Chapter 393: The Invisible

The huge box carriage was speeding on the muddy road. It took at least four days to travel from Lianyucheng to Broken Snow City. With Chris's current situation, holding on for one more day would be the blessing of the God of Miracles.

In the early morning of the third day, Chris suddenly lost his breath. Fortunately, a doctor had learned cardiopulmonary resuscitation from Irma. After several rounds of rescue, Chris was finally pulled back from the hands of death.

After Chris regained his breath, he did not regain consciousness. Sandos took a blanket and carefully covered Chris. He breathed, rubbed Chris' cold hands, and then suddenly raised his head, with a fierce look in his eyes.

Look at Edmund.

The knight seemed to have gone crazy, and his behavior became more and more bizarre, which made Edmund, who was deeply anxious, even more irritable.

"What are you looking at?" Edmund asked unbearably, "Knight Sandos, do you think I will hurt the prince?"

"Stop talking," Sandos looked around, "I'm listening to the devil's breathing. That sound is right next to my ears. Did you hear it?"

"I can't hear anything! Our situation is bad enough. I'm begging you, please be kind and stop tormenting me!"

"I heard it too," a doctor murmured. "It was indeed the devil's breathing. The sound was very rapid. I heard it very clearly. The devil is beside us, but we can't see it..."

As he spoke, the doctor burst into tears, and an angry Edmund pulled out the dagger: "Shut your mouth right now, or I will cut your throat."

"Put down the knife first, Your Majesty the Marquis," Sandos tried to calm Edmund down. "Things may not be as simple as we think. Our prince may be targeted by some kind of alien, or he may be under the influence of someone else."

Some kind of curse."

Edmund grabbed his hair fiercely, looked up to the sky and sighed: "Do well, please do well. Let the prince arrive at Shattering Snow City safely. There must be someone there who can save him."

After arriving at Zhilin City, the smooth asphalt road made the carriage go much faster. Edwina put them on the fastest horses and allowed them to arrive at Broken Snow City before dark.

Reggie is meeting the envoy from Fengyan Kingdom in the castle. This envoy is a bit difficult to deal with. He got the news from somewhere and wants a magical potion that can kill pests.

Reggie had to consider this matter carefully, but the other party's screams of "Emperor Reginald" made Reggie's bones weak and his muscles numb. For a while, Reggie felt that he had put on a crown and flown into the clouds. But wait.

When he heard the news about Chris, he immediately fell off the clouds.

He handed the envoy to Nipoli and ran all the way to the hospital. Camila was working hard to treat her. Looking at her sweat and painful expression, he knew that the situation was very difficult.

"The poison has spread all over the body," Camila wiped her sweat, "I wish I had come here a day earlier. This, this is really, really difficult..."

"My favorite doctor, you must be able to think of a way." Reggie was about to step forward, but Modessa grabbed his collar from behind and threw him aside.

"Are you crazy? Damn it!" The angry Reggie got up from the ground. He was about to get angry, but found Modessa covering his arms and looking around.

His arm was bleeding. At that moment, he blocked an attack for Reggie.

People looked at Modesa in surprise. No one knew where his wound came from. The air in the ward seemed to be still. Modesa watched for a while, then rushed to Reggie's side, and then let out a cry

moan.

There was another wound on his leg, and blood immediately spurted out, making Modessa scream, which showed how unbearable the pain was.

Sandos pulled out his sword and whispered: "Then the devil is coming, right? I knew it was coming, where is it?"

Modesa didn't have time to answer Sandos's question. He gritted his teeth and pulled out the dagger and said to everyone: "Protect the lord, the opponent's weapons are poisonous, surround the lord!"

As soon as he finished speaking, there was another scar on Modesa's face. He swung the dagger with all his strength, and a piece of blood appeared in the air.

In the bloody light, people saw a woman dressed in white. In less than a breath, the woman's figure disappeared again.

"She's gone, that devil is gone, gone..." Sandos was muttering to himself, and Modesa's eyes rolled back and fell to the ground. Thanks to his extraordinary physique, it would have been too scary for anyone else.

He couldn't withstand one attack, but he withstood it three times.

Camila, who was sweating profusely, walked to Modesa's side. She tasted the blood on the wound and sighed: "It's still this damn poison!"

Chris was dying, and Modesa's life or death was uncertain. The anxious Camila shouted loudly: "Ima! Cut Modesa's wound first and squeeze out the blood!"

The wizard's power had always shocked Reggie, but it had never frightened him.

It was the same this time. After confirming that the other party was a wizard, Reggie still believed that he could find a way to deal with her.

But other people's reactions were different, especially the experienced old wizard.

"It's the Invisible One," Doranor murmured, "We're in big trouble this time."

"Call all the guards together, in teams of ten, to block all entrances to the hospital!"

"Lock the door and bring the food in through the bars. No one is allowed to step in here without my permission!"

"Call Tyr over and ask him to stay by his master's side."

Doranor, who had always been calm, became distraught. Except for the Hades Wizard, no one had made him so flustered.

Camila was still treating Chris. Reggie had drunk a lot of ale before. He was about to go outside for a while, but was stopped by Doranor.

"Master, there is an earthen pot here."

Reggie looked at Camilla: "There are ladies here."

"Don't worry about me!" Camilla said, "I've seen all your stuff, you can do whatever you want."

Seeing Camila smiling so easily, and hearing Chris's rapid and powerful breathing, the God of Luck had indeed favored him again.

"Give him some wheat porridge, feed him some more water, and he will be able to walk in three to five days. You take care of him here first, and I will save the gladiator."

Camilla wanted to save Modessa, but Doranor still had no intention of opening the door.

"What do you want to do?" Camila said angrily, "I don't have time to waste time with you. Modesa was stabbed three times and he is almost dead."

Doranor said: "I'll have Modessa sent here, but don't go out."

"She's not here to kill me! What do I have to be afraid of?"

"She is here to kill the master. If the master is injured, only you can save him, so she will probably kill you too."

Camilla looked Dolanor up and down, her disdainful eyes making Dolanor very uncomfortable.

"Old wizard, are you scared to death?"

"Aren't you afraid?"

Camilla sneered, and when she saw the guards carrying Modesa into the house, Dolanor's expression became nervous again.

"Tel, do you smell something different? She may have sneaked in. She sometimes smears lime on her body, or uses other things to cover up the smell."

"There is no smell of lime, and there is no smell of strangers," Taylor shook his head and said, "Old wizard, don't be so nervous, he will never escape your eyes."

"You can't see her at all, so what are your eyes?"

"This is just a metaphor, what's wrong with you?" Tyr couldn't bear the anxiety of Doranor.

"I'm dealing with the most difficult assassin in the world right now!" Dolanor shouted, "Did you know? The Invisible Witch once killed seventy-four important people, six of them were kings! She never failed.

, even the Hell Wizard keeps her at a distance, we are in trouble, if we want the master to survive, we must do what I say!"
