Chapter 998: New Interpretation of Buddhism and Taoism

Taichu didn't care about Wutian's thanks.

But there are people who care, such as pick-ups.

They don't understand why Dao Zun did this and why he helped this guy.

But the miraculous thing is that the moment Wutian woke up and came back to become Wutian Buddha, the luck that had just been broken in Buddhism before was actually condensed a lot.

This is called pick-up, which is a bit dumbfounding.

Jie Yin seems to have understood something. You just don’t accept this Wutian. He is also a Buddha in Buddhism.

Although he usurped Zhunti's position, the inner demon is a magical thing. Although he became possessed and became another existence, it cannot be denied that he is the previous Zhunti.

If Buddhism wants to preserve its luck, it must admit Wutian.

It’s so clear how important luck is.

Now is the time to test your wisdom. Should you resolutely break with Wutian and cut your luck in Buddhism in half?

Whether he accepts Wu Tian with tolerance and maintains his Buddhist destiny depends on his choice.

Because the evil tribulation will come again next, and if he breaks with Wutian at such a critical moment, then the luck of representing Buddhism will inevitably be greatly reduced.

The cost of reducing luck is that the Buddhist sect will suffer heavy losses in the coming calamity, and may even be in danger of annihilation.

This is a difficult decision.

Accepting Wutian and giving him the position of Buddha in Buddhism means accepting the culprit who killed his junior brother.

But the price of not accepting it is the future decline and even disappearance of Buddhism.

This scene is very similar to the previous Longhan catastrophe and Lich catastrophe.

During the catastrophe of the three clans, the three clan leaders self-destructed, and the lich fought. The lich gave up all its territory, one shrank into the sea of blood, and the other fled away into the sea of darkness.

what to do?

This is the answer that Qingyin wants to know right now.

But he sadly discovered that before, there was still a junior brother who could negotiate, but now there is no one to discuss with.

Even if there is Bodhi, the new Bodhi is not Buddhist in any way.

He seems to be the new student of his junior brother, a new student who is free and happy.

Junior brother's new life, Jie Yin could not be cruel and pulled Bodhi into this maelstrom.

Junior Brother has already contributed too much to Buddhism. His new student is not a member of Buddhism. Do you want to drag him into this huge whirlpool?

It would be fine in normal times, but now the devil is back, and if you are not careful, there will be huge disasters.

fortunately!

At this difficult moment, an unexpected person appears.

The one who came was none other than Tathagata Sakyamuni.

"Infinite Taoist Lord, the junior Tathagata has met Taoist Lord, met my Buddha, met Wutian Buddha, and met fellow Taoist Bodhisattva."

As the nominal leader of Buddhism, how could Tathagata not understand what is happening at this moment?

On the way here, he already knew what to do.

He knew that the saint who received the invitation was a saint with a clear self. A saint with a clear self had more emotions, but also a little more fetters.

What I have to do now is to help Jie Yin make a decision, a decision related to the future demise or continuation of Buddhism.

Therefore, there is wisdom in his words.

Calling Wu Tian Buddha Wu Tian, even if he is a demon, he is not a Buddha in the pure sense, nor a demon in the pure sense, a half Buddha and half demon.

For some reason, with the arrival of Tathagata, Jie Yin breathed a sigh of relief, and even felt that someone with whom he could discuss had arrived.

The previous layout of Journey to the West has proven the wisdom of Tathagata, and this sect must not underestimate it.

I even noticed a difference. The Tathagata at this moment was very different.

"Congratulations to Buddha Wutian for his return. Our Buddhist sect has gained a saint, Buddha Amitayus."

After the Tathagata gave gifts to several people, he tentatively congratulated Wutian.

This situation is very embarrassing, and of course the most embarrassing ones are Jie Yin and Bodhi.

They don't understand what Tathagata is up to. This is the enemy.

Wutian smiled, looked at Tathagata thoughtfully, and then bowed to Taichu and said, "Speaking of which, thank you Taoist Master for your gift and awakening me."

Taichu smiled slightly and said nothing, standing beside the old guy Yu Yu, seemingly determined to watch the competition of wisdom among these juniors.

The old man Karma was also very involved. After discovering that Taichu had no concerns about killing him, he began to take action.

He also had a scheming look, watching the wits of several little guys clashing.

As for Tathagata, after hearing Wu Tian's words, his eyes lit up and he said, "So, the Buddha is a Buddha, not a demon?"

"Haha, I am half Buddha and half Buddha. The devil is me and the Buddha is also me. Why are there such distinctions? I am just me." Buddha Wutian said.

He is not stupid either. After Taichu cut off his control of Rahu, he has exceeded expectations.

He was originally controlled by Rahu, but then he was free.

As he said, he is half Buddha and half demon, he is himself, not Rahu's pawn.

In fact, he also wanted to tell Jie Yin Tathagata and the others through such an answer.

Sure enough, after answering like this, Tathagata breathed a sigh of relief and smiled, knowing in his heart that it was not beyond expectations.

