Chapter 11 The Doctor Is Not an Ordinary Person

Pedestrians on the road were all busy finishing their work and going home. Occasionally, there were a few who wanted to be busy for a while at noon, and they laughed and laughed.

I'm a little girl who pity me. I lay on the cart scratching my head and thinking for a long time, but I couldn't figure out a way to hide it from my dad.

It was hot at noon in summer, and my dad was sweating profusely from the sun, but his expression was serious.

He tied the carriage outside the hospital, hugged me and hurried into the hospital building.

The hospital in our town only has two floors. The first floor is the outpatient clinic, and the second floor is the traditional Chinese medicine, surgery, pediatrics and nursing stations.

I rubbed my nose. The smell of disinfectant in the hospital made me want to sneeze.

The two of us came to the door of the traditional Chinese medicine doctor, and I saw an old man in a white coat inside with my unclear vision.

The doctor had his back to us and was playing with the tweed on the windowsill.

"Doctor, my girl is sick!"

"What's wrong?" The doctor said, turning around and sitting on the chair behind the desk, putting on a pair of reading glasses.

His voice sounded familiar, as if I'd heard it somewhere, but I couldn't see clearly with my eyes covered with gauze, otherwise I would have recognized it.

The doctor pointed to the chair opposite: "Let the girl sit here."

"Oh okay." My dad put me on the chair.

The doctor pointed to the small pillow bag on the table and said, "Little girl, put your hand up."

I pinched my clothes in panic and looked at my dad hesitantly, but I couldn't see anything.

My dad pushed my shoulder and urged me: "Hurry up, girl, and be obedient."

I could only put my hand up reluctantly.

The doctor used the middle three fingers of his right hand to press the pulse on my wrist. I thought to myself, he would be able to tell immediately that I didn't have diarrhea, and my dad would definitely give me a question!

But who would have expected that after the doctor pressed for a while, he leaned back and said with a smile: "It's nothing serious. I just have some trouble with my spleen and stomach. I'll just prescribe some medicine and it will be fine."

"What medicine should I prescribe, doctor?"

"I'll write it for you. You can take it to the first floor to pay, then go to the pharmacy opposite the checkout to pick up the medicine. When you come back, I'll tell you how to take it."

"Hey, okay." My dad walked away with the wind at his feet.

This wave of operations sounded silly to me, and I couldn't help but touch my chubby belly...

Could it be possible... I'm really upset!

"Girl, it's not a good habit to lie to others." The doctor's voice sounded above my head.

I jumped up and stayed far away from him, staring in his direction with my eyes wide open in disbelief: "You, you know I'm lying to my dad?"

The doctor laughed and said nothing.

I frowned, but how did he know that I was talking about having a stomachache?

The doctor seemed to have figured out what I was thinking, and he still said cheerfully: "Most children pretend to be sick, either because they have a headache or a stomachache."

I was exposed by his lie, and my face turned hot with embarrassment.

The doctor smiled again and said, "Girl, are you in trouble?"

…!!

How does this doctor know everything? Even if he knows that I am evil? Does he know what to expect? Or is he always peeking at my house?

Obviously, the latter guess is impossible because I have never seen him at home.

I stumbled up to him, grabbed the hem of his clothes and begged him: "Doctor, can you not tell my father? If he finds out, he will definitely tell my mother, and my mother will make me kneel in the ancestral hall."

"Is your mother's name Feng Guizhi?"

"You know my mother."

"I know, who around here doesn't know that there is a very capable goddess in Song Village, but girl, why don't you dare to let your mother know?"

"I...my mother won't let me get involved in things like ghosts and gods." The doctor's words were so seductive that I unconsciously told the story of myself and my second uncle rescuing Aunt Li.

The more I talk about it, the sadder I feel. Now I finally know why my second uncle told me not to lie, because when I tell a lie, I have to use a second or third lie to make up for it. Hey! I’m so tired!

But the doctor was not surprised at all, and he was not afraid of ghosts like others. He also gave me a mysterious feeling.

The doctor pondered for a moment and said: "Girl, it's true that the hanged man is a brat, but it's not a solution if you keep dragging him on like this. If you can't deal with him, you will still be dragged to death by him."

"What?" I was frightened by him, "But I don't know how to deal with it! I can't tell my mother yet."

He rubbed my head: "If you believe me, do it my way. When you get home later, you can ask your dad to buy you a new red washbasin, a new mirror, a ball of red thread and a needle.

, remember to buy new ones.”

I was confused when I heard: "Why are you buying these? I have them all at home."

"Your home is not good, it must be newly opened and not yet contaminated with popularity. At night, you fill the basin with water, put the mirror in the water, and then put on the needle and thread. When the hanged man comes, you

You can see where she is through the mirror in the water, and pin the needle and thread on her waist."

"Hmm, what next?" I couldn't explain the reason, but I had an inexplicable trust in this doctor and wrote down his words word for word.

"After you have done this, keep quiet and blow air with her as usual. When she leaves the next morning, you will follow the red line to find her grave, then dig a ditch around her grave and pour water into the ditch.

Plant ash, the key is to leave a hole, and after she comes out, immediately use plant ash to seal the hole tightly."

I carefully remembered every word the doctor said. No matter if it worked or not, I would know after trying it first. If it works, I would have learned a skill!

My mood immediately turned from cloudy to sunny.

My dad came back after a while, and the doctor prescribed Ginseng Guipi Pills to me, and told my dad to give me two pills, and give me one pill per meal, or two meals a day.

I asked my dad to buy a red washbasin, a mirror and some needlework.

Although my dad was wondering why I bought these, it was probably because they couldn't accompany me these days and felt indebted to me, so he bought them all with a wave of his hand, which saved me from bothering him.

My dad also bought me a lot of snacks and told me to eat them when my stomach feels better.

"Dad, when can my gauze be removed?" I anxiously picked up a piece of gauze. If I could see with my eyes, I could see what the doctor looked like. I'm sure I had seen him before today.

My dad patted my hand down and said, "The doctor said it will last for five days. Today is the fourth day. Let's do it tomorrow."

"Is this the same doctor who treated my eyes?"

"Yeah, why do you ask?"

I shook my head wilfully. No wonder the fact that I have snake eyes didn't spread around. Maybe it's because the snake eyes are in my eye sockets and they are almost like human eyes?

But what I am sure of is that this doctor is no ordinary person.

Should I tell my mother?

I thought about it and decided not to tell him. He already knew about me and the Hanged Man. What if he leaked it to me?

"Girl, dad took you to have a meal in the town, so I didn't go home to eat. There happened to be a new restaurant nearby."

"Okay!" As soon as I talked about eating, I forgot all my worries!

But we met someone in the restaurant who shouldn't have been there...
