Chapter 11 The forage has been upgraded

I went back to the house, took a shower, and went to sleep. Before going to bed, I thought about whether I could plant grass in the space tomorrow morning.

When I woke up the next morning, I found that it was still dark, so I found a bucket and carried a small vacuum cleaner into the space. I thought about it last night and thought it would be better to use this one. Leaving it on overnight should be enough.

After working in the space for a long time, I collected most of the bucket of grass seeds. It's not that Ju'an is tired, but that the vacuum cleaner is out of power.

When we got out of the space, it was already bright. We heated up the leftover beef soup from yesterday. We had a hearty meal for one person and three dogs. We left the preserved eggs at home to look after the house. We took the tiger heads and garlic and drove around the pasture in four wheels.

Get up and look for a good place to plant grass seeds.

After driving for more than half an hour in the thigh-high grass, Ju An stopped in front of a large pond. The pond was about the size of a football field. After looking around, he also found a few white-tailed ducks.

The deer was drinking water, glanced at Ju An, ignored him and continued drinking.

Damn it, you are drinking my water and eating my grass on my land without even saying hello. You think you are a civil servant of the Celestial Dynasty. In two days, I will take this guy with you and sacrifice you to the five internal organs temple.

Hutou and Garlic both sat up at this time, staring at the white-tailed deer, watching motionlessly, and then walked softly to the place where the deer drank water.

Ju An had already got out of the car and was observing the pond, thinking about releasing all the fish, eels, and thorns in the pond in the space, so that it would be easier to explain when eating later.

While I was thinking about it, I suddenly heard two barking barks. I saw Garlic and Tiger Head chasing a small deer, like the one that was drinking trumpet by the water just now. One of the two guys was chasing behind, and the other was chasing.

He was preparing to block the deer's escape direction, and seemed to be preparing to drive the deer towards him.

Seeing the frightened deer, Ju An called out: "Tiger Head, Garlic Head is back." The two dogs stopped chasing the deer, wagging their tails and climbed onto the car again.

Dip the grass seeds in the bucket with water and scatter them along the lake. After scattering the seeds, I felt that the pond was bare, so I broke off a dozen vines from the fence of the space, dipped them in water and inserted them in the pond.

On the side, under the cover of thigh-high grass, the vines and space grass are not very obvious, although they are growing very fast.

Then I fished for fish from the pond in the space. Fortunately, I bought a fishing net back home, with a regular handle and a triangular shelf in front of it, with the net port stuck on the edge.

No matter what kind of fish they were, I fished out more than a dozen nets in a row. I fished out more than ten large herrings with arm lengths, and dumped them into the pond. I was afraid that the fish would not adapt to the new environment, so I took two more buckets.

The water from the earthen fence is poured into the pond.

After finishing working on the fish pond, Ju An looked around carefully to see how the space grass was growing. When he pushed aside the grass, he saw that the dark green space grass had spread over a large area, and the growth was great.

In fact, Ju An just observed the ground. What Ju An couldn't see in the layers was that although the vines he transplanted were short and just above his knees, the thin roots underneath kept trying to spread around.

, and the space grass also extends forward along the roots of the vine, and the roots keep growing. The space grass also keeps producing grass seeds. The grass seeds fall off and sprout again, and the roots of the grass buds are tightly combined.

With vine roots.

The roots of the vine are like a natural water supply pipe, constantly providing water to the space grass. Ju'an is equivalent to getting a biological irrigation system for free.

Of course, Ju An didn't know this. He only knew that the space grass was growing very well, and the leaves on the dozen or so vines had also changed from emerald green to the same dark green as in the space.

He started the four-wheel drive and drove forward. After driving for a while, he saw the edge of his pasture. A wooden stake that reached Ju An's chest was inserted into the ground, one at a distance of about six or seven meters. There were three layers of barbed wire surrounding the top and bottom.

There were thorns on it, a bit like the barbed wire in the movie. After walking along the wooden piles for a while, I saw a shabby wooden sign hanging on a pile that read: Private property, no entry.

Along the way, we saw a few more of the white-tailed deer we just saw. They were grazing leisurely in the pasture. I guess these guys got under the wire fence. After walking for a while, Ju An also found a nest of deer.

The red fox, the big fox and the little fox disappeared in the blink of an eye.

I looked at the sky and saw that the sun was already very high, so I drove towards the house.

After parking the four-wheeler, Piedan came over wagging his tail, rubbed Piedan's head twice, praised him a few times, and walked into the vegetable garden.

