Chapter 21 Visiting Quidditch Training

After comforting Hermione, the two read for a while, then said good night to each other and went to their respective bedrooms to sleep.

The next morning at breakfast, Hermione sat next to Ryan and gossiped for a while about what that thing was.

"It's either extremely precious or extremely dangerous." Hermione said the analysis results she found while lying in bed last night.

"Maybe both." Ryan continued after swallowing the cereal in his mouth (still not used to bacon for breakfast, why do British people eat so greasy in the morning).

However, without other information or even knowing the size of the object, this kind of speculation is obviously futile.

In the next few days, Ryan returned to his usual daytime class. The rest of the time, he would either read books in the library with Hermione or complete homework with his classmates in the common room. However, the excitement of the night outing last time was too great.

, so he gave up his next few night outing plans.

During several walks, Ryan secretly poured the acid secreted by the tombstone moss into a corner of the outer wall of Hogwarts Castle.

He found that the acid that could quickly corrode a piece of marble the size of a door panel had no effect on the stone walls of Hogwarts. In his previous life, someone analyzed the news that every inch of Hogwarts land was subject to powerful protective magic.

It's true. It seems that Hogwarts Castle itself is much deeper than the water in the novel. So now it's better to follow your heart first.

Until the time came to Wednesday of the next week, Ryan decided to go out of the castle for a walk.

When winter approaches in the Scottish Highlands where Hogwarts is located, the sun is almost invisible and it often rains. Even though the house elves kept the fireplace burning brightly, he still felt like squatting in the castle studying all day.

Mushrooms are almost growing on my body.

So even after dinner and the sun had set, Ryan decided to go out of the castle to breathe some fresh air while all his homework was finished.

After failing to invite Hermione to go out with him (I still have a bunch of information on Transfiguration to look up, and I have an astronomy class to attend in the evening), and received a look of disdain from a real top student, Ryan could only shrug and choose someone.

Take a walk outside the castle.

Since it was Wednesday afternoon, he decided to go to the stadium to watch the academy's Quidditch team train.

After all, he has been in the magic world for so long, and he has never seen how the most popular sport in the magic world is played.

When you come to the stadium, you will find that the stadium is a huge building made of wood and colorful cloth. There are three gold poles at each end of the stadium with rings on the top. They are like small plastic ones used by children to blow soap bubbles.

sticks, except they were fifty feet tall each.

There were hundreds of chairs placed high on a ring of stands, with a few students sitting there. Looking at the stands, Ryan saw Ron's red hair.

It's good to have an acquaintance. Ryan climbed up into the stands and sat next to Ron.

"Hey, why did you come out today?" Ron asked a little strangely. Because Ryan organized everyone to discuss homework in the common room, he was quite popular and his relationship with Ron was okay.

"I have to go out for a walk," Ryan replied. Then he looked at the players flying around the field and asked Ron: "I don't know anything about Quidditch. Can you tell me

Tell me?"

Ron looked a little excited, because he was always ignored. After all, he was the youngest son in the family, but he also had a younger sister, and he was overshadowed by Harry Potter's savior aura in school. So he was looking forward to others treating him.

sense of identity.

"Quidditch is the most popular sport in the wizarding world." Ron cleared his throat and began: "The rules of Quidditch are easy to understand, although it is not easy to play. There are seven people on each side, and three of them are called

For the Chaser.”

After finishing speaking, Ron pointed to the players on the field who were fighting for a bright red ball the size of a football and said: "Look, they are the Chasers, and the ball in their hands is the Quaffle."

Then he pointed to the golden rings on the field and said to Ryan: "Chasers pass the Quaffle to each other and try to let it pass through any one of the three rings below. In this way, you can score. Every time the Quaffle passes,

A circle will get you ten points."

"Of course, each team also has a goalkeeper who prevents the other team's chasers from throwing the Quaffle into their own goal. The goalkeeper in our hospital is Captain Wood."

"Three chasers, one keeper, and what about the others?"

"Look, there are two balls in the air that can fly on their own."

Ryan saw two black balls slightly smaller than basketballs flying in the air, trying to hit everyone on the broom. However, the Weasley brothers each held a stick similar to a baseball bat and kept knocking the balls

Hit it somewhere else (as for how to tell it's the Weasley twins, the red hair is particularly conspicuous).

"These two are Bludgers. They fly around, trying to knock players off their broomsticks." Ron puffed up his chest proudly: "But my twin brother is the best batter.

, they will protect our players from being hit by Bludgers and at the same time hit the Bludgers towards the other team’s players.”

Ryan listened to the loud sound produced when the bat hit the Bludger, and asked a little worriedly: "Is this thing really not going to kill people?"

Ron scratched his head: "At least not in Hogwarts. The worst thing would be to break your jaw."

This sounds quite dangerous, Ryan thought silently.

"Finally, there is the seeker. During the official game, there will be a winged golden ball that is smaller than Neville's memory ball. It is called the Golden Snitch. It flies very fast. The job of the seeker is

Shuttle back and forth between the Chaser, Beater, Bludger and Quaffle to catch it before the other team's Seeker. If the Seeker of any team catches the Snitch, his team will win.

If you can win an additional 150 points, you are almost guaranteed to win."

Watching the players flying around on the field, Ryan felt that this sport at least seemed more exciting than basketball or football. In addition, there were not many entertainment methods in the wizarding world. No wonder Quidditch has become so popular in the entire wizarding world.

The #1 sport on the index.

Seeing that Ryan seemed to be interested in Quidditch, Ron, with the joy of Amway's success, began to introduce to Ryan the origins of the players' movements on the field, interspersed with famous Quidditch teams and the history of this sport.

Historical story.

It seems that Ron is also a capable person, but his brilliance is usually overshadowed by the people around him.

Suddenly Ryan saw a thin figure flying across the field at high speed on a broomstick.

"Is that Harry Potter?"

Ron looked at the direction of Ryan's finger: "Yes, he is the new Seeker. You can't tell others this news. He is the secret weapon of our team this year."

"I think the other teams may already know. Because when I went to the toilet after class yesterday, I heard two Hufflepuffs discussing Harry."

"What should we do?" Ron looked a little nervous.

"It's okay, I listened to their discussion and they didn't seem to believe that Harry could fly." Ryan said with a smile.

Time passed slowly while talking, and finally it became completely dark. After waiting for Harry to change clothes and come out, Ryan and Ron went back to the dormitory to get their textbooks, and then went to the astronomy tower for astronomy class.
