Nuo Nuo, how are you?

Cheng Nuo looked at his daughter's cute appearance and raised a smile at the corner of his mouth.

I just had a dream. In the dream, it was the time when I lived with my daughter for five years. I and Little Meili were dependent on each other. I was everything to Little Meili, and she was also everything to me. I would revolve around her every day, and I would be happy.

, there is anger, but that kind of anger lasts less than an hour, and the little beauty can make herself happy again.

In those lives, there was only... no trouble and sadness.

You don't have to worry about other people or other things. There is only little beauty in your world.

"Mommy, I love you so much. Don't let anything happen to you." He Xiaomei lay next to her mommy and said childishly, but the words she spoke were all from her heart.

"Well," Cheng Nuo responded softly, "Mommy will be fine."

"Well, Mommy, do you want to drink water? I'll get you some water." He Xiaomei saw that Mommy's lips were a little dry and asked.

"Okay." Cheng Nuo simply said one word.

He Xiaomei then left to pour water for Mommy.

He Jiayi was worried that something would happen to the little man, so she also left the bedroom and accompanied the little man to pour water for her aunt.

"Nuo'er." After his daughter left, He Zikai kept holding Cheng Nuo's hand and called her affectionately.

Cheng Nuo heard He Zikai's voice, but without looking at He Zikai, he took his hand out of his hand and turned his face to the other side.

"..." He Zikai's heart suddenly became much colder.

This kind of Nuo'er makes me feel very sad.

When the three people around saw this scene, they looked at each other and knew that it was not appropriate to stand here. He Peixu took Bai Wanjing's hand and walked out of the bedroom, and He Cheng followed suit.

He Zikai and Cheng Nuo were the only two people left in the bedroom. He Zikai then approached Cheng Nuo. When he was about to speak, he saw Cheng Nuo closing his eyes.

He Zikai finally didn't say the words he wanted to say.

Nuo'er closed her eyes. She wanted to be quiet and didn't want to listen to herself.

My little woman, for so long, I understand every move she makes.

"Get some rest, I'm going out first." He Zikai said helplessly, then stood up reluctantly, looked at the little woman for a while, and then turned and left.

At this time, in the hospital, two men were standing at the door of the emergency room, waiting.

Suddenly the door to the emergency room opened and a doctor came out.

"Doctor, doctor, how is my friend?" A man hurriedly stepped forward and asked.

"She lost too much blood in her brain and may...never wake up," the doctor said.

The two men panicked, and the other man said, "So, what you mean is..."

"Vegetative state," the doctor defined simply and clearly, "please discuss her future affairs. She can be transferred to a special nursing home affiliated to our hospital, with specialized nurses to take care of her, or she can be taken home to accompany her, but she will not be taken care of until three days later.

She can be discharged from the hospital, and other conditions of her body need to be observed recently."

After the doctor finished speaking, he turned and left.

The two men looked at the doctor's back, then pulled back their thoughts and began to discuss what to do next.

"Sister Shan is usually nice to us. We can't ignore Sister Shan." A man said.

"Well, why don't we leave Sihanouk City? Let's take her back. We will have more friends over there. I can also ask my aunt in the country to take care of Sister Shan." Another man said.

"That's okay. Sister Shan is like this now, and she can't afford to pursue many things. Let's go back and live a normal life."

"Well, it's settled then. I'll call home later and book the tickets."

In the He family mansion, Cheng Nuo took his daughter's hand and went downstairs. His face was very indifferent and showed no expression at all.

He Zikai, his second elder brother, and his eldest brother, Jiayi, were sitting in the living room. When He Zikai saw Cheng Nuo coming downstairs, he immediately got up and walked towards the stairs.

Cheng Nuo just lowered his head and stared at his daughter. From the corner of his eye, he knew that He Zikai was coming, but he had no intention of raising his head to look at him.

When Cheng Nuo and his daughter went downstairs, He Zikai stepped forward and took Cheng Nuo into his arms as usual.

Feeling the warm embrace and the familiar breath, all Cheng Nuo could think of was his parents and the scene in the restaurant before.

Without saying a word, Cheng Nuo struggled to break away from He Zikai's arms, held his daughter's hand and walked towards the restaurant.

He Zikai wanted to hug her again persistently, but he was worried that he would hurt her. He knew Nuo'er's stubborn temper, and she had a child in her belly, so he couldn't tolerate any mistakes on her part.

Others in the living room saw Cheng Nuo's indifferent look, and everyone knew in their hearts that for some reason, no one spoke.

"Is lunch ready?" Cheng Nuo asked a nanny after arriving at the restaurant.

"Okay, Second Young Mistress." The nanny replied respectfully.

"Help me serve some porridge," Cheng Nuo said to the nanny in a calm tone. Then he looked at his daughter and asked, "Can you have some porridge? Go home later and let Grandma Lan prepare something delicious for you."

I was worried that my daughter was hungry, so I first let her drink some porridge to cushion her stomach.

He Xiaomei knew that her mother was in a bad mood, so she nodded obediently without any request.

It makes me so sad to see such a cold mother!

He Peixu and Bai Wanjing saw Cheng Nuo feeding Xiaomei in the restaurant. He Peixu thought about it and said, "Let's go over and eat together."

After saying that, He Peixu got up and walked to the restaurant. He Jiayi took her grandma's arm and also went to the restaurant. Then He Zikai and He Cheng also sat down in the restaurant, and the family began to eat.

The table was full of sumptuous meals. He Xiaomei wanted to eat, but thinking of her mommy, she could only obediently drink the porridge that her mommy fed her.

"Nono, you and Xiaomei should have some food." Bai Wanjing finally couldn't bear it and said to her daughter-in-law.

Knowing that she was the daughter of that couple, I felt even more guilty for Nono. I didn't know what she had experienced growing up, let alone what she was enduring in her heart. Now looking at such an outstanding and virtuous Nono,

I blame myself even more in my heart and blame myself for my brother.

"No, you go ahead and eat." Cheng Nuo responded to her mother-in-law calmly, without any expression on her face.

"..." Bai Wanjing wanted to say something else, but she didn't know how to organize her words and finally remained silent.

Cheng Nuo finished feeding his daughter a bowl of porridge, wiped her mouth with a tissue, and asked, "Let's go home, okay?"

"Yes." He Xiaomei nodded. She wanted to stay with her mommy. She was in a bad mood and she couldn't leave her.

I remember when I was in Ottawa, every time my mommy was in a bad mood, I would stay by her side obediently. It's the same now, I don't want to leave my mommy.

Cheng Nuo stood up, took his daughter's hand, walked towards the restaurant, took out his cell phone and dialed Gong Yi's number.

The call was quickly connected.

"Nono, are you okay?" Gong Yi hurriedly asked on the other end of the phone. (To be continued)
