Chapter 10 Garfield, can you release me first?

My name is Newt Scamander, the youngest son of the Scamander family. I grew up in the magical world and became interested in magical animals with the encouragement and support of my mother since I was a child.

My mother was passionate about raising rare species of hippogriffs, and I also learned a lot about magical animals.

After attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Yu and I were obsessed with raising various magical creatures and forgot about our studies. Although with Dumbledore's help, we were eventually dropped out of school.

Later I joined the Ministry of Magic, working in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures.

At first I thought I was imagining being with magical creatures, but instead I ended up spending two years in a house-elf relocation office.

These were the "extremely boring" two years in my life. Later, after a lot of struggle, I was transferred to the Animal Research Institute.

Through my rich knowledge about magical monsters, I have improved quickly among animals, but I always feel that this is not the life I want. In addition, a thunderbird from America that I raised is about to return to its roots.

I had an excuse to go to America, so I asked for leave and chose to go there myself, but I couldn’t let go of my little friends. Being smart, I put them all into a suitcase that I begged Dumbledore to help transform.

ri.

Dumbledore, who knew that I was going to America, also told me something that interested me very much. A monster appeared in New York and was wreaking havoc in New York City. Dumbledore thought that I might be able to help the monster and return it to me.

I got a certificate to hide my identity, and an ordinary orange cat.

I could swear this is the smartest and skinniest magical animal I have ever seen, and I am trying to communicate with it if it is willing to let me out of the suitcase first.

Stepping on the ladder to get out of the suitcase, Newt shouted outside: "Garfield, can you let me out first?"

Lying on the suitcase, Garfield said: "Oh, my dear Newt, if you swear you won't feed me dried fish and pet cats, maybe I can talk to you."

"Garfield, I agree to whatever you say. What if you don't let me out for a while to check the tickets?"

(⊙o⊙)Oh

Okay, I was so busy making trouble for Newman that I forgot about it, but then I turned around and thought that what old James Carter gave Newman was the ticket checker from the first class cabin.

In fact, Garfield was not willing to help Newman, but Dumbledore agreed to an irresistible reason: the Sorcerer's Stone.

That's right, it's Nico Flamel's magic stone that can make the elixir of life. Fans also call it the Philosopher's Stone because it is very similar to the Philosopher's Stone made with life in the comic "Fullmetal Alchemy"

.

The agreement between Garfield and Dumbledore was that at a certain point when Nicolés Flamel no longer needed the Philosopher's Stone and wanted to destroy it, Dumbledore had to convince the other party to hand over the Philosopher's Stone to him.

Dumbledore didn't know how many crimes his future student Tom Riddle had caused, but when Garfield made this request, Dumbledore didn't refuse. Nicolas Flamel had long been tired of producing

The troubles caused by immortality are gone, but because of many prophecies, he has the last bit of appetite and responsibility. Nicoléme hopes that he can handle these prophecies.

After reaching a deal with Dumbledore, Dumbledore borrowed Garfield from the old James Carter. Instead of taking him back to Hogwarts, he gave it to you directly to Leta Lestrange.

He sent Garfield to Newt's home.

Seeing Leta Lestrange, Garfield didn't have much communication with her. This guilty girl had regretted herself for half her life. Garfield could neither comfort her nor help her get out of her predicament. These were all causes and consequences.

A kind of atonement for one's own mistakes.

As for the contact with Newt, Newt was very grateful when he saw the help provided by Dumbledore, and began to become 200% curious about Garfield. He wanted to know what kind of species Garfield was. Garfield chose to pretend in the early stage.

I fooled around and pretended to be a normal orange cat and ate the dried fish that Newt gave me. Then after I got on the boat to New York, I watched Newt enter his suitcase to feed those magical cats.

He only did it when he was an animal.

He covered Newt's suitcase, tied it up with magic, ate the food in the first class cabin, and lay on it happily waiting for Newt.

Newt was deceived by Garfield, and only after he found out that he couldn't get out did he understand why Dumbledore gave him a cat and reminded him that the cat could help him accomplish some things.

Dumbledore's words seemed to have profound meaning. Newt was careless at first and didn't think about it. It's obviously too late to wake up now.

Hearing several meows from Garfield, although Newt couldn't understand what was being said, he still had a rough idea of the meaning. Garfield was negotiating terms with him.

Obviously this is a highly intelligent magical creature that looks like a cat.

"Garfield!"

Hearing Newt's pleading voice, Garfield thought for a while and told Newt: "I want a steak, a glass of milk, a burger to go, French fries if you want, forget chocolate, I don't like it."
"OK, I agree if it's just for eating"

Lifting the cat's paw, he snapped his fingers to remove the magic that locked the box. Garfield jumped from the lid of the box to the bed beside him. Watching Newt push open the box and climb out, Garfield narrowed his eyes and shook his tail.

He has the triumphant look of a victor.

"My dear Newt, please offer your tribute to your king, Garfield I. Meow"

Newt looked at Garfield with a curious look on his face: "Garfield, what kind of creature are you? Are you the product of the wizard's weird experiment? Can I check it for you? Don't worry, I'm a professional.

"The pigeon has no hum"

Garfield raised a cat's paw and pressed it on Newt's face, refusing Newt's request to check his body.

Just kidding, we are your king, Garfield I, how can you allow you to treat us like this, even with two pieces of steak, this is about dignity.

Newt thought for a moment and took out a piece of meat from his pocket and handed it to Garfield: "How about a piece of dragon meat?" Although Newt was very concerned about protecting magical creatures, he could not stop the relationship between the master wizard and the dragon.

Gratitude, resentment, love and hatred.

An indescribable smell floated from the meat into Garfield's nostrils. With this smell and the dragon meat rich in magical energy, Garfield's saliva began to flow uncontrollably, and his stomach began to wriggle.

, a desire to devour that piece of dragon meat appeared.

The desire to eat controlled Garfield's body, and he unconsciously walked to Newt's side, opened his mouth and swallowed the dragon meat in one bite.

Satisfied desire came through, and Garfield closed his eyes comfortably. Newt took the opportunity to stretch out his hands towards Garfield.
