Chapter One Hundred and Fortieth

When the morning light entered the room, Qi Yue and the doctors were taking turns eating.

"You are stupid, what are you doing here?" Qi Yue said to Chang Yuncheng, who was sitting opposite, while he was busy eating.

She shouted rice and dropped the rice grains as she said this.

Chang Yuncheng put down his chopsticks and frowned at her.

"What does it look like! Swallow it before you speak." He shouted in a low voice.

Qi Yue curled her lips and swallowed.

"Don't make trouble here. Find a place to rest and talk to your grandmother." She said.

Chang Yuncheng handed over a soup bowl and seemed not to hear her words.

Qi Yue suddenly felt embarrassed to pick her up.

"I'm done eating," she said, putting down her chopsticks.

"How can you eat so fast?" Chang Yuncheng frowned.

In the past, when I was busy at work, the instant noodles I ate were not soaked yet, so that was called eating quickly.

Qi Yue smiled and said it was okay, and hurriedly walked out of the house, stopping again before going out.

"Don't stay here anymore," she said again.

Chang Yuncheng turned to look at her.

"Are you concerned about me?" he asked.

"Of course I care about you." Qi Yue replied immediately and snorted, "I was hoping that if I couldn't cure it, I would be surrounded by your grandmother's family, so you would carry me out of here."

After saying that, he opened the curtain and left in a hurry.

"This stinky woman..." Chang Yuncheng whispered, but this time he didn't have a black face, but smiled. At first, he just curved the corners of his mouth slightly, but found that he couldn't hold back the smile. The smile seemed to come from the bottom of his heart.

It came out and overflowed uncontrollably. In the end, he could only avoid grinning by taking big mouthfuls of food.

The doctors here simply ate and came over.

Some were thinking deeply, some were writing prescriptions, and most of them were standing beside Qi Yue.

"For this disease, the most important thing is to stop bleeding, reduce intracranial pressure, and avoid edema." Qi Yue said, while looking through the records made during this day and night, "I can only point you in this direction, but how to use the medicine specifically is

It’s up to you.”

It is really strange to recognize the disease but not know how to take medicine. However, now is not the time to think about this matter. The doctors nodded and continued to consult and study medicine.

"Young Madam, Young Madam." A familiar female voice came from outside the door.

Qi Yue suddenly beamed with joy.

"Aru." She shouted hurriedly.

"Young madam, let me disinfect and change clothes first." Aru said outside the door and heard footsteps moving to the side.

Great, finally a helper came. Qi Yue breathed a sigh of relief and clenched his fists.

When it got dark again, the torches in the yard were burning again, and the people in the house were still busy.

"Thirty-six degrees three..." Aru reported the body temperature again while recording it.

"Heart rate 10 beats, no murmur..." Qi Yue put away the stethoscope and leaned over the baby again to perform artificial respiration.

After reviewing all the data, Qi Yue reported and discussed the condition with the doctors here. After listening to her analysis, the doctors conducted further interviews and then readjusted the prescription.

"Add and subtract Gastrodia Uncaria and Rehmannia Polygonatum..." one of the doctors said, looking at the others, "Do you think it can be used?"

Everyone thought for a moment and most nodded.

"Okay, let's boil the medicine." The doctor took up his pen and wrote the prescription.

Old Mrs. Xie has been persuaded to come to the house, but it is the house here, not her own house.

"A girl is here? Come to deliver the medicine box?" she asked.

Brother Zhao nodded hurriedly.

"That's her... assistant." Chang Yuncheng explained.

Assistant? What does it mean?

The people in the room were puzzled.

"I have already taken a disciple." In the end, the eldest master was knowledgeable and explained to everyone. He nodded, "You can take a disciple at such a young age. It shows that you are really powerful."

"Whether it's serious or not, we have to wait until it's cured." The second master said, looking at Mrs. Xie with a bit of flattery.

Old lady Xie glared at him.

"Just because she dares to accept it so openly, she is very powerful." She said slowly.

The second master flattered and slapped the horse's hoof, coughed awkwardly and stood aside.

"She has always been brave." Chang Yuncheng said with a slight smile.

Everyone in the room looked at him. They were all human beings. If they couldn't see that Chang Yuncheng was satisfied with his wife, then he would be a fool.

It's really strange. Don't you obviously hate this beggar's wife?

Mrs. Xie naturally understood. She glanced at Chang Yuncheng with a complicated look on her face. She didn't say what she wanted to say in the end.

"Is your mother still in Anjia?" She turned to ask Brother Zhao.

Brother Zhao nodded.

"I went to invite her, but mother just refused to come back..." he said, feeling helpless and moved, "Doctor An said, it's okay to leave her there, they will take good care of her."

Old lady Xie nodded and said no more.

The room fell into silence again, and everyone looked outside unconsciously, pricking up their ears, expecting to hear the hopeless good news.

The night seemed to pass in the blink of an eye.

The torch that had been burning all night looked much darker in the morning light.

The girl who was dozing against the pillar accidentally touched her head.

"Mom, don't hit me, I don't dare anymore." She closed her eyes and subconsciously said while holding her head.

When I opened my eyes, I realized there was no one in front of me.

The little girl felt a sense of joy in escaping a disaster. She grinned, rubbed her nose and stood up.

Just then a shout came from the house.

