Chapter 1240 People's hearts are lost, ancient Buddhas fall one after another

As Yang Jian and others left, in the middle of Xiniu Hezhou, Maitreya Buddha flew rapidly on the clouds with a gloomy face.

Facing Jin Si's nine-character mantra, he had no resistance at all, and even lost all determination to fight against it.

Subconsciously looking in the direction of the tens of thousands of Taoist soldiers, Maitreya Buddha clenched his fists and said: "Everyone, you can't blame me for this. I am a dead monk but not a poor monk. Don't worry. Wait until I reach a higher level and become a false saint.

I will definitely kill that Jin Si to avenge you all."

In Jin Si's view, facing the siege of tens of thousands of Taoist soldiers, Guan Shiyin and others were in danger, and even the possibility of escaping was slim.

As long as Guanyin and others are dead, no one will know about his escape alone. By then...

Just when Maitreya was thinking a lot, he didn't realize that the golden beams of light were speeding towards him.

After about a moment, the golden light beam that filled the sky stopped in front of Maitreya, and then he saw the Tathagata, and Ran Deng led a group of quasi-holy ancient Buddhas and Bodhisattvas from Western religions to come here.

Looking at Maitreya, who was panic-stricken but not seriously injured, Tathagata couldn't help but frown, and then said: "Future Buddha, why are you here alone, where are Guanyin and the others?"

As Tathagata finished speaking, Maitreya came back to his senses.

He stopped looking in the direction of Jinsi Mountain, and when he saw Tathagata, burning lanterns and waiting for the Buddha, he couldn't help but feel a hint of shock and panic in his eyes.

Subconsciously, Maitreya said: "Guanyin Bodhisattva and others seem to be trapped in Jinsi Mountain, I..."

Before Maitreya finished speaking, Tathagata seemed to already know the reason for the matter. The disdainful look in his eyes flashed away, and then he said: "Let's go to Jinsi Mountain!"

After saying this, Tathagata flew on a cloud and passed by Maitreya almost instantly, heading straight towards Jinsi Mountain.

At the same time, those quasi-sage-level Bodhisattvas and ancient Buddhas all glanced at Maitreya, and then left in the clouds without any hesitation, without even a single person saying hello to Maitreya.

As a quasi-saint-level powerhouse, everyone is a fool.

With Maitreya's current appearance, and the fact that Guanyin and others are trapped, we don't need to think too hard to figure out what's going on.

When thinking that Maitreya actually abandoned Guanyin and others in order to escape, and let them face the crisis, everyone will have such selfish thoughts, but as the future Buddha of Western religion, Maitreya's behavior is unflattering.

Even because of this incident, these quasi-saint-level Bodhisattvas and ancient Buddhas have an increasingly bad impression of Maitreya. After all, if such a self-centered person leads the Western religion, wouldn't it be possible for them to take up the responsibility at any time?

Sell?

Until Tathagata and Ran Deng left with the people, Maitreya's face turned blue and white in midair.

He knew that he had miscalculated again this time.

If he had known that Tathagata and Ran Deng would come with such a large number of quasi-sages to support him, how could he have left Guanyin and others behind at all costs?

Fortunately, his popularity has been completely destroyed because of this incident. I am afraid that none of the quasi-sages present today have any hope of winning over him. I am afraid that his status as a future Buddha will really have no future.

Subconsciously, Maitreya clenched his fists, gritted his teeth and yelled with resentment on his face: "Damn Tathagata, you must be plotting against me!"

Obviously, even now, Maitreya does not admit that he has done anything wrong. Instead, he throws all the responsibility on Tathagata, thinking that all this was planned by Tathagata, and that he was calculated by Tathagata.

Encountered this scene.

I have to say that Maitreya's mind is not good enough.

In other words, this is a common problem among Western monks. Everything they do is right, even if it is wrong, it is still right. Such blind behavior makes people look down upon and despise them.

Just when Maitreya Buddha was about to turn around and go back again, suddenly a bright white light shone.

Immediately afterwards, he saw the figure of Medicine Buddha slowly emerging from the field. He glanced at Maitreya Buddha calmly, and then said: "Junior Brother Maitreya, go back!"

Hearing this, Maitreya was stunned, and subconsciously looked at Medicine Buddha and said: "Senior brother, I..."

Before Maitreya could finish speaking, Medicine Buddha waved his hand to interrupt him, and then said: "Junior brother, your behavior has lost the hearts of the people, especially Avalokitesvara, Samantabhadra and others hate you to the bone. Go back now.

Even if their crisis is relieved, I'm afraid they will attack you without hesitation, and you will lose even more by then!"

"Go back with me now and work hard to suppress the emotions of the ancient Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and Arhats under your command. It is only right to not let them get agitated and jump to join the Tathagata!"

As the Medicine Buddha finished speaking, Maitreya's body couldn't help but tremble, the anxiety in his heart dissipated, and a strong light shone in his eyes.

After a long time, Maitreya came back to his senses, bowed to the Medicine Buddha and said, "Thank you for reminding me, brother, I understand!"

After nodding, Medicine Buddha's figure disappeared from the spot, but he did not go back, but headed towards Jinsi Mountain alone.

Seeing this scene, a look of astonishment flashed through Maitreya's eyes, but he soon thought of something, and without any hesitation, he accelerated towards the direction of the Western Cult.

At the same time, where Jinsi Mountain was located, the sounds of brutal murders resounded.

I saw that the defenses of Guanyin and others were shrinking and collapsing visibly to the naked eye under the attack of tens of thousands of Dao soldiers.

The moment a famous ancient Buddha left the defensive circle, he didn't even have time to scream. He was directly overwhelmed by the attacks of countless Tao soldiers. His body died and his Tao disappeared. Even the relic was directly exploded by the Tao soldiers.

Annihilation.

In a short period of time, there were only less than eight of the dozen ancient Buddhas left. In addition to Guanyin and Samantabhadra, there were only nine figures standing in the air. Each one was in very bad condition and was resisting frantically.

The Taoist soldier's eyes flashed with despair as he attacked.

Seeing that the defensive restrictions were constantly being filled with cracks under the attacks of tens of thousands of Dao soldiers, the anxious look in the eyes of Guan Shiyin and others became more and more intense.

Once the defensive restrictions are broken, they will be instantly exposed to the attack range of tens of thousands of Dao soldiers. At that time, let alone escape, even the chance of survival will disappear.

For a moment, Guan Shiyin and others looked at Jin Si on the ground, their eyes full of resentment and fear. They knew that all this was just because of the latter's nine-character mantra. Without the skill of the nine-character mantra, how could their battle have been defeated like this?

of misery.

However, at this moment, a low shout fell from the sky: "Break it for me!"
