Chapter 5 Ploiesti

The next morning, Edel took his guards to the Standard Oil office in Romania and saw Smith talking to a group of workers wearing canvas overalls. As soon as he saw Edel arriving, Smith ran over quickly.

"Good morning, Your Highness Edel, welcome to your arrival. Do you want to visit our office?"

Edel looked at the two-story building with brick and wood structure in the style of his previous life.

"Forget it, Smith has more important things to do."

"Okay, your highness." Smith turned his head and shouted to the group of workers. "Get ready to go, you lazy guys." Obviously, Smith's politeness also meant distinguishing between people.

Soon the group arrived at the train station and boarded the train to Ploiesti. Edel and the guards sat in the extra royal carriage. Apparently, this was arranged in advance by the captain of the guard, Kallust. The train moved slowly

After starting the train, Edel sat on the speeding train and looked at the charming scenery outside the window. Ripe wheat formed a golden ocean, and the breeze blew through to form golden waves. Edel was very happy to see it.

This is my land, and I have the responsibility to make the people of the kingdom strong and wealthy. The sword of the kingdom must provide enough living space for its people. Edel looked at the beautiful scenery and expressed his ambition in his heart.

Two hours later, Edel and his party arrived in Ploiesti. As the sixth largest city in Romania, Ploiesti has a population of 110,000, which is another small county for Edel, who has memories of his past life.

After Edel and his entourage got off the bus, they saw the mayor of Ploiesti, Karaturi, with a group of municipal officials and nobles greeting His Royal Highness the Crown Prince. Needless to say, this was also the work of the captain of the guard.

"His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, welcome to Ploiesti for inspection." Seeing Edel stepping off the train, Mayor Karaturi stepped forward to greet him. Karaturi is 35 years old and has a personable appearance. As the nephew of the Prime Minister,

, naturally has his own channels. He has also received information about the Crown Prince from the Prime Minister, and he is not a master who can be fooled. Therefore, this time the Crown Prince comes to inspect, it can be said to be relaxing, and he does not dare to relax at all.

"Mayor Karaturi, you go and do your work and don't worry about me." The crown prince obviously didn't want to be disturbed. Who would take a group of officials and nobles with him when he went out to relax?

"Okay, Your Highness the Crown Prince, if you have anything to do, please ask the guards to inform you. I will be here right away." It is obvious that the mayor is also a transparent person.

After Edel nodded, the group left the train station in a mighty manner. Looking at the Crown Prince walking away, Karaturi turned to the police chief and said with a smile. "Director Brewer, I hope the Crown Prince sees Ploiesti

Do you also see the good side in this way?"

"Yes, we will definitely let the Crown Prince see a beautiful Ploiesti. I can guarantee that." The short, fat police chief in his forties promised, wiping the sweat from his forehead. It seems that the mayor does not

Just good looks.

"Mayor Karaturi is the nephew of Prime Minister Stuart. He has been smart and studious since he was a child. Later he went to study in Paris, France. After returning from his studies, he worked as a secretary next to Stuart. He was transferred to Ployer five years ago.

As mayor, Shiti has shown very good abilities and is generally considered to be the most outstanding young man in the prime minister's family." In the carriage, the head guard Kalust told Edel about the mayor's experience.

"It seems that this Karaturi is a very capable person." Edel thought to himself.

After a bumpy road, Edel and his party arrived at the eastern suburbs of Ploiesti. They saw that on a 6-square-kilometer open space, Smith was arranging for workers to survey the land and prepare it as a site for an oil refinery.

"Mill will take your team of people to measure the location of the factory, and Willis will take your people to the north to survey the oil production points and other pipeline locations." Smith's voice was heard as soon as he reached the open space.

"Your Majesty the Crown Prince, don't you take a rest?" Smith saw Edel and his entourage and ran over and said.

"It's your business, I'm just taking a look for a while and then I'm leaving." Edel waved to Smith to indicate that he was just here to take a look.

"Then you guys take a look at the scenery here first. I'll go over and supervise the workers first. Those lazy guys have to kick their butts to do a good job." After Smith explained to the crown prince, he returned to the open space and began to direct the group of people from

American workers.

"Caluster, let's go take a walk around. There is nothing to see here." After walking around for a while, Edel told the captain of the guard his plan.

"Okay, Your Highness, I'll make the arrangements right now." The captain of the guard, Kallust, still spoke so seriously.

Edel sat on the carriage and looked at the farmers busy in the fields on the roadside. The naughty children next to him were playing happily and sometimes doing various dangerous actions. This attracted scolding and spanking from adults, which made him miserable.

He cried loudly and made the workers laugh. This beautiful pastoral scenery reminded Edel of his past life.

In the evening, Edel returned to Ploiesti. "Your Highness, the mayor of Karaturi has organized a welcome dinner for you. I hope you can attend." Captain Kalust said to the crown prince, local officials

A treat for Edel.

"Okay, tell them I will attend on time." Edel answered the question from his captain of the bodyguard.

In the evening, as soon as the carriage Edel was riding arrived at the entrance of the banquet, he saw Mayor Karaturi, officials and local nobles waiting at the door. As soon as Edel got off the carriage, Mayor Karaturi came up to greet Edel and said, "

Welcome to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, it is an honor for us, the people of Ploiesti, to have you here." After saying that, he guided Edel into the hall.

In the hall, Edel walked up to the front desk, raised the wine glass in his hand, and gave a toast to the officials and nobles of Ploiesti. "In Ploiesti, I saw that the wealthy people were quiet and peaceful.

This is inseparable from the hard work of everyone present. On behalf of the king, I would like to express my gratitude to you."

"Everything is for the kingdom, and I wish the king good health." The following officials and nobles answered together.

"cheers."

After the crown prince drank the glass of wine with everyone, Edel, led by Mayor Karaturi, came to the main officials and nobles of Ploiesti. Mayor Karaturi introduced these to Edel in a low voice.

They, and Edel spoke words of encouragement and praise to everyone.

"Mayor Karaturi, I will tell the king everything I saw truthfully. You did a great job." After introducing the main officials, Edel said to Mayor Karaturi beside him.

"All of this was accomplished under the wise leadership of the king and the hard work of his colleagues. I was just coordinating it." Mayor Karaturi said modestly.

"Don't be humble, Mayor Karaturi. Being able to coordinate them to complete the task is the greatest credit." Edel secretly said. As for those who have the ability, Edel still wants to recruit people into his team.

"This is what I should do. It is an honor for me to serve the Crown Prince and His Royal Highness the King." Facing the future king's wooing, Mayor Karaturi could not refuse such a temptation.

"Karatuli, you also know that a refinery and other industrial facilities will be built here in the next two years. This is the largest investment of the royal family. I hope you can complete it smoothly." Edel said to the mayor while shaking his wine glass.

Edel also shows closeness to people who are willing to join the team. You see, the mayor doesn’t even need to call him a name.

"Please rest assured, Your Highness, I guarantee that it will be completed as scheduled." Karaturi answered affirmatively to the crown prince.

"Complete the refinery here first, and I will transfer you to Bucharest. Your outstanding talents will be needed then." Edel also made a wish and said that no one would have too many capable subordinates.

"Thank you very much for your high regard for me."

Both of them were very satisfied with the dinner.
