The peak of the Arhat Realm, or the monks of the Great Refiner level, are basically the highest level monks that will appear in the battle formation between the two armies. Whether it is the Bodhisattva Realm of Buddhism, the Buddha Realm, or the Heavenly Master of Taoism.
Neither the Great Heavenly Master nor the Great True Realm would be easily involved in a face-to-face military battle.
At their level, they can gradually come into contact with the law of cause and effect. They will have a vague feeling about what causes and effects, and what causes and effects are unfavorable to the enlightenment.
Under the way of heaven, the higher the cultivation level, the greater the causal involvement. For example, if Feng Tang, Zhao Ran and Patriarch Long Yang do the same thing, if the cause and effect of Feng Tang's Zhanlao is one, then the cause and effect of Zhao Ran's Zhanlao is one.
It is ten, and the cause and effect caused by Patriarch Longyang's trouble is one thousand. This is another explanation of the greater the ability, the heavier the responsibility.
For cause and effect, great monks will have great awe from the bottom of their hearts. This awe comes from the desire for nirvana, the desire to ascend, and the pursuit of immortality and not falling into reincarnation.
If there are too many causes and effects on the body, the Taoist monks will suffer more severe tribulation thunder when they ascend, and the cost of elimination will be greater. If they are not careful, they will be eliminated by the tribulation thunder soldiers.
If you are a Buddhist monk, when you open the Jieyinhong Bridge, you will be pulled by the force of cause and effect, causing the direction to deviate. The greater the deviation, the closer you are to hell, and some may even lead directly to hell without even a chance to resolve.
Of course, if you practice for a lifetime, it may be unavoidable to cause harm to people's lives. This requires monks to weigh the importance and consider it carefully.
In the path of Taoism, cause and effect follow each other, and yin and yang are balanced. It is said that human life is related to heaven. Among all causes and effects, human life is the biggest cause and effect. All living beings are equal. This is the ultimate principle of the Tao. Killing and wounding human life at will is not allowed by the way of heaven.
Since all living beings are equal, the cause and effect of an ordinary person's life is the same as that of a monk in the Harmony Realm. In other words, there is no difference in the cause and effect of killing an ordinary person and killing a great monk.
Therefore, unless there is a special reason, the great monks will basically not attack ordinary people or low-level monks. They all suffer from the same cause and effect. Killing ordinary people and low-level monks is really a waste of blood, and it is no different from self-mutilation.
They won't appear in a battle where they are fighting face to face - if they show up, they are very likely to cause a lot of human lives, so why bother?
…
This military meeting decided on a response strategy, and the military focus of the entire Song Dynasty began to shift to the western front.
Shifting the center of gravity to the direction of Baihe on the western front does not mean a large-scale transfer of troops from the northern front to the west. On the contrary, not only cannot they be transferred, but they must also put up a posture on the northern front to prepare for a war. The strengthened Xiaoshan Guards began
They took the initiative to counterattack the Black Mountain Weifu Supervisory Military Division, and within a month they continuously provoked battles involving hundreds of people and dozens of people at least. For a time, the battle clouds in the direction of Ruoergai were thick.
The counterattack on the northern front was to tell Xixia that I was coming, and at the same time cover the secret assembly on the western front. In less than a month, more than 3,000 Ming troops from Xiaohe Qianhusuo and Chishui Qianhusuo passed through in batches and marched at night
In other ways, they stationed themselves in Geyong Village and Mengshui Village respectively, forming two fists accumulating power on the north and south sides of Hongyuan City.
Facing the Baihe River, the Songfan Guards strengthened their combat preparations by tightening internally and loosening externally, paying close attention to the rivers stretching for 200 miles. In Hongyuan City, Baimayuan also began to recruit people to raise the outer city wall of Hongyuan City.
In order to prevent the news from leaking, the Governor-General did not send troops to garrison Hongyuan City. Instead, he gave Zhao Ran a quota of 800 people to form the Hongyuan Militia, and handed over the defense of Hongyuan City to Baima Yuan.
