47. Good news

Misseran reluctantly said goodbye to Gallo, and stretched out her little hand from the car window and kept waving.

The driver on the side looked on, wishing he could get out of the car and fight Gallo!

This is the little princess in the church! So she was fucked by a pig?

And judging from that guy's face and tone of voice, he looks like a scumbag, the kind who is good at playing with girls' feelings!

The coachman cursed secretly and decided to report this matter to the cardinal as soon as he got back!

After Gallo watched the carriage go away, he muttered to himself in confusion:

"I always feel like this coachman hates me? Did I offend him in some way?"

"Could it be that... it's because I didn't invite him to sit in the church?"

"Oh...this is really an oversight on my part! I should have invited him in too. Maybe he would even offer a few gold coins to the goddess?"

While reflecting on himself, Gallo returned to the church and prepared to read some more books.

But the old bishop emerged from nowhere, holding a newspaper and several bottles of fresh goat's milk.

"Wow, where were you before?"

Gallo asked curiously.

The old bishop found a chair and sat down, and whistled again. He saw several little kittens crawling to his feet, squealing and staring at him with their big round eyes.

The milk bottle in his hand.

The old bishop took out a small handkerchief, put it around the little cat's neck, and said:

"I came back from buying a newspaper and found Miss Misserland's carriage coming, so I went out for a walk again."

"How was it? How was your chat?"

Gallo nodded and told the old bishop what had just happened.

The old bishop listened, nodded with a smile, poured the goat's milk into the milk basin, and fed it to the little kittens that were waiting to be fed.

But when he heard Gallo say that Miseran suddenly fainted, he was startled and quickly asked:

"Why did you faint suddenly? It doesn't matter, right? What happened next?"

"Then I got her to bed."

Gallo answered truthfully.

The old bishop was stunned for a moment, his eyes widened, and he took a deep breath.

He calmed down for a while, patted his chest with his hand to calm his heartbeat, and then asked:

"Then you...like her?"

"Like it!"

Gallo replied bluntly.

"She is so generous and donates hardware every time she comes. I hope she can come here every day."

"Do you mean you like it? You mean..."

"Huh? Wait..."

The old bishop was a little angry at first and planned to reprimand him, but he immediately realized that something was wrong and quickly asked:

"You shouldn't just put her on the bed to rest, right?"

"Yes!"

"You didn't do anything else?"

"I also covered her with a quilt and poured hot water..."

The old bishop listened, showing a look of dumbfounding, and sighed:

"As expected of you..."

"Then what happened next? What did you talk about again?"

Gallo then talked about how he helped Miseran modify the magic.

After hearing this, the old bishop nodded with satisfaction and said:

"You have done a good job in this matter. If the magic can be modified successfully, it will definitely be a good thing that benefits the public. This is gospel and blessing!"

"Our goddess will also be happy because of this."

"That's great!"

Gallo replied happily.

The old bishop then added:

"It will be of great benefit to you to do more good deeds and good deeds like this in the future to spread the gospel and blessings..."

"If you continue, you should be able to try to practice eighth-level magic soon, right?"

Gallo nodded and asked curiously:

"Then it's a good thing for me to persuade people to be kind at night, right?"

"Well..."

The old bishop seemed hesitant to speak and forcibly changed the topic:

"Speaking of which, what do you think of Bishop Misserland?"

"One thing to say, she is a very nice person, pretty and generous, but she is a bit stupid and gets lost in a daze from time to time. How about just calling her confused in the future?"

Gallo commented cogently and objectively.

"As long as you don't scream like that in front of her..."

The old bishop replied dumbfounded.

In this way, Gallo spent another two quiet days, reading, practicing magic, cleaning the church, praying, and doing push-ups, squats and long-distance running with lead weights tied to make up for the amount of exercise he had lost a while ago.

.

Soon, it will be time for him to go to work at the Shining Sword again.

Gallo arrived very early that day, and the store had just opened. As soon as he came in, the beautiful and sexy black-skinned dark elf shouted in surprise:

"Pastor Gallo is here!"

Bart, the store manager, and Schacter, the caveman blacksmith, rushed out, held his hands one on the left and said excitedly:

"Pastor Gallo! Our store can be saved!"

"Wow! Ah wow wow wow!"

Then, the store manager told him the good news of the past few days.

Since he left that day, people from the tax collector and the fire department have not come to trouble him again, and it seems that they have completely forgotten about the store.

The batch of samples after Gallo's blessing made the city defense army extremely satisfied. They didn't even wait for the bidding to end before they decided to sign the order. Not only was it a batch of orders, but an additional order was added later.

In addition, this batch of high-quality weapons has also aroused the interest of the border guards, and they are currently negotiating with the store manager.

A simple summary is that the Shining Sword has developed!

The shop owner was not dazzled by the order. He clearly knew that this was mostly due to Gallo, so he announced on the spot that he would increase his salary to 50 gold per month.

In addition, in the future, as long as Gallo can complete the task on time and does not delay delivery, he will pay an extra gold bonus for each weapon he adds.

Each weapon is blessed with one gold, which is about twice as high as those charged by blessing masters on the market, but the workload is also much higher. A batch of weapons starts with at least 100 weapons.

Finally, if Gallo is willing to promise to only take jobs from his store in the future, he will pay a dividend every year. Considering the future prospects of Shining Sword, this is definitely a considerable income.

The shop owner was so generous because he wanted to keep Gallo as a cash cow. He even gave the shop assistants a gag order, prohibiting them from mentioning the miraculous Pastor Gallo outside.

It's a pity that Gallo did not accept the final dividend.

It's not that he wants to work elsewhere, but as a devout priest, making money is not his purpose and pursuit, but just to change the church for the goddess. When the church becomes beautiful and there are more believers, he probably won't have that much time.

If you run into the store, you may want to bless other believers or something.

So of course we cannot agree to this kind of promise because it may not be fulfilled later.

Gallo always keeps his word.

After hearing the reason for his refusal, the shopkeeper thought for a moment, suddenly raised his head, raised his eyebrows, and asked:

"Pastor Gallo, what do you think of me?"
