The first thousand and sixty-six chapters of the Confucian sage go up the mountain

The mountain behind the Taoist Palace is as lush with trees and green grass as ever.

In the pavilion at the foot of the mountain, the God of Mount Tai is sitting cross-legged in the middle, with his eyes closed and concentrated, and the purple air above his head is dense, like an immortal or a god.

After an unknown amount of time, the God of Mount Tai suddenly opened his eyes, leaned forward, and spat out a mouthful of red and black blood.

The originally pale face gained a little more color.

At this time, the voice of the Taoist Saint came from afar: "Is the Lord Shen's injury better?"

The Lord Taishan waved his hand to evaporate the blood on the corner of his mouth and on the ground. He bowed slightly and said, "Thanks to the Taoist Saint, the little god's injury has been mostly healed."

The Taoist Saint seemed to be very satisfied with the result and said calmly: "Since there is no serious problem, the Lord God will go down the mountain today. The Lord God has just taken over the Buddhist sect. It has been less than a year since he officially took over. His prestige has not yet been fully established. It is easy for him to stay away for too long and too far away."

This caused those believers to wander around."

After hearing the words, the God of Mount Tai hesitated for a moment, and said with a wry smile: "What the Taoist Saint said is absolutely true, and the little god doesn't want to be like this. But the Buddha is watching covetously outside, and the little god has low cultivation, so he is no match for the Buddha..."

Having said this, the God of Mount Tai paused for a moment, then changed the subject and said: "The little god dared to ask the Taoist saint to help the little god through this disaster. I am very grateful for your kindness..."

Taoist Saint Leng Buding interrupted: "The matter of the Buddha is over. From now on, the Buddha will not cause trouble to the Lord God. There is no need for the Lord God to worry."

The Lord of Mount Tai was stunned when he heard this, and asked in disbelief: "Is this what the Taoist Saint said true?"

Seemingly feeling that it was a bit disrespectful to say this, Lord Taishan hurriedly responded: "The little god did not suspect that the Taoist Saint was deceiving the little god, but the Buddha was resolute that day and insisted on fighting the little god until death. The little god was worried that he would superficially agree to the Taoist saint."

Reconciliation is actually a murderous attack on the little god."

Xu Shi was defeated miserably at the hands of the Buddha that day and was almost suppressed forever, which made the Lord Taishan have a shadow in his heart and always felt uneasy.

Taoist Saint Yun Danfeng replied softly: "This situation will not happen as the Lord God guessed. The Buddha has disappeared. If there are no accidents, the Lord God may never see the Buddha again."

The God of Mount Tai was once again stunned, his face full of confusion: "Disappeared? Disappeared?"

Dao Sheng didn't explain too much to him, but just replied in a very affirmative tone: "That's right, Shenjun, don't worry and go down the mountain. Pindao will take care of you secretly, and there won't be any accidents."

After the Taoist Sage said this, the God of Mount Tai naturally had no reason to be attached to him. He stood up and paid homage to the Taoist Sage from afar, saying, "The little god thanks the Taoist Sage for his support and care. We say goodbye and will visit the mountain again the next day."

Taoist Saint looked calm and said: "Go."

The God of Mount Tai nodded, summoned a cloud, and flew away in the mist.

The Taoist Saint faced the direction in which the Lord Taishan left, gently exhaled a breath of fresh air, and transformed into a young man.

If you look carefully, you will see that between the young man's brows are the shadows of Taoist saints.

The Taoist Saint pointed to the direction in which the Taishan Divine Lord left, and said calmly: "Follow him, and if there is any unusual movement, report it in time."

The young man bowed to the Taoist Saint, and without saying a word, he turned into a breath of fresh air and followed the direction in which the Lord Taishan left.

Tao Sheng's face remained calm, but his heart was not calm.

The disappearance of the Buddha has always been a thorn in his heart.

If he doesn't figure out the whole thing, this thorn will stick in his heart and he can't get rid of it.

