form". The font written on Chen Caozhi's right hand is strange. He has never seen this kind of font. It is regular script. The font seems to be handsome and slender.

The man's clothes are elegant, but he has an awe-inspiring character, his fonts are rigorously structured, and his style is plain, yet he appears sinister and charming from time to time——

Although Chu Wenqian looked down on people from a humble family, but as a scholar who had been systematically studying since childhood, he still had some knowledge and accomplishments. He knew that Chen Caozhi's right hand calligraphy was unique and different from Wang Xizhi, the two great calligraphers in the world.

He had to admit that this style of calligraphy was beautiful.

Sanqi Changshi Quanli's eyesight was naturally superior to that of Chu Wenqian. He carefully observed the similarities and differences between Chen Caozhi's two calligraphy styles and the pen movements of his left and right hands, and found that Chen Caozhi did not move his left and right pens at the same time.

Finally, it is always impossible to do two things at once. Let’s leave aside the regular script of Chen Caozhi’s “Declaration Form” on his left hand. The regular script on his right hand is strong and straight, and the writing style of official script can be vaguely seen, which is the same as Wang Xizhi’s euphemistic and implicit, beautiful and beautiful style.

His calligraphy style is different, with a unique masculine beauty that is solemn and free-spirited——

Of course, both of Chen Caozhi's calligraphy styles are far from reaching the state of naturalness, smoothness and ease. It can be said that the atmosphere is already there, but the fire is still shallow. According to Quan Li's insight, Chen Caozhi's left hand "Declaration Form"

The regular script can be rated as the eighth grade, and the sharp and straight regular script on the right hand can be rated as at least the seventh grade. Chen Caozhi is only fifteen years old. In terms of calligraphy alone, his future achievements are limitless.

On the other hand, Chu Wenqian's Han Li "Ritual Stele" style, after so many years of practice, can barely be regarded as the ninth level, but it has been practiced to a deadlock, has no aura, and can no longer improve.