"Young madam, the temperature has risen! The temperature has risen!"

When Ah Ru shouted these words, tears almost came out.

"Really, let me take a look." Qi Yue ran over from the other side and took the thermometer from the trembling Aru's hand.

The three doctors on duty shook their heads, and one of them stretched out his hand to explore the baby's body.

Isn't this the same thing that can tell...what's the body temperature? Is it just used for this? It's such a delicate thing, I don't know what kind of gemstone it is made of...

No matter how carefully I touched the baby's body, which was gradually getting warmer, the doctors couldn't help but exhale, and they all felt their heartbeats speeding up. Really...did it really happen?

Is it really possible? Can it really cure the incurable diseases that Dr. An said are incurable?

The doctors who were taking turns said they were taking a break outside, but in fact no one had slept well. When they heard this, they all rushed in.

"Shh, shh," the doctor on duty here waved to them, "keep it empty...the air is flowing...don't crowd..."

After spending two days together, they were able to talk about this woman's unintelligible terms at any time.

"The situation is much better." Qi Yue took off her stethoscope, looked at the numbers on the blood pressure monitor, and finally raised her head and said to the expectant doctors.

Obviously this woman seemed to have done nothing, but she was the only one who said something that everyone felt was the final word.

What a strange feeling...

As she said these words, some doctors couldn't help but clench their fists and beam with joy. Although those who were calm did not make any small movements, they could not hide the excitement in their eyes.

Mrs. Xie was sitting in the living room of An's family, leaning on the pillow, with a blanket on her legs, her head in her hands and she nodded in a daze when she woke up. She moved her body slightly, and the girl next to her was about to cry.

"Madam, let's go back. What will happen if you survive?" The two girls begged, hugging her legs.

Mrs. Xie sat upright.

"I won't go back," she said decisively, "I've been sitting here for so long, I don't believe it..."

Accompanying these words, there was a trembling sound outside the door.

"..Madam...Madam...there's news at home..." A boy crawled in.

Mrs. Xie stood up suddenly.

News from home…

Is Brother Hao... gone?

Mrs. Xie stretched out her hand and pressed her heart. She couldn't bear it after staying up all day and night, and she couldn't even breathe.

Before the boy could finish his sentence, he saw the lady fainted on the chair and howled immediately.

It was beneficial to stay at An's house, and Mrs. Xie was quickly treated.

"My Brother Hao..." Before she even opened her eyes, she gasped and cried.

If he had known that this moment would happen, Doctor An sighed.

"My condolences, madam..." he said in a deep voice.

Before he finished speaking, the young man who almost scared the lady to death and got into trouble and was still kneeling on the ground spoke hurriedly.

"No, no, madam, the young master is fine..." he shouted loudly, "the young master is awake..."

The tone of Mrs. Xie's crying voice suddenly took a turn, and she almost lost her breath again.

"What...what did you say?" She sat up suddenly and looked at the boy and asked.

Doctor An was also stunned and looked at the boy over there.

"The young master is fine. The young master has woken up. The old lady asked the madam to hurry up..." The young man raised his voice again and said. Before he could say the word "go back," he saw his wife standing up as soon as she stood on the ground. "No need."

The girl helped him and walked out quickly.

"..Go back..." The boy said the rest of the words. Seeing that the girls were all following them out, he got up quickly, held his hat and ran out to follow them.

The group of people left in a blink of an eye.

Dr. An still maintained his short diagnosis and treatment posture, staring blankly at the door.

Young Master...are you awake?

Did he hear it correctly?

He regained his composure and hurriedly chased after him. Madam Xie's carriage was already driving outside the door.

"Are you saying that your young master is awake or dead?" Dr. An asked loudly.

"Bah, your young master just died." A boy turned around and spat, "Our young master is alive and well..."

After saying that, he watched the carriage speed away and hurriedly chased after it.

Doctor An stood there in shock.

This is impossible...how is this possible!

"Father." He turned around and ran towards the inner house. He was so excited that he couldn't help shouting out.

"What?" Dr. An, who was sitting at his desk reading, was also shocked when he heard this, "Alive?"

"Yes, that's what the boy from the Xie family said..." Dr. An's nose was covered with fine sweat again.

Old Doctor An put down the book in his hand.

"Have you seen it yourself?" he asked.

"Not yet, I...I...I'll go right away..." Dr. An said hurriedly.

He turned around and hurriedly went out.

The house became quiet again.

"Cure? How is it possible!" Dr. An murmured, grabbing a piece of paper on the table and balling it up with a complicated expression, "Absolutely impossible! This disease cannot be cured! It cannot be cured!"

"

The more he spoke, the more excited he became and his expression became distorted, and he swept away the pen, ink, paper, and inkstone books on the table.

The sound of crashing in the room alerted the servants outside, but no one came in. It seemed that everyone was used to these noises.

Old Doctor An swept away the furnishings on the table, pushed them to the table, grabbed the porcelain on the side cabinet and smashed it until the floor was in a mess and he slowly calmed down.

"Come here," he said.

Only then did two young men come in with their heads lowered and called "Master" outside the door. They stepped forward and pushed the chair he was sitting on. The chair rolled and pushed Old Doctor An out.

As the chair moves, the gown flutters, revealing Dr. An’s empty legs and feet.*** (To be continued)
