Chapter 169 The way is different!

This is the deep meaning of another world that only respects Confucianism and deposes hundreds of schools of thought.

Huang Lao was inaction, the Legalists were strict, and the Mohists were against the war. Only the Confucians unswervingly supported Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty to fight the war to the end!

You think Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty went all out with military force, but in fact the relationship between the Han and the Xiongnu was life-and-death.

During the Han Dynasty, the Middle-earth dynasty did not have overwhelming advantages over the nomads in all aspects, and even the nomads did not accept the influence of the Middle-earth civilization.

The contradictions in later generations were not so acute, because even the nomadic peoples in later generations were influenced by Confucianism and all aspects of Chinese civilization.

That is to say, the Han Dynasty defeated the Xiongnu, which allowed China to establish an overwhelming advantage over the nomads in terms of civilization.

In the Han Dynasty, it can be said that they were two enemies of equal size, or even a conflict between two civilizations, fighting to the death.

This is completely different from the nature of the war that followed!

It's just a pity that Tao Xiaowu likes this Confucianism and sympathizes with this Confucianism.

But after all, we are not in the same group, and we don’t sit together.

Children talk about right and wrong, adults only talk about interests.

What's more, Confucianism only represents advanced nature in this era... advanced nature that is too advanced, but it does not mean that it is correct.

In another world, people joked that Wang Mang and Liu Xiu were a battle between two time travellers, or a battle between a time traveler and a son of a plane!

Why do everyone think Wang Mang is a time traveler?

Because all the things Wang Mang implemented, even if people look at them now, they don't think they are outdated.

The policies he implemented were basically derived from the Confucianism at that time, especially the ideals of the Gongyang School.

Things that are not considered obsolete two thousand years later were placed in the early AD era two thousand years ago. You can imagine what the consequences would be!

Sighing slowly, Tao Xiaowu smiled and said: "Actually, I feel that our Immortal Sect, well, we are people who refine Qi and cultivate immortality. They are very similar to your Confucianism in that they both pursue immortality!"

Na Nuocheng raised his eyebrows and said disapprovingly: "How to say that?"

"The Supreme Being has established virtues, followed by meritorious deeds, and the third has established words. Even if they are not abolished for a long time, this is called immortality. Isn't that what you Confucian scholars are pursuing?" Tao Xiaowu said with a smile.

As soon as these words came out, Na Nuocheng became serious from being disapproving.

Listening to Tao Xiaowu continue to speak: "To establish virtue means to create a law and to benefit everyone. To establish meritorious service means to save people from disasters and to help the time. To establish words means to get the key points of the words and to pass them on..."

Nuo Cheng originally disagreed with what Tao Xiaowu said. He wanted to say that we Confucians do not pursue immortality, unlike you people!

However, listening to Tao Xiaowu's words, he kept nodding his head, sighing in his heart, these three immortals can be said to have exhausted the achievements of Confucian scholars!

Confucian scholars pursue nothing more than these three things. However, speaking of Tao Xiaowu, these three also pursue immortality and want to be passed down to future generations for thousands of years.

Establishing morality is not what later people thought of as morality, but creating a system and benefiting the public means developing society and benefiting the world!

Needless to say, meritorious service is to save people from disasters and help them in time. Whether it is building bridges and roads, or building canals and fertile fields, this is true...

Looking at the ancient sages who have been revered as gods since ancient times, most of them are remembered by the people because of their meritorious service and are regarded as gods!

The most typical example is Dujiangyan. For thousands of years, there is still a temple for Li Bing, the prefect of Shu County, and sacrifices have not been abolished in the past dynasties.

And Li Yan, after death, his works still exist, and they are still read and even respected by people for thousands of years.

These are the Confucian system of gods, gods, earth, humans and ghosts in a practical sense and in a Shinto sense.

Gods belong to innate existence, which is the so-called heaven, earth, sun, moon, stars, four seasons, etc., and are the embodiment of the world.

And the earth is naturally the god who rules over the famous mountains, rivers and mountains.

It can also be said to be the incarnation of everything on the earth!

But humans and ghosts use humans to become gods.

Being wise and upright is a god, protecting the country and blessing the people is a god.

In fact, the so-called great sages and great sages in Confucianism all become such gods after death.

This is immortality in Shinto!

In this world, no matter whether the Confucian scholars are practicing virtue or doing meritorious service, what they ultimately pursue is to die and become a god. Isn't this the pursuit of immortality?

Nuo Cheng himself was a Confucian scholar, so he was particularly touched by Tao Xiaowu's words and couldn't help but nod slightly.

However, Tao Xiaowu continued to smile and said: "It's just that we are also different. What your Confucianism pursues is to benefit the world. Whether it is building morals, meritorious service or building reputations, it is to benefit the people of the world.

The so-called establishing a heart for heaven and earth, establishing a destiny for the living and the people, carrying on the unique teachings for the past saints, and creating peace for all generations...

But what we as practitioners pursue is to be alone."

Nuo Cheng's body was shaken violently. If Tao Xiaowu said those three immortals at first, it only made him feel sad.

But at this time, when Tao Xiaowu plagiarized these four sentences from Hengqu, they were so shocking that Na Nuocheng trembled.

The more Confucian you are, the more you are immersed in Confucian knowledge, the deeper you will feel about the four sentences.

It simply describes the heart of a Confucian scholar!

The three immortals are still spoken from a utilitarian point of view, but these four sentences from Hengqu are spoken from the heart, and are words from the heart of a Confucian scholar.

These four sentences should have been spoken by a great Confucian scholar, or even a great sage.

At this moment, what Tao Xiaowu said was shocking, but it also made Nuo Cheng feel deeply regretful, and at the same time, his confidence became stronger.

He bowed respectfully to Tao Xiaowu, bowed his head to the end, and said: "If you can say these four sentences, if you join our holy religion, you will become a great Confucian and a great sage, and you may even be a saint!"

Just for these four sentences, please accept my bow!"

Tao Xiaowu did not dodge and accepted the worship.

He did not receive this obeisance himself, but naturally he received this obeisance for Zhang Hengqu in another world.

Tao Xiaowu himself can be modest and not be worshiped.

However, if he plagiarizes Hengqu's four sentences in this world, he is not representing himself.

And these four sentences of Hengqu are absolutely qualified to be worshiped!

He can be humble himself, but he cannot be humble for Hengqu.

After Nuo Cheng bowed sincerely, he stood up. The look of regret in his eyes became thicker: "What a pity!"

"It's no pity! It's just that you and I have different ways. You have your way, and I have mine. Whoever can follow his own way depends on the strength of the sword in his hand!"

Don't worry, even if I kill you, I will let your soul go and return to the Confucian Temple!"

Tao Xiaowu's tone was calm, but he had already drawn his sword, and every word contained unparalleled murderous intent and confidence.

"Me too! And, as long as I die, our affairs will be wiped out, and no one will seek revenge from you for the Feng family's affairs in the future!" Nuo Cheng said.

The two people's eyes met in mid-air, and for a moment it was like two hammers smashing together, sparks flying everywhere, and the air trembling.