The reason why the Taoist sage asked Mount Taishan Shenjun to leave the Taoist palace in a way that was almost driving people away was because he wanted Mount Taishan Shenjun to be used as a bait to attract the masterminds behind the scenes.

If the target of the mastermind behind the scenes is the Saint Realm, the possibility of being fished out is extremely high.

As for whether the bait will be swallowed or damaged, this is not within the scope of Dao Sage's consideration.

The Taoist sage, who played an idle game of chess, continued to meditate with his eyes closed to gain enlightenment.

Suddenly, Taoist Saint opened his eyes, glanced in the northeast direction, and said solemnly: "It is a great honor to have such a rare visitor come to our door."

In the sky, the Confucian sage, supported by the vast river of righteousness, fluttering in white clothes, bowed slightly and said: "Long time no see, Master Li is well."

The Taoist sage said calmly: "Thanks to the Confucian sage, the poor Taoist is still the same as before and cannot die."

The Confucian sage smiled slightly and said: "Master Li's words are serious. In today's world, if even Master Li talks lightly about life and death, wouldn't everyone else be in danger?"

"On the contrary, I have been plotted and suppressed several times, and even lost my holy title once, so I should be careful in my words and deeds to avoid being killed."

The Taoist sage could not deny it and said: "Is it true that the Confucian sage came today just to reminisce about the past and complain to the poor Taoist?"

The Confucian sage smiled and said: "Of course it's not just about reminiscing about the past and complaining. I still have many questions that I would like to ask Master Li for help."

A sarcastic look appeared on Taoist Sage's face: "Confucian Sage intends to just sit in the sky and talk to the poor Taoist?"

The Confucian sage smiled calmly and said: "I'm sorry, please forgive me, Master Li."

After saying this, the long river of Haoran's righteousness was like a divine dragon, flying in a winding way, sending the Confucian sage ten meters in front of the Taoist sage.

Dao Sheng asked casually: "What do you want to ask?"

The Confucian sage was not polite. He thought for a while and said, "I have three things to ask. First, Emperor Qin is plotting against me. Did Master Li know about it or participate in it?"

"Secondly, the Buddha suddenly disappeared. Was it Master Li's secret murder?"

"Third, is Master Li letting people cultivate the Jianmu Sacred Tree, hoping to use this wind to step into the realm of transcendence?"

The Taoist Sage gave the Confucian Sage a slightly strange look and asked curiously: "Are the wings hard?"

The Confucian sage did not hide it and admitted openly: "While hiding in Tibet and being suppressed, I gained a lot of insights. I was lucky enough to return to the saint realm a few days ago, and my cultivation has improved a lot."

"Ever since the battle in Chang'an, when I was tricked and lost my holy title, I have always wanted to ask Master Li face to face, but I was busy recovering my cultivation and forgot about it for a moment."

"To this day, I still have the confidence to ask these questions when I think about it."

The Taoist Sage couldn't deny it and smiled: "Is it just because you are benevolent, righteous, propriety, wisdom and trustworthy?"

"Oh, by the way, there is no letter. Zeng Shen died so suddenly that there was not even ashes left. You should have no chance to get a letter from him."

"You can cultivate another one, but it's a pity that the time is too short and you can't cultivate it at once."

The Confucian sage's expression changed upon hearing this, and he looked at the Taoist sage in shock, and did not dare to reply for a long time.

This feeling of being looked down upon made him feel uncomfortable.

After a long time, the Confucian sage returned to normal and said calmly: "Master Li understands me quite well. He even sees everything I do."

Sometimes understanding does not necessarily mean that you can defeat the other party.

The Confucian sage admitted that the Taoist sage was stronger than him before, but now that he has the four perfect avenues, he may not be afraid of the Taoist sage.

The Taoist Sage sighed and said: "Sometimes looking too far and seeing too clearly may not be a good thing. Just like the questions you asked, the poor Taoist has the answers, but doesn't know how to answer them."

The Confucian sage took a step forward and said in a deep voice: "Master Li, please answer truthfully."
