Chapter IX Interrogation

There was a black Mitsubishi car parked at the school gate. Gutian asked Geng Chaozhong to sit next to him and then started the car.

The atmosphere in the car was a bit dull. Except for a few words when they first got on the bus, Gu Tian never said a word along the way. Geng Chaozhong glanced sideways at Gu Tian's rigid face and finally closed his mouth.

When the car arrived in front of a three-story building, Gu Tian stopped the car and said:

"arrive."

"Oh." Geng Chaozhong agreed, and walked forward with the embarrassment of an ordinary person entering the police station. However, after he saw the sign at the door clearly, he couldn't help but question: "

This doesn’t seem to be Minzheng Town?”

There are several large Japanese characters written on the sign: Tokyo Prefectural Police Town.

"right here."

Gu Tian's eyes did not linger at all, and he got out of the car. Geng Chaozhong could only follow Gu Tian and walk in.

There was almost no one in the building, except for the black-clad policeman standing guard at the door. The only echo of the footsteps of the two people seemed to be left in the empty corridor, and Gu Tian's short and powerful footsteps made the atmosphere even more solemn.

"come in!"

Gu Tian came to a room with an "Interrogation Room" sign and motioned for Geng Chaozhong to enter.

"I'm not a prisoner, why are you bringing me here?!" Geng Chaozhong suddenly stopped and looked at the blue iron door with a pale face. Behind the iron door, there was a pungent smell of formalin.

out.

"It's just a routine inquiry. What, are you going to waste my time?" Gu Tian stood aside and said coldly.

Geng Chaozhong's timid eyes flitted across Gu Tian's face, and finally he stepped into this very gloomy-looking house.

"Sit here."

Gu Tian pointed to a chair in the center of the room. In fact, except for the desk opposite the chair, there was almost nothing else in the room.

Geng Chaozhong sat on the chair obediently, but his eyes wandered around, never daring to make eye contact with Gu Tian.

"Haha." Gu Tian smiled, he pulled out the chair behind his desk and sat down, staring at Geng Chaozhong without saying a word.

"What do you want to ask?" Geng Chaozhong was a little frightened by Gu Tian's gaze.

"Tell me about your relationship with the Blue Clothes Club." A sneer appeared on Gutian's lips.

"Blue Clothes Club?" Geng Chaozhong seemed a little confused, but he immediately came to his senses, his body shook suddenly, his lips trembled and he said in a voice: "I don't know anyone from the Blue Clothes Club."

"So, you know about the Lanyi Club?" Gu Tian's eyes were fixed on Geng Chaozhong's face, not letting go of every detail on his body.

"I know, no, I don't know." Geng Chaozhong stammered in reply.

"Then I will treat you as a member of the Blue Clothes Club."

Gu Tian said something slowly, then stood up and seemed to turn around and leave.

"I know!" Geng Chaozhong's voice came from behind.

"Oh? Then tell me, why did the Blue Clothes Club send you to Japan?" Tanita turned around.

"I know the Lanyi Club, but I have nothing to do with the Lanyi Club! I'm just a teacher." Geng Chaozhong's face was filled with fear.

"Then tell me what the Blue Clothes Club does." Gu Tian walked up to Geng Chaozhong, bent down, and stared closely into Geng Chaozhong's eyes.

"It's a spy organization, they, they are terrible..." Geng Chaozhong answered tremblingly.

"You said you didn't know anyone from the Blue Clothes Club, but," Gutian turned around, walked back to the desk again, picked up a stack of information from the desk, flipped through it and said:

"We found out that you only taught at Jinling Women's University for half a year. You left the school starting in July 2032. Where have you been in the past two years?"

"I went to Hong Kong, and a businessman there hired me because my English was better. He was doing business with the British and needed me to translate for him." Geng Chaozhong replied.

"Really? What's the name of that Hong Kong businessman?" Gu Tian looked at Geng Chaozhong with interest.

"My name is Luo Xing. He gave me 200 yuan a month, so I took a leave of absence without pay at the Women's University and went to work for him." Geng Chaozhong's tone became much more fluent.

"Oh? A university professor has a good salary and a high status. Why did you give up such a privileged position and go to Hong Kong to work as a translator?" Tanita asked.

"No reason, I just want to make more money. Houses in Nanjing are too expensive, not to mention I'm still young. After making some money in Hong Kong, it's not too late to return to Nanjing to settle down." Geng Chao looked at Gu Tian loyally.

"You're lying!" Gu Tian stood up and glared at Geng Chaozhong, "A university professor earns seventy dollars a month. What job in Hong Kong can make you earn two hundred dollars a month?! More

For you to abandon such a privileged and respected job?"

"It's true," Geng Chaozhong said with a sad face, "That boss Luo is in the tobacco business. I really didn't lie to you."

"Opium?" Gutian was stunned.

"Yes, he is a silk merchant on the surface, but in fact he imports tobacco from India and sells it to Guangdong and South China. If you don't believe it, you can go to Hong Kong to check." Geng Chaozhong was shaking all over and seemed about to fall off his chair.

.

"You are good at lying," Gu Tian walked up to Geng Chaozhong again, his huge head close to Geng Chaozhong's face, "but we have already investigated clearly that you did not go to Hong Kong at all, but stayed in Nanjing and joined the

Nanjing’s secret service organization Blue Clothes Club!”

"It's unfair," Geng Chaozhong suddenly collapsed on the ground, "If you don't believe it, you can check it out. I really went to Hong Kong. I have no power, how can I be a spy!"

"Oh? You don't have the strength to tie a chicken? How can I see that there are calluses on your hands from holding a gun?" Gu Tian grabbed Geng Chaozhong's hand.

"I got this from writing. I don't know how to shoot!" Geng Chaozhong looked at the calluses between his index finger and thumb and wailed.

"How can writing create such thick calluses?" Gutian looked doubtful.

"Really, if you don't believe me, look at other people's hands. As long as you write with a pen all the time, you will definitely get calluses!" Geng Chaozhong replied with a helpless face.

"Haha, you are still lying when you are about to die," Gu Tian suddenly had a pistol in his hand and pressed it hard on Geng Chaozhong's forehead, "Tell me, what is your mission in Japan?! Don't tell me, now.

I'll kill you."

But Gutian didn't get any answer. He only heard a grunt. Geng Chaozhong rolled his eyes, swallowed, and fainted.

"waste!"

Gu Tian stretched out his hand and touched Geng Chaozhong's lips. He stood up helplessly. Just as he was about to turn around and go out, there was a burst of applause from the door. A man walked in and said loudly:

"Tanida-kun, your interrogation skills are getting better and better!"

"Hey, Watanabe-san, why are you here too?"

Gu Tian put away his gun and looked respectfully at the young man in front of him who had just walked through the door.