The entire vegetable garden is no longer the earthy color it was yesterday. There are green tomatoes with a hint of red, green cucumbers as big as thumbs, winter melons as big as fists, palm-long beans and loofahs, and half-height cabbages.

.The whole vegetable garden is full of vitality.

After careful observation, there was no obvious sign of growth. Ju An was relieved. If Old Thomas and the others came and saw that these things were growing at a speed visible to the naked eye, they would be in big trouble.

I added a little bit of water from the soil fence to the single-person bathtub at the door, and then tried it a few times on nearby tomatoes. It was safe to just add half a cup to dilute it. If there is more, you can see it carefully.

.

After finishing these things, I started to make lunch, the same as yesterday, but this time it burned less.

After lunch, I continued to clean up the room. In fact, there was nothing to clean. The real estate agent kept hiring people to clean, and even the books in the bookcases were not removed. There were no problems with the refrigerator, TV, and even satellite Internet access.

It's a pity that I don't have a computer in Ju'an. The old computer was sold when I was in Jiangnan. I will buy a notebook in a few days, but considering that they are all in English, I plan to bring one with me the next time I go to China.

After a few scans, Ju An moved out a rocking chair and sat under the porch outside the door to take a nap.

While he was sleeping soundly, a sudden burst of dog barking woke Ju An up. When he opened his eyes, he saw an F450 with a large trailer driving towards here. Old Thomas and the others had arrived.

After stopping the three guys who were wasting their saliva, Ju An stood up from his chair.

After a while, the big tow truck arrived next to the house. Old Thomas got out of the passenger seat and said, "Hey Ann, we're not too late."

Ju An looked at Wynn and Nancy who jumped out of the car and said, "It's not too late, just in time."

Then I saw the three guys behind me: "Oh, these three guys are really big."

Ju An pointed at them one by one and introduced them: "These are preserved eggs, tiger heads, and garlic heads." Before he finished speaking, these guys surrounded the three of them and started sniffing them.

Regardless of these three guys, they chatted with Thomas for a few words, and Ju An helped them move their things. Originally, Ju An wanted them to live in a two-story house, and they were alone anyway. Old Thomas refused, and then chose the left hand

The first room, Wynn chose the second one.

Nancy chose the last room on the right, near the stable.

When helping old Thomas move things, he discovered that Thomas had brought his own saddle, water rein, and lasso. After seeing that Nancy and Wynn also brought their own saddles, old Thomas explained: "As a cowboy, you can

You don’t have your own horse, but you must have your own saddle.”

Nancy has more things, a lot of cosmetics and clothes, and she also brought a few rolls of cowhide

While helping old Thomas move things, Ju An also took a look at the worker's house, and took a brief look at the pasture. When he went in, he saw that Thomas' room had a small living room, a kitchen, and a five- to six-square-meter bathroom.

.The area is about fifty square meters.

Thomas was very satisfied with the room and told Ju An that the conditions on the farm were much better than those at the last farm he worked on. During the conversation, Ju An learned that you don’t need to provide cooked meals to the cowboys on the farm, just provide meat for free, and the vegetables are all cowboys.

You buy and cook by yourself, so every room has a kitchen.

Ju An thought that this was quite easy and it also saved the cook money.

After Old Thomas and the others packed up their things, Ju An took the three of them and looked around. When the three of them entered the large vegetable room, all three of them were surprised.

Thomas pushed aside a few leaves and looked at the fist-sized tomatoes: "They are growing really well. I'll finish the vegetables later. Look at this. I'll have some tomatoes in two days and you'll be able to eat them." As he continued to read, the three of them were very excited.

Look at the cucumbers and loofahs happily.

"It would be great if we could grow some carrots, horses love to eat them," Thomas said regretfully.

"The cabbage planting is a bit sparse. Let's get some seeds in two days and plant some in the middle of the cabbage." Ju An thought to himself: He only remembered what he likes to eat, but forgot that horses like carrots.

Next, he looked at the stable and Thomas said: "The stable is okay, but I need to buy a saddle and a water rein." Ju An looked up and saw that the saddle rack was empty, and the water rein was nowhere to be seen, let alone the sweat pad.

After listening to Thomas' words, Ju An nodded.

Thomas carefully inspected the large garages, barns, etc. that came down, especially the small machines in the large garages, and found that they were all well maintained and did not need to be replaced. After reading this, several people went back to the house to prepare dinner.
