Chapter 3 The last one

It is well known that Hogwarts has four major houses, and each house has its corresponding symbol and culture.

Noah knew all these things, but when he actually walked into the hall of Hogwarts, he was still shocked by what he saw.

The suspended candle lights in the hall complement each other, various ghosts are floating around, and students wearing the uniforms of the four major colleges are communicating quietly.

All of this was very familiar to Noah, it was exactly the same as in his memory, but when he joined in, everything felt different.

Under the leadership of Professor McGonagall, they quickly passed through the corridor and arrived at the front of the hall.

There were about 240 to 250 students in the same batch as Noah, but these young wizards were quickly dispersed into each college, so that each college would have about 50 students.

To the new life of sixty people.

And the thing that assigns each of them a future college is a dirty hat!

Noah didn't know what to say about this. A hat would decide the future. Noah didn't know if there was something wrong with the minds of these wizards.

It's just that this is a tradition, and Noah feels that he can only abide by it.

Sometimes tradition is a very scary thing, and following tradition is also a very scary thing. Noah was not stupid enough to say anything like "this tradition is not good" to these people.

"I just hope that this ghost hat can't really see the inner world, otherwise I will be regarded as a monster and then analyzed and studied."

Noah complained softly in his heart. To be honest, he was really worried.

It's hard to explain his origin clearly, and Noah didn't want something so painful to happen to him.

"Don't worry, this hat can't tell anything. You can even decide which college you want to go to."

Just when Noah was struggling, the system that frequently crashed suddenly spoke up.

"Aha? Is that so?" Noah was a little surprised, but thinking about it, this seems to be a normal operation.

After all, it is a system that can transport itself to other worlds. If it does not even have this ability, then it will be a disgrace to the system family!

Well, although Noah thinks it's quite embarrassing, that property panel is simply ugly.

"Yes, of course you can also choose to block the memories you don't want it to see. Finally, don't think randomly. You and I are bound, and I know everything you think."

"..."

Noah touched his head. This was the first time he discovered that his system, which often crashed, was still somewhat temperamental.

But soon Noah didn't have time to think so much, because Dumbledore had already stood up and was about to speak.

Not only Noah, but all the other little wizards in the same group with him also calmed down obediently. They all looked up at the white-haired old man honestly.

Dumbledore smiled slightly, and then said slowly: "Hello children, I think Professor McGonagall has already said the welcome speech, so I will simply say some more important things."

Professor McGonagall gave a welcome speech?

Noah had a question mark on his face. When he got off the train, he still looked like he was still awake, so there was some memory loss in this aspect.

But it doesn’t matter, Noah is here to learn something, not to listen to the welcome speech.

"I have something to announce in advance before the semester starts."

Dumbledore continued: "The first point is that no students are allowed to enter the Forbidden Forest. Oh, and the second point is that the administrator Mr. Filch asked me to remind everyone that anyone who does not want to die miserably, please do not enter the Forbidden Forest.

The corridor on the right side of the building. Thank you!"

The corridor on the right hand side of the fourth floor? Isn't that where a dog with three heads is kept?

Noah secretly thought, does this count as giving information in advance?

Or is it specifically to guard against those mischievous little lions when going on adventures?

Noah didn't know, but he knew that Dumbledore specifically said this, so I'm afraid someone would really try it.

Taking a casual look around, Noah noticed that many students at the Gryffindor table were whispering about something.

There were even a lot of little guys discussing this matter around Noah. After hearing it for a while, Noah lost interest. They thought there were some treasures there.

"Okay everyone, please be quiet." At this time, Professor McGonagall said, holding a roster and a dirty-looking hat in her hand.

"Now whoever I call will come up. I will put the sorting hat on you, and then you will be assigned to your respective houses. Do you understand?"

Mag looked at the freshmen who didn't say a word, and some were even immersed in the surprise just now, and directly picked up the roster and started reading.

"First one: Hermione Granger."

"What?"

A girl not far in front of Noah suddenly called out in a low voice, and then Noah noticed that she walked up with some forced composure.

Shaking his head, Noah didn't bother to look at the final sorting results. To be honest, it was quite similar to what happened in the movie, because in the movie Hermione was the first person to go up to the sorting house.

"It seems that it must be Gryffindor." Noah thought secretly.

Sure enough, soon the dirty hat shouted in a high voice: "Gryffindor!"

Hermione took off her hat with a smile on her face and put it on the table, then turned and ran towards the Gryffindor table.

At the same time, the Gryffindor table also gave the new girl warm applause to welcome their new classmates.

With Hermione making a start, the rest became very easy.

One by one, these students followed Professor McGonagall's roll call and walked to the stage in an orderly manner to accept the class placement. Just as Noah remembered, the class placement did not seem to cause any strange events due to his appearance.

Basically, everyone goes to find their own mother, and each goes home.

For example, Ron and Harry still went to Gryffindor, and Malfoy and his two younger brothers still went to Slytherin.

Harry Potter's being assigned to Gryffindor still caused cheers from the students, but of course that was limited to Gryffindor students.

As for the professors' reactions, they were actually quite dull, except for Dumbledore who was really happy.

After almost an hour, it was finally Noah's turn. At this time, Noah's legs were weak from waiting. God knows why he was the last one!

"What the hell, I'm the last one? I've been standing there for an hour!"
