Chapter 55 The hard-to-find law firm

During the day, Hell's Kitchen looks a bit like New York City.

Although most of the honest people here go to work in other neighborhoods during the day, there are not many people in Hell's Kitchen, and there is less prosperity.

But at least the streets here are very spacious and very clean.

In addition, the traffic coming and going in several main blocks also adds a lot of popularity to Hell's Kitchen.

Leo didn't know where Matt's law firm was located, so he could only search aimlessly and follow wherever he went.

Before setting off, Leo asked Old Tom. But Old Tom didn't know where there was a law firm run by a blind man in Hell's Kitchen.

Old Tom's answer made Leo very confused.

Because according to Leo's memories of his previous life, Matt was keen on defending the poor and innocent people in Hell's Kitchen. And it was generally difficult for these poor people to find lawyers willing to defend them.

Matt's unique approach made his law firm very famous in Hell's Kitchen, and even eventually spread to the ears of the great entrepreneur Wilson Fisk.

Wilson Fisk is also the famous underworld emperor Kingpin. Leo has seen his name in the newspapers many times in the past few days, and even seen his photos in the newspapers.

What surprised Leo was that King here was not a fat white man like in the Daredevil TV series or Spider-Man, but a strong black man like in the Daredevil movie.

In the newspaper with a black and white background, Jin Bin's black facial features are not clearly visible, only his big white teeth are very conspicuous.

However, if you look carefully, Leo can still tell that the Kingpin in the photo looks much younger than the Kingpin in the Daredevil movie.

Suddenly, Leo remembered something Bucky said. He said that Night Stalker's voice sounded like that of a boy under 20 years old.

Could it be that Daredevil is still studying at Columbia University and has not graduated? The so-called law firm has not even been opened yet?!

Leo thought as he walked on a main road in Hell's Kitchen. The more he thought about it, the more it seemed possible. Otherwise, how could Old Tom, who has a lot of connections in Hell's Kitchen, not have heard of the law firm run by Matt!

Thinking of this, Leo was a little disappointed. Originally, he wanted to hire Matt as his company's legal adviser.

Although Matt is blind and has some inconvenience in doing things, Leo admires his kindness, integrity and sincerity.

Leo's desire to open a company was urgent and he was pressed for time. Moreover, Leo had been searching along several main roads in Hell's Kitchen for an hour and could not find a law firm run by a blind man.

Therefore, Leo can basically conclude that Matt's law firm has not yet opened.

Therefore, he was not going to look for it anymore and was going to find an intermediary agency to handle the matter of applying for a company first.

Just as Leo was about to turn around and go back, a loud roar suddenly sounded from behind him, startling him.

"Hey, man, you have to put the sign straighter. I paid you, but if you put the sign so diagonally, how can I do business in the future?"

Leo turned around and saw a slightly obese young man directing two decoration workers to hang a wooden sign on the door of a small shop.

The decoration workers were following the young man's instructions and were constantly adjusting the position of the signboard. On the signboard were written a few words "Nielsen-Murdoch Law Firm".

Leo's eyes lit up. Isn't the name on the sign the name of the law firm opened by Matt and his best friend?

Leo walked forward quickly and said hello to the fat young man. After the young man's attention was focused on him, Leo stretched out his right hand and greeted formally:

"Hi, hello, my name is Leo Erwin, what is your name, sir?"

The fat young man didn't know why, but out of politeness, he shook hands with Leo and said doubtfully:

"Hello, I am Mr. Franklin Nelson Irvine. How can I help you?"

Franklin Nelson? Isn't this the full name of Matt's good friend Fudge! It seems that Leo was right, this is the law firm opened by Daredevil.

Leo smiled, pointed to the sign that was still being searched for the best position, and said:

"I saw your sign. Is this a newly opened law firm? I happen to have some related business that I need to consult. I don't know if it's convenient now."

"Convenient, of course. Our law firm has been completely renovated, only this sign is missing. But it is now open for normal business. Sir, please come in quickly."

Fudge was overjoyed. On the first day of business, business came to the door. But what a blessing, Fudge hurriedly rushed Leo into the house to welcome him.

Leo followed Fudge into the house and found that the house was not big, even pitifully small. Leo could see everything in the house clearly with just one glance.

Apart from ordinary furniture and law-related books, there was only a blind young man wearing sunglasses sitting next to a typewriter.

The typewriter was working at this time, printing out sheets of Braille with holes in the paper.

Fudge saw Matt when he entered the door and said in surprise:

"Matt, why are you wearing sunglasses in the house? You don't like it!"

Matt didn't answer, and Fudge didn't delve deeper, but continued:

"Matt, this is Mr. Leo Irvine. Mr. Irvine, this is my partner Matt Murdoch.

Even though he is blind, he ranks first in every subject in college and is about to graduate from the Columbia University Law Department as an honors graduate this spring.

If you have any legal-related matters, you can consult him directly, and he guarantees that he can perfectly solve your problems."

Fudge enthusiastically introduced Leo and Matt to each other, and then he continued:

"Mr. Erwin, you can chat with Matt next. I have to go to the door to install the sign. If you have anything else, you can call me at any time."

Afterwards, Fudge walked out of the door with a happy look on his face, and his voice even sounded a little brighter when he directed the decoration workers.

After Fudge left, Matt stood up gropingly, pointed to his right front and said:

"Mr. Erwin, there is a sofa here. Please sit down."

Leo sat down on the sofa and looked at Matt's young face carefully. Matt wore big sunglasses, so Leo couldn't see much expression on his face.

But Leo was fully confident that Matt must have heard Leo's voice and knew that Leo was the person who threw him in Hell's Kitchen more than half a month ago.

But Matt acted very calmly, because he never expected that Leo would recognize him.

"Mr. Matt, nice to meet you."

Leo was polite for a moment, and then got straight to the point,

"I'm planning to open a technology company recently, but I lack a legal advisor. And I'm not very familiar with things related to opening a company. I would like your law firm to help me handle the company registration procedures.

I wonder if it’s possible?”
