The four great monks showed off their talents in front of the Buddha's Light Formation in Shujing Temple. Long Yangzi disturbed the position with the Nine Palace Plum Blossom Formation and fixed the formation with a sound of the piano; Zhang Laodao's Tai Chi diagram focused on the attack, and Qing Jun's ink jade stone eliminated the Buddha's light.

At the core of the formation, the Buddha's light gradually gathered and solidified into a goddess with fluttering embroidered ribbons and a flower basket in her hand.

Everyone was shocked when they heard Zhang Laodao exclaim: "The girl on the moon!"

Who is the lady on the moon?

Regarding this issue, Zhao Ran, who had spent a year and a half dealing with powerful and eminent monks in Xingqing, Xixia, knew very well.

When the Buddha's Light Formation in Shusu Sutra Temple appeared, there were goddesses singing and petals filling the sky. If this isn't the goddess scattering flowers as mentioned in the Buddhist scriptures, what is it?

"Vimalakirti Sutra: Spectators' Lives" records: "At that time, there was a woman in Vimalakīrti's room. When she saw the great people hearing the Dharma, she appeared and scattered heavenly flowers to all the Bodhisattvas. The great disciples came up and the flowers came to all the Bodhisattvas.

Even if they all fall, the greatest disciple will not fall. All the disciples cannot be made to fall away by their divine power."

Vimalakirti is an eminent monk in India, with a rich family and many wives and concubines. However, he did not indulge in the enjoyment of the world. Instead, he studied scriptures assiduously and practiced diligently. He was able to "live in the situation without dwelling on it, face the situation without living in the situation".

As a result, he finally achieved enlightenment and attained the status of Bodhisattva in the Western world.

Vimalakirti had a beautiful wife named Wugou, a son named Shansi Tongzi, and a daughter named Yue Shang Nv. The whole family had deep connections with Buddhism, and it was the legendary Suhui family in Buddhism.

When the girl on the moon was eight years old, she grew into a beautiful and beautiful virgin. She discussed the wonderful meaning of Buddhism with the sravakas and bodhisattvas, and received prophecies from the Buddha.

Afterwards, Vimalakīrti and the disciples of the Tathagata were giving lectures on Buddhism. A goddess sprinkled blue flowers all over his body. Shariputra's body was covered with petals, while the other disciples were unable to cover themselves with flowers. Shariputra knew that his practice was not enough, so he redoubled his efforts from then on.

The goddess scattering flowers is Vimalakīrti’s daughter, the Moon Girl.
