don't blame her

"Yes," An Lin replied, turned and walked out of the office.

Ten minutes later, He Zikai's cell phone on his desk rang. He Zikai picked up the phone and saw that it was He Cheng's call. He hesitated for a few seconds and answered the call.

"He Zikai, don't bully others too much. I still have 30% of the shares in He Yi Empire. I have the power to decide who stays and who leaves." He Cheng's scolding voice sounded the moment the call was connected.

It reached He Zikai's ears.

"Then what?" He Zikai asked calmly. Over the years, his eldest brother had competed with him for family property and power. He had become accustomed to such angry voices and words.

"I want to keep that person, you can't fire him." He Cheng said, as long as that person stays in the He Yi Empire, he can help him keep an eye on the financial situation of the He Yi Empire, and he will know He Zikai's incoming and outgoing accounts at any time.

.

"What if I don't stay?" He Zikai's voice was filled with gloom, waiting for He Cheng to push the limits of his patience.

"I will protest as a shareholder and convene a high-level meeting." He Cheng replied.

"At your service at any time." He Zikai said these four words coldly, his eyes full of determination. He had never lost in the mall, and he didn't even look down on He Cheng.

"However." He Zikai suddenly reminded, "If the Ministry of Justice intervenes, the person you mentioned will not just be fired."

"Think", He Cheng shuddered. That person was fired by He Zikai because he embezzled money from He Yi Empire. If legal procedures were followed, the amount of money embezzled would be enough for that person to spend ten years in prison.

He Zikai didn't wait for He Cheng to say anything, hung up the phone and continued busy with his own affairs.

A peaceful day was spent in busy life. After get off work, when He Zikai returned home and saw Cheng Nuo wearing an apron cooking with Aunt Lan in the kitchen, He Zikai suddenly had a dark look on his face.

"What are you doing?" He Zikai stared at Cheng Nuo in the kitchen with his deep eyes. There was a nanny at home. If there were not enough nannies, he could hire more. When would it be her turn to do odd jobs in the kitchen?

The angry voice scared Cheng Nuo and Aunt Lan in the kitchen.

Cheng Nuo looked at He Zikai and didn't dare to speak. He just came back from get off work to help Aunt Lan wash the dishes. Was he so angry?

"I'm sorry, sir, it's all my fault. I asked my wife to help me with some housework. I was wrong." Aunt Lan immediately said in a low voice, already bending down to apologize to He Zikai.

I know my husband's temper very well. How could he allow such a noble person as my wife to do housework? I blame myself for not stopping my wife just now. When I saw my wife coming to the kitchen to help me happily, I wanted to find someone to talk to me.

I just followed my wife's wishes.

"Aunt Lan." Cheng Nuo knew it was not Aunt Lan's fault and immediately helped her up.

Aunt Lan stood up straight, not daring to look at He Zikai.

"It's okay, you're not wrong." Cheng Nuo comforted Aunt Lan. He felt that Aunt Lan's body was no longer shaking, and then walked towards He Zikai.

Standing in front of He Zikai, Cheng Nuo raised his head and looked at his angry face. He was not afraid at all. He just said frankly, "I used to help the nanny cook at my uncle's house, so I'm used to it. Today I have to go to the kitchen."

I helped Aunt Lan, I don’t blame her."

Cheng Nuo was worried that He Zikai would embarrass Aunt Lan, so he explained more clearly.

He Zikai looked at the woman's face as big as a palm, and how much he loved her with those watery eyes. (To be continued)
