I was born in a small mountain village in Jianyang, Sichuan. My parents worked at home as farmers. My mother was ill and couldn't work, and she had to take medicine every day. The family environment was relatively poor. I still remember that my father caught loaches for me and let me play on the edge of the fields.
He also took Mantou to fish in the river, which was one of the few memories that Mantou had of his father.
When Mantou was four years old, a big change changed the whole family. Mantou's father died. At that time, Mantou was too young to feel much sadness. The originally poor family lost its backbone, making the family completely unsustainable.
Fortunately, my grandma saw that we couldn't live any longer, so she showed up in time to take my mother and I back. With the help of two maids (my mother's sisters), we were able to survive. We were still poor but still able to live.

My grandma has a relatively strong personality. She was disciplined many times by her because she was naughty when she was a child. My mother, on the other hand, was less disciplined due to physical and personality reasons. However, when Mantou was fifteen years old, her mother passed away due to her illness.
.This time, Mantou was really heartbroken and burst into tears. With the help of his grandmother and two maids, after his mother was laid to rest, Mantou's academic performance also plummeted. After finishing his studies, Mantou also went out to work.
I envy those whose parents are still alive. I really envy those who have their parents alive. I hope everyone will cherish their parents and not be like Mantou, who wants to get their parents' love and care. It has become impossible.
During his working life, Mantou suffered a lot and was tired. He also likes to read some novels to relieve his inner stress. For more than ten years of working outside, Mantou has been doing low-level jobs, and his monthly salary is not much.

The main reason why I wrote slowly before was because I lacked writing experience, so I could only think about it sentence by sentence, plus I was not fully prepared and it was hard to find the materials. That’s why I published the book on November 21st and didn’t put it on the shelves until March 1st. This was at the starting point.
I don’t know if it’s the slowest one, but the readers who have worked so hard to follow my book have been waiting so hard. Here, Mantou would like to say sorry to everyone.
