Chapter 15 'Going Home'

It was late at night, and the screen was facing Lin Juan's bed. A few seconds later, Lin Juan woke up from his dream and sat up. The camera switched to a close-up, and you could see that he was sweating profusely and looked frightened.

Lin Juan turned on the light and covered his face with his hands. You could see the exhaustion on his face.

After sitting for a while, Lin Juan rubbed his face, and when he was reaching out to turn off the light, he suddenly stopped, frowned, and looked hesitant.

The audience's hearts twitched, and then they saw Lin Juan lift the quilt and get out of bed, and then walked to the door of the room. In the close-up, a slender hand was placed on the door lock. After a two-second pause, the hand gently

Pulled the lock.

The camera switched to behind Lin Juan. In the screen, Lin Juan gently pulled the door open. With a slight abnormal sound, the door opened.

He stood in the light, facing darkness, which was very beautiful.

“The picture is so beautiful!!”

"It's not appropriate to use the word beautiful. I should say shocking!"

"This director's shot proportions and use of light, shadow and color are absolutely masterful!"

"Didn't you realize that the plot is also very meaningful?"

"Don't seek death! I'm almost scared to death!"

"Lin Juan! Go back and lie down!"

The barrage was flowing wildly, but Song Peng's attention was always on the screen. In the movie, Lin Juan stepped out of the room door in one step, and then tiptoed toward the room where his grandparents lived across the door.

Lin Juan's nervousness was conveyed to the audience through the screen, and the atmosphere was solemn.

Lin Juan approached cautiously, then put his ear to the door of his grandfather's room to listen for any sounds.

There was silence.

The atmosphere is very subtle.

Song Peng was definitely not the only one whose heart was about to jump out of his chest at this moment.

After listening for a few seconds, Lin Juan struggled for a moment, put his hand on the door, pushed it open a crack, hesitated, and then took his hand back.

Lin Juan sighed softly and turned his head...

The camera also moved around smoothly, capturing the scene behind him.

Fortunately, there was nothing, no scary face suddenly appeared.

Lin Juan returned to the room quietly. He gently closed the door with his backhand, and the light source in the hall gradually disappeared.

With a bang, the light from the crack in the door also turned off.

The picture is dark.

It's safe...

Song Peng breathed a sigh of relief and felt a little thirsty, so he picked up the water cup and drank water. He thought it was a false alarm, but found that the dim picture did not switch to the next scene, but remained there. While he was wondering, he suddenly heard

A strange sound.

【Squeak...】

The camera is still facing Lin Juan's door, so the door that opens is not this one...

Then the screen slowly turned around, rotating 180 degrees and aiming at the back room. In the room, grandma was sitting on the edge of the bed, and grandpa was lying on his side. Both of them were staring at Lin Juan's door with expressionless faces.

A second later, before the audience could even react, the screen went black.

"Fuck, oh, oh, oh, oh!"

"What just happened!"

"There is definitely a ghost!! This is not what the protagonist sees from the perspective!"

“I found this director to be very naughty!!”

"Can you take a good look! I just took a breath and came here!"

Song Peng took a breath, and this startling glance made him feel a chill coming from his tailbone and going directly to his head.

"Cough cough cough." Song Peng coughed crazily, but he choked.

It's so scary! If you keep that shot for two or three seconds longer, the audience won't be so scared if they get used to it, but it only lasts for one second. Before you can take a closer look, the scene has passed, leaving you behind.

I stood there stunned, feeling cold all over, and full of fear!

There’s something wrong with this director’s thinking!

Song Peng was so frightened that he wanted to curse.

Shouldn't a normal director be caught and beaten with ping-pong while Lin Juan is eavesdropping? Or should he turn his head and see a ghost staring at you?

As a result, this director just missed the first two points. Just when you think everything is fine, a scene suddenly pops up and gives you a super impact.

Song Peng could imagine the director feeling unhappy while filming these scenes. This director was definitely not a serious person!

After scolding Lin Juan to relieve his mood, Song Peng continued to read. If he didn't calm down, he was afraid that his heart would have a problem.

In the picture, the camera is facing the window sill, with insects chirping and birds chirping, and tree branches swaying gently in the sunlight, creating a warm morning scene.

Lin Juan rubbed his eyes and walked out of the room with a tired look on his face, and shouted: "Grandma."

"grandmother?"

In the camera lens, the clock on the wall shows the time is half past eight.

Grandma's voice came from the kitchen: "Hey."

"Grandma, what are you doing?"

"Breakfast is being made below. Are you awake? Do you want to eat?"

"Okay, I'll wash my face first."

After a brief conversation, Lin Juan went to wash up. When he came out, grandma came out with two bowls of noodles: "You eat first, this bowl is for grandpa."

"Okay." Lin Juan took it, put it on the table, and then sat down to eat. Grandma came into the room holding the noodles.

After a while, grandma came out and came over with her face in hand, and they sat opposite each other.

"Xiao Juan, are you tired from work?"

"Aren't you tired? Grandma, you asked me before." Lin Juan said funny.

"Did I ask?"

"Well, I asked about it yesterday."

"Then I forgot." Grandma smiled sheepishly.

"Hurry up and find a girlfriend."

"knew."

"..."

The two of them chatted while eating, and occasionally fell silent, but they still felt warm. Finally, Lin Juan finished eating, put down his chopsticks and said, "Grandma, I'll leave in a minute."

"Um?"

"I seem to be getting sicker at home."

"We agreed to leave for three days, but ended up leaving in two days, and we don't come back very often." Grandma said expressionlessly.

"I will come back to see you often."

"Okay, I know you young people can't stand with us old guys."

Grandma said disappointedly, got up with difficulty, took the bowl and went to grandpa's room.

"No..." Lin Juan smiled bitterly and tried to explain, but grandma left without listening at all.

Lin Juan sat and sighed. The camera was filming him from a distance, and the empty scene amplified his disappointment.

"I seem to have seen this scene before..."

"Every time I leave my hometown, I feel very sad."

"It's me. Grandma feels very sad every time she leaves. In fact, I feel bad too."

"Go back and see grandma tomorrow."

"I miss grandpa."

Lin Juan got up and returned to the room to start packing his luggage.

After a few screens, Lin Juan's cell phone suddenly rang. The screen showed that the caller was Dad, and Lin Juan answered the call.

"Hello, Dad?"

"Well, how are you doing at home?"

"good."

"That's good. I didn't tell you before because I was afraid that you would be sad. Also, it wouldn't be convenient for you to come back since you were at work."

"What?" Lin Juan asked with a frown.

"Your grandparents passed away last month. They only discovered it when a neighbor came to visit. They were smelly when they were found. I don't know when they left. The doctor said that your grandma's death time was only one day different from your grandfather's. Grandpa died.

My step-grandma probably didn’t eat anything that day, so she just stayed with grandpa.”

"Bang……"

The phone slipped down and Lin Juan froze there.
