postscript

From uploading the first chapter on September 18, 2016, to uploading the last chapter on August 16, 2019, it took nearly 2 years and 11 months, and 4.937 million words were updated. Qi Shuai sat in front of the computer with a lot of emotions.

This was my first time writing an online novel. I had only read it before and had no writing experience at all. I didn’t know any online novel writers in real life at the time, and I didn’t look up any writing secrets or anything like that, so I just rashly started writing.

I walked into the door of online novels and started writing this novel. I didn’t think too much at first and just wrote it randomly. Later I wanted to finish it and wrote so many pages. I would like to sincerely thank everyone who subscribed.

Book friends of this book, it is your persistence that allowed Qishhuai to finish writing this book. Thank you very much.

Because this is the author's first novel, and I am not a writing genius, there are many shortcomings in this book. Now that I look back at the beginning of the novel, I feel that it is not very well written. Here again, I would like to express my gratitude to all those who read this book.

Friends of the book express their gratitude for giving a newbie a place to stay.

Next, let’s talk about what I mentioned in the last chapter, the issue of not destroying nobles and nobles. Compared with the feudal system in Europe and China during the Zhou Dynasty, and the later feudal bureaucracy in China, which one is more beneficial to the people?

It is not easy to judge. Both the nobles of the feudal system and the officials of the feudal bureaucracy will exploit the people, and some people will exploit them to death. The only clear disadvantage of the feudal system is that the people's promotion channels in peacetime are longer than those of the feudal bureaucracy.

It is much narrower. The only possibility for European civilians to change their destiny is to become a member of the church, but it is difficult to rise to the top. In the feudal bureaucracy, ordinary people can still pass examinations to become officials and become high-ranking officials.

But the feudal system is unambiguously better for the ruling class. The nobles of medieval European countries were able to ensure that their titles, territories, subjects, etc. were all passed down to future generations. If others wanted to share the profits, even kings would find it difficult to do so. For

For a king, even if he loses the throne, his whole family will not be wiped out. He can keep some territory and still be a member of the ruling class. Of course, the power of the kings of European countries is far less than that of the Chinese kings, but the Seventh Commander believes that

, ensuring the inheritance of the family, rather than the annihilation of the clan in two or three hundred years, is much more important than ensuring the power of the king.

In fact, there are examples similar to those in Europe in China. After the three families of Zhao, Wei and Han were divided into Jin at the beginning of the Warring States Period, the Jin State was not destroyed in theory, but only a small fiefdom remained, surrounded by the two families of Zhao and Wei. Although the king was no longer majestic

Although he was the leader of a big country with many sides, he could still dominate his own small fiefdom. After Emperor Xian of the Han Dynasty abdicated the throne to Cao Pi, he was granted the title of Duke of Shanyang. The fiefdom was in what is now Henan Province, with a settlement of 10,000 households.

He also had no worries about food and clothing, and his life was no worse than being a puppet in Cao Cao's hands. Moreover, the Shanyang Principality lasted for ninety years, longer than Cao Wei. If it hadn't been for the Five Husbands to disrupt China, it should have been able to last until the Jin Dynasty.

Generations perish, even longer.

Because the feudal system is more beneficial to the ruling class than the feudal bureaucracy, the Seven Marshals let the protagonist implement the enfeoffment system in the book. This is the main reason for assuming the protagonist's position and implementing the enfeoffment system, not others. This concept is in the book

It’s also mentioned, but it’s not very clear, so I’ll explain it in detail in the postscript.

Finding information to write a book is completely different from simply reading historical information. When I look at historical information, I sometimes feel that someone's decision is completely wrong, but when I actually start writing, I write about similar plots.

Sometimes, I will find that based on the information and situation the characters in the book have, I can only make that kind of decision. This also makes me re-examine the superiors at work. Sometimes the decisions that are criticized by the subordinates, except for slapping the superiors,

Besides, are there any other unavoidable reasons? Of course, as a migrant worker, I can’t just sit in the boss’s shoes, and he won’t give me a higher salary, but it’s helpful to be able to consider issues from a higher perspective.

In order to complete the work better, at least you can think of what your superiors value more, and you can choose which tasks to complete first, so as not to be scolded by your superiors.

Finally, let’s talk about the new book. Qishhuai originally wanted to upload the new book after the book is finished, but the beginning has not been written yet and there is no way to upload it. One of the reasons is that he is constantly revising and wants to make it more updated.

Better. The second reason is that Qishui is very tired. Before I started writing it myself, I never thought that writing a novel would be such an energy-consuming thing. All my energy was consumed by writing the novel. Sometimes I would sit on the computer.

Before, my mind went blank, and I had to work very hard to type on the keyboard, and my work during the day was also affected to a certain extent. I am not saying this to ask for sympathy or anything, I just want to say something, that's all.

.

Therefore, Qi Shuai will rest for a few days and slowly carve out the beginning of the new book. He may write a few extras to the book and post them later. As mentioned before, the background of the new book is the Tianbao reign of Emperor Xuanzong in the mid-Tang Dynasty, and the main story takes place

In the Western Regions. If book friends have any information about the Xuanzong period of the Tang Dynasty, please provide it. The Seven Marshals will be very grateful.

Finally, I would like to express my gratitude again to the readers who have accompanied Qishui for more than two years. Thank you for your support. Without you, there would never be "Zong Ming Xia". You are the parents of this book. Thank you.

See you in the next book. Goodbye.
