Chapter 417 A Randolph who is willing to defend

During the rest of the halftime break, Lionel Hollins taught Randolph how to easily guard Bosh.

Randolph frowned the whole time, but obviously, he didn't seem to reject Hollins' teachings despite his silence.

At the end, Hollins added: "Zach, with your true strength, Chris Bosh will never be your opponent. Don't waste your talent."

Randolph shrugged noncommittally and spread his hands. No one knew whether he listened to Hollins' words.

The atmosphere in the Madison Square Garden Arena was still lively. When Lin Yu and his teammates returned to the game, Spike Lee shouted to Lin Yu from half the court: "Come on, Lin, kill these Canadians."

people!"

This guy was very indignant and didn't know why. Lin Yu's face was filled with questions. Is this just a regular season game?

Lin Yu shook his head secretly. He must win the competition.

Looking up and focusing back on the court, the Raptors are ready. Point guard Jose Calderon, shooting guard Anthony Parker, small forward Jamario Moon, power forward Bosh, center La

Sue Nesterovich.

The Knicks started the second half as well, with Lin Yu as a guest point guard, Shannon Brown on the field, small forward Backman, power forward Randolph, and center Kwame Brown.

After two games, the Knicks' rotation has taken shape. Lin Yu, Shannon Brown, Fred Jones and Lowry equally share the playing time of the two positions on the back line. Lin Yu and Fred Jones sometimes have to play

Guest role as small forward.

As for the two forward positions, Wilson Chandler, Buckman and Randolph share the playing time equally. Finally, at the center position, Nazr Mohammed starts, Kwame Brown comes on the bench, and the playing time is equally divided.

.

During the opening period of the second half, the starting center was Kwame Brown.

The Raptors served in the backcourt, Lin Yu stayed in his own backcourt, Bosh took a step forward, and even Randolph followed.

They had just played together during the All-Star period, and Lin Yu and Bosh were relatively familiar with each other. This guy naturally had a purpose when he appeared next to Lin Yu.

"Although you did a good job, I want to win this game."

Lin Yu's face was full of surprise: "Are you talking to me?"

Bosh nodded seriously.

"I'm not confronting you, Chris, you should tell him."

Lin Yu pointed at Randolph and then followed Anthony Parker's footsteps away. He didn't see Bosh's disdainful eyes or Randolph's subsequent anger.

In the backcourt, Jose Calderon had already controlled the ball in the frontcourt, and the second half of the game officially began.

On the defensive end, excluding Randolph, the Knicks' defense was quite complete. Jose Calderon was unable to break through from Lowry's side, so he could only hold the ball for a while, find an opportunity, and pass the ball in.

It was Bosh who caught the ball. Facing Randolph's defense, he started repeated mid-range singles.

There is no back-to-the-frame action, but a triple threat directly facing the frame, taking a tentative step, trying to shake Randolph away.

Randolph didn't stumble, Bosh immediately made a breakthrough, carried Randolph two steps forward, and finally jumped up and threw the basketball.

The basketball was shot, but it hit the frame with a bang.

Lin Yu looked at Randolph in surprise. Randolph actually completely defended the ball!

Why did Bosh strike? Because Randolph was not stunned, nor was he thrown away by Bosh's breakthrough. In the end, Bosh's shot was also interfered by Randolph.

After a successful defense, Randolph had no reaction and rushed forward.

But on the sidelines, Hollins shouted: "Great defense, Zach, keep going, you can be better!"

During the Knicks' counterattack, Lin Yu started running wildly after receiving the ball. After rushing to the frontcourt, he immediately broke through and made a sudden jump shot.

With a snap, the 1-point deficit in the first half instantly turned into a 1-point lead.

The Raptors took the ball out of the backcourt and controlled it into the frontcourt.

The same as the previous round, Jose Calderon controlled the outside line for a while. If he couldn't find a chance, he could only pass the ball in and continue to hand it over to Bosh.

Bosh also continued his face-to-face singles, but this time, after two consecutive short-step breakthroughs, he chose to move his back, swaying left and right, and then turned around for a layup.

When Bosh swung his back for the second time, Randolph was already out of position.

But Lin Yu made up the defense in time and reached out to interfere, forcing Bosh to lower his center of gravity in the shot. The basketball was a little shorter and hit the edge of the basket with a bang.

"Rebounder!"

Lin Yu shouted loudly, turned around and took off the backboard.

"Good defense, counterattack!"

Hollins shouted from the sidelines. Randolph scratched his head and felt that the shout had nothing to do with him.

But Hollins pointed at him, meaning that he was talking about Randolph's defense.

There is an assistant coach named Tom Marshall on the Knicks' coaching staff, who is Dave Joerger's cousin. He is only 25 years old and is still in the learning stage. He is a little confused as to why Hollins is still praising Randolph.

After all, Randolph was already out of position defensively.

Hollins immediately explained:

"Although Zach was still out of position in the end, he had pushed Bosh to the end. Lin came to defend him. He would know with just his feet that Bosh could only turn around and layup from the right side. Therefore, Lin's interference would

So accurate and timely..."

The game lasted about five minutes in the third quarter, and the Knicks' defense became inexplicably tougher.

Relying on defense, they went from overtaking to expanding their advantage, and finally gained a 7-point lead, forcing the Raptors to call a timeout.

"Zach, great job. Chris Bosh has turned into a soft-footed shrimp. Your defense was successful."

After a pause, what Hollins did was praise Randolph.

Randolph still frowned and didn't give any feedback.

But Lin Yu already understood that Hollins' training was close to success: I really didn't expect that Zach Randolph, a gangster off the court, would actually take the soft and not the hard.

Of course, Lin Yu also knew clearly that Randolph's defense was able to explode because this guy had the ability to defend well.

What Lin Yu didn't know was that at the beginning of the second half, Bosh successfully angered Randolph.

#

Fatty Lan's defense didn't hold him back, the Knicks' defense worked hard, and the originally anxious game suddenly went smoothly.

At the end of the third quarter, the Knicks had a 10-point lead.

In the fourth quarter, the Raptors wanted to counterattack, but just like Lin Yu did with the Cavaliers, they only needed to increase their intensity slightly, and the Raptors suddenly fell to the ground.

In the end, the Knicks defeated the Raptors by 17 points, winning their second consecutive victory since the All-Star Game.

A winning streak, a Zach Randolph willing to defend, and everything seemed to be going well.
