Chapter 40 I've Never Been Alone

Quirrell's current mood is not very good. To be precise, neither he nor Voldemort's mood is that good.

They quietly passed through all the obstacles and arrived at the legendary place where the magic stone was stored. Fortunately, they tried to find other ways to get there, otherwise they might have discovered the traps along the way.

ridiculous.

But now, what is placed in front of them is a huge mirror!

This mirror is very gorgeous. It reaches the height of the ceiling, has a golden frame, and has two claw-shaped legs at the bottom. Of course they know what this mirror is called, it is the Mirror of Erised.

The Mirror of Erised can allow people to see their most urgent and strongest desires deep in their hearts.

But to be honest, after looking at it for a long time, the two of them did see what they wanted deep in their hearts, but they didn't find what they most hoped to find at all!

That's the Philosopher's Stone. Quirrell went through a lot of trouble to get to this ghost place. He even thought of countless ways to avoid those agencies before he got here.

But there's nothing here, just a big mirror!

"Have we been deceived?"

Quirrell couldn't help but think that he did feel that he had been deceived.

Because there was nothing he wanted here, only a big mirror that seemed to make him feel a little broken inside!

Soon, Quirrell heard the sound of a series of explosions coming from behind him.

Obviously this was to remind Quirrell that someone had come in, but Rocky didn't dare to leave at all, he had no choice!

God knows what would have happened if he hadn't found the Philosopher's Stone!

I'm afraid those damn Death Eaters won't let me go, right?

Quirrell smiled bitterly. It was a good thing that he could still see the Death Eaters. It only meant that he would still be alive in the future. But God knows what the guy who was attached to his body would do to him if he didn't find the Sorcerer's Stone!

The footsteps behind him got closer and closer, and Quirrell's expression became more and more serious.

But when he saw through the reflection of the Mirror of Erised that the people coming in behind him were actually a group of students, not Professor Dumbledore or the like, he suddenly felt a little relaxed inside.

Fortunately, it's just a bunch of kids!

Quirrell felt that he was very lucky, even though he could see clearly that the person coming was headed by Noah Fenier, the best in the entire academy, and he was in the same academy as him, and he even knew that this guy was good at sharpshooting.

Such a terrible curse!

But so what?

This is just a child!

Quirrell knows how good he is, and his magic is not much stronger than that of a student who has just graduated from a senior year. This is a problem that the wizarding world has been unable to solve for a long time.

It seems that the strength and amount of magic power mainly depends on talent, and they have no ability to solve it at all.

However, as a former Ravenclaw, Rocky is still very knowledgeable, otherwise he would not have reached the level of Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts.

The rich knowledge and theory of magic, as well as various magic techniques, allow Rocky to deal with a lot of troubles.

As for these little devils?

Quirrell really didn't take it seriously, but Rocky didn't rush to take action. He noticed that Harry had also come to this ghost place, which made him feel happy again.

If I can't find the Philosopher's Stone, does that mean Harry can't find it?

As the person who tricked the Dark Lord to death, and the only person who survived from the Dark Lord, Quirrell believed that Harry must have his own extraordinary abilities, and maybe he could really help him find the Philosopher's Stone!

"It's you!"

When Noah and his party walked in and saw a statue-like person standing in front of a magic mirror, they suddenly became a little nervous.

But when Harry saw clearly who this guy was through the magic mirror, he was suddenly surprised.

"Professor Quirrell? Why is it you? I thought it was Snape!"

"Yeah, he does look like a bad guy, doesn't he?"

Quirrell turned around expressionlessly. He looked very calm, and his voice was also very cold.

In his opinion, these brats would be dead later, and he didn't care what he said to them.

"It turns out it's you... No wonder." Noah already knew it was Rocky, but he had to pretend to be awake from a dream: "With him here, who would doubt the poor, stammering

Where is Professor Quirrell?"

"You are very smart, Mr. Finir." Quirrell showed a rare smile: "As a Ravenclaw, I am proud of you. But you really shouldn't learn from these reckless Gryffindors, because this

It will kill you."

"Thank you for your advice, but if I remember correctly, you should have been taught by Professor Flitwick, right?"

"Yes, it is indeed Professor Flitwick. I respect him very much."

"Then I wonder if you still remember what he once said: Don't let danger and fear corrode your heart and fall into darkness?"

"snort!"

Quirrell's face looked a little ugly. He really wanted to yell at Noah: "You know what the heck!"

But his reason told him not to yell, and there was no need to even answer this question!

At this point, it's useless for Rocky to say anything, not to mention there's a guy on him!

"Well, it seems you don't want to answer this question. By the way, I heard that Harry's broom went out of control during the Quidditch match. Sorry, I don't have any interest in Quidditch, so I didn't go to watch. Ha.

Leigh once said that it was Professor Snape who did it, but now it seems to be you, right?"

"Yes, it was me. If damn Snape hadn't stopped me, believe me, Harry would be dead now!"

"What?"

Harry and Ron both had shocked looks on their faces. They never expected that Professor Snape, whom they always thought was a bad guy, would actually be the one who saved Harry!

This is incredible!

"Nothing is impossible. If it weren't for Snape's magic being too powerful, even if he recited the counter spell, it wouldn't be effective!" Quirrell snorted coldly, and the previous smile disappeared without a trace.

"You see, Harry. I told you that Professor Snape would not attack you. Facts have proved that I was right." Noah shrugged indifferently. He already knew that Snape had always been there.

Where is the man who protects Harry?

"But speaking of which, Mr. Finnell, I always thought Harry was my biggest threat. But now I realize that you and your friends are my biggest threat, especially after Halloween!"

"Oh? Really? Should I say it's an honor?"

For some reason, Quirrell suddenly brought the topic back to Noah, or to be precise, Noah and his group.

This made Kate and others a little strange, but soon they took it for granted. Quirrell's words had already made them realize a lot of things.

"It seems that you released the Halloween monster."

"Yes, but unfortunately I was also suspected by Professor Snape. He never believed me again, and he never let me act alone again."

Having said this, Quirrell turned around and looked at the huge magic mirror again, with a strange curve in his mouth: "But unfortunately, I have never been alone."