Jie Yin seemed to understand and what Tao Zun did just now.

It’s not that Tao Zun deliberately perfected Wutian Buddha, but Wutian’s birth was inevitable, but!

However, Dao Zun cut off the situation where he was controlled.

In other words, Tao Zun's actions just now were not against Buddhism, but to help Buddhism when he did not understand it.

After all, the birth of Wutian is inevitable, so is it better to have Wutian Buddha who is controlled by Demon Ancestor, or to have Wutian Buddha who is not controlled?

As long as you are not stupid, you will naturally understand this question.

A Wutian Buddha who is not controlled by the Demon Ancestor is good.

I even broke into a cold sweat.

He thought that if Tao Zun had not cut him off just now, Buddhism would have to face the unsolvable Wutian Buddha in the future. However, Wutian was controlled by Rahu. Let me ask, if Buddhism is not unlucky, who is unlucky?

Things are different now. Although it is not the best situation, it is not the worst situation either.

There is nothing better than a Wutian Buddha who is not controlled by others.

For this reason, I saw Jieyin bowing to Taichu: "This junior will thank the Taoist Master for his gift."

Taichu still didn't speak, just smiled.

Taichu had helped the three tribes in this way, and also helped the lich in this way. Of course, this time it was no exception to help the Buddhist sect, and it was fair.

As for Taichu's silent smile, apart from the cause and effect of being present, several other things were understood.

Is this Tao Zun watching what the others do?

This is an attitude. If you do well, the Taoist Master may not speak, and if you do poorly, the Taoist Master may not speak. However, if the Taoist Master is here to witness, he values it.

So, what should we do next?

Next is the stage for three people!

I saw the Tathagata saying: "I don't know how I, Buddha Wutian, think about the current situation of Buddhism?"

Wutian was also nervous, after all, Taichu was watching.

He also has to think about his own future. Before he was cut off and controlled, he still had Demon Ancestor as his backer, but after being cut off by Taichu, he became a 'lonely man'.

After all, he is neither a real demon nor a real Buddha.

If you want to live a good life in the future, you need wisdom.

Therefore Wu Tiandao said: "It is too narrow, even your Mahayana Buddhism is like this. The five aggregates in previous teachings are empty and unrealistic. All living beings have desires, and desires are not inevitable. I think suppression is not the only method, guidance is.

Demons have their ways, and Buddhas have their ways. All good things should be accepted, instead of denying everything in a biased way."

"What about?" Jie Yin also started to intervene.

"For example, Desire, Zhunti is a saint, and I was born. This is a saint! Not to mention those Bodhisattvas and Arhats." Wutian said with a slap in the face.

"Humph, if it weren't for your despicableness..." Jie Yin became angry as soon as he said this, and he had not yet recovered from the pain of his junior brother being gone.

If it weren't for the fact that Buddhism was also his junior brother's hard work and he couldn't bear to destroy it, he would really have the guts to risk it all and fight against the devil, even if Buddhism disappeared in the end.

"Buddha, you might as well let Buddha Wutian finish." Tathagata interrupted the anger of the guide.

He understood that it was a very irrational moment to welcome the Buddha and be filled with anger. He could not and was not irrational, so he had to hold on.

"Huh!" Jie Yin finally didn't want Buddhism to disappear into thin air, so he endured it.

However, he looked at Bodhi very affectionately. This is the continuation of his junior brother. Maybe Bodhi's self-corpse is cut out again, and the junior brother he is familiar with may return in a different way. Even if he is not a 'pure' junior brother, it will at least give him some comfort.

.

Wutian didn't care about the introduction, but continued:

"Since everything cannot be empty, let's make the teachings bigger. Buddha is the enlightened person in general. What is enlightenment? I think it is the awakening of Tao heart, not the awakening of suppressing desires;

I became a Buddha because of inner demons, am I not a Buddha? So if this continues, dual cultivation is the path of yin and yang, why can’t I become a Buddha?;

Buddha is the mind, why should it be limited to the skin? Killing is also a way of enlightenment, why can't you become a Buddha by killing..."

Wutian said this, no matter what others think, something has changed in Taichu.

Taichu thought in his mind: Buddha of Joy, Buddha of Killing, Buddha of the Dead, Buddha of Desire, etc. Could it be that these seemingly evil Buddhas appeared due to the birth of Wutian?

Is it true? Before, I had doubts about why these Buddhas and Bodhisattvas did not appear. It turned out to be Wutian who caused them.

And Wutian is right, Buddha at this moment is too narrow-minded.

Even a saint can achieve nothing. If you ask a junior to have nothing in mind and suppress all desires, this is nonsense.

I always felt that there were loopholes in the Buddha, but now Wutian has fixed them.

"absurd!"

A roar startled Taichu who was deep in thought. Who could be so loud?

When he saw it was Jie Yin, Taichu looked at Jie Yin expressionlessly.

Jie Yin suddenly felt nervous. Could it be that Tao Zun was unhappy? What should he do?