Zhao Ran asked Guan Er to draw more than 500 warriors from the Baojia Self-Defense Forces of surrounding villages and go into the mountains for secret training. At the same time, he asked dozens of former gangsters from the Bandit Village in Jundu Mountain to rush to Songfan day and night to serve as the backbone.
The troops joined in and the number was six hundred. He also asked Baozhong to select two hundred herdsmen with excellent riding skills from the three tribes of vassals, Dangxiang people, and Han people, and paired them with precious war horses to form a cavalry force.
This Hongyuan militia group with a total strength of 800 people was pulled to camp in a valley in Dajun Mountain. Ning Deshou, the Hongyuan garrison, dispatched more than ten officers to come for training. This army of officers was led by a man named Zhang, who was from a hundred households.
The team includes senior sergeants with rich combat experience, such as the general flag and the small flag.
The Ming Dynasty has always maintained a low-intensity war with Xixia, Tubo, and Beiyuan, so the frontier troops are very powerful. Although they are still named as Weisuo, they actually have nothing to do with the Weisuo system.
There has always been a saying between the government and the public that "guarding is not as good as recruiting, and recruiting is not as good as bordering". In other words, the nearly one million soldiers on the books of the Ming Dynasty's military department are divided into three, six and nine ranks.
Among them, the frontier troops are the most capable of fighting.
Therefore, the more than ten low-level officers recruited by Ning Deshou were all experts in military training. Zhao Ran not only attended the reception banquet that night after their arrival, but also toasted them one by one, speaking highly of them as "the pillars of the country and the military."
"The Pillar Stone" moved these young officers so much that their eyes were red and they were almost in tears.
If a militia group is formed alone, it is enough to suppress bandits, but it is far from enough for military formations to kill. It is necessary to have complete armor and weapons, and then conduct a lot of adaptive special training based on this, and soldiers and military armor are closely integrated.
Only in this way can we have an army that can pull into battle formation and fight.
Zhao Ran rushed to the Governor's Mansion in Songfan County again, and after going through strict procedures and procedures, personally accompanied by Jiang Ruobing, the Secretary of the Governor's Mansion, went to the armory to collect the equipment.
Seeing Zhao Ran coming alone, Jiang Ruobing was also a veteran and immediately said: "Abbot Zhao brings a large storage magic weapon?"
Zhao Ran took out the brocade handkerchief and waved it: "Secretary Jiang is laughing."
Jiang Ruobing was immediately surprised: "Ziwu Tips Bag?"
Zhao Ran smiled and asked: "Can this kit still be used?"
Jiang Ruobing was speechless: "Can it still be used? I'm afraid the abbot is joking? I have been an official for decades, and I am well-read. As far as I know, there are only three Ziwu tips in the world. Unexpectedly, one of them is actually from the sect.
The temple and its building are really rich in cultural heritage."
Zhao Ran thought for a while and asked tentatively: "It is indeed not easy to get this thing. It also took three Void Refining monks and eight great masters a total of half a year's work. Well, it's just that this thing has great uses. Why?
Why not refine a batch? It is very useful whether it is for killing troops, transporting money, food, or transporting supplies to government offices in various places."
Jiang Ruobing shook his head: "It's easier said than done. I've read records that the Ziwu Kit was created by Mr. Tongzhen Daling. Five of them were refined at that time, and they were successively damaged due to various reasons over the past three hundred years. After that, Bingcheng Zhiyi
The Great Heavenly Master continued practicing sixty years ago based on Mr. Tongzhen Daling's prescription, combined with the power of dragons and tigers, Maoshan, and only got three of them. You think it is difficult or not?"
Then he sighed: "I heard that these three Ziwu brocade bags are far inferior to the batch made by Mr. Tongzhen Daling. Mr. Yaoxiang's character is really a master..."