"You, you, how can you say these..., my Buddhist teachings are to abstain from sex, greed, and desire, uh..."

Jieyin was sobbing, and he had prepared words to refute Wutian, but Taichu's expressionless eyes made him feel weak.

Who is Wutian? When he saw this situation, he thought: Tao Zun supports this. Let me just say, Tao Zun is a dual cultivator of gods and demons, or a dual cultivator of the extremes. How could he not see clearly the absurdity of some Buddhist teachings?

.

It turns out that Taoist Master is not interested in the emptiness of the five aggregates in Buddhism, such as great compassion, caution against lust, ignorance, and greed...

The opportunity has come.

Therefore, Wutian seemed to be beating the blood and said: "Buddhism continues to spread the Dharma and let the world worship it. Isn't it desire? We attract believers to increase their luck, isn't it greed?"

I also admire many Buddhist disciples with great perseverance, but I don’t think that their great perseverance is given without expecting anything in return;

If you don’t have great perseverance to gain merit and luck, I don’t believe there are so many people who don’t ask for anything in return. There is only one way to seek the truth, and it is still a road of no return. If you don’t advance, you will retreat..."

Wutian talks with great eloquence, which makes him blush.

You have to admit that Buddhism's efforts to enhance luck can also be described as desire and greed.

Of course, Jieyin can also retort: If a worker wants to do his job well, he must first sharpen his tools. Only when Buddhism is strong can more people be saved.

But? But! Guarding Taichu, it’s a bit of a slap in the face for you to say that.

There is no right or wrong way for living beings to seek the Tao. Of course, there is no such thing as not asking for anything in return.

Jie Yin was silent!

This is the pain of Buddhism, and it is indeed irrefutable.

I want to be stronger. I have tried every possible means with my junior brother to strengthen Buddhism and made various calculations. Isn’t it desire, not for the sake of becoming stronger?

"Ahem..."

Tathagata interrupted the embarrassment between the two of them.

Tathagata said: "What does Wutian Buddha mean?"

"My point is very simple. A single path cannot support Buddhism. Even if it grows for a while, it is doomed to decline. Therefore, we need to change the teachings, and we also need Buddhists and demons to practice together, and countless practitioners; I think there are Buddhas

The devil is also a Buddha with a mind; but without a Buddha mind, a Buddha is also a devil!"

Finally, he said: "This echoes our supreme teachings, one thought can become a Buddha. Of course, one sentence can also be added, one thought can also become a demon."

When Taichu heard this, he thought: That's it.

With Wu Tian joining the team, Buddhism will really become invincible.

Everything makes sense and there are no weaknesses.

Instead of being obsessed with appearance, focus on results.

At this point, Taichu felt that Buddhism had overcome its biggest difficulty. Even if there was a calamity later, even if Buddhism suffered losses, it would stand up quickly.

And Taichu also gave the Tathagata the Hongmeng Purple Qi, the Hongmeng Purple Qi belonging to Buddhism.

This is a given, this Hongmeng Purple Qi belongs to him.

Originally, if he had not participated, Wutian Buddha would have been controlled by Rahu, and then looted Buddhism, and then eroded the three realms.

The Purple Qi of the Grand Meng was also taken away by Saint Wutian Wuji, and the Tathagata reincarnated for the purpose of becoming a saint. After the reincarnation, he realized the opportunity of becoming a saint and searched for the ‘relics’ (Purple Purple Qi of the Grand Meng).

Now? Things are different.

Wutian Buddha is not under control, and Tathagata does not need to reincarnate. Wutian still joins the vaster Buddhism under the mediation of Tathagata.

Maybe the Buddha of the Dead, the Buddha of Joy, the Buddha of Desire, etc. will also appear in the future.

As for the return of the devil, it needs to be a real head-on confrontation, rather than Luohu's conspiracy to knock on the door of Buddhism.

At this point, Taichu left with Karma and left it to the four little guys.

really!

Soon after, Tathagata merged with Zhunti's Hongmeng purple energy and became a saint.

They even reclassified the three Buddhas: Jie Yin is the past Buddha, Tathagata is the present Buddha, and Wu Tian is the future Buddha.

Also, due to the birth of Wutian in Buddhism, the inner demons that could not be suppressed before began to become demons. They originally overturned Buddhism, but the existence of Wutian has become the same Buddha and demon as Wutian.

In less than a hundred years, the Buddha of Joy appeared, a Buddha of dual cultivation, and the Buddha of Desire also appeared.

In short, the great forces in ancient times are almost losing their sight of Buddhism?

Why is Buddhism half Buddha and half demon? What is going on?

However, it is worth noting that Buddhism seems to be stronger, with three saints.

However, Buddhism has also become weaker, including Tathagata's group, Wutian's group, and the old Buddhist group that has been followed.

They both seem to belong to Buddhism, but their influence is divided into three parts.

ps: It’s a little late. I’m so tired from selling food today.
