Chapter four hundred and forty-ninth he transformed himself into the devil's way
Sakyamuni and his disciples walked on the land of Hezhou, Xiniu, preaching Buddhism among various countries. Wherever they went, everyone from kings and nobles to traders and soldiers greeted them.
Because he said that the Dharma he preached was more acceptable to ordinary people.
This is already his ninety-third reincarnation. In every reincarnation, he is looking for the path to enlightenment.
In this life, he has spent eighty-one springs and autumns. Most of the time, he has been traveling around to promote Buddhism. His long years of travel have allowed him to travel to almost most of the areas in Hezhou, Xiniu. This is why he teaches Buddhism.
At the same time, he is also training his body and mind.
With his understanding and interpretation of Buddhism over the years, Sakyamuni has reached an extremely advanced level in his understanding of Buddhism. However, just like when he was teaching Jie before, his path is still stuck in the path of enlightenment.
At the hurdle before the road, there was always that small step missing.
Not only has this barrier trapped him for countless years, it is also a hurdle that all Daluo Jinxian dreams of breaking through.
Cross over, and from now on you can stand at the top of the Three Realms, overlooking all living beings. It can be said that as long as you don't seek death, you are basically safe from all catastrophes. Even if you want to avoid a catastrophe, you can still avoid it.
No one would be willing to drag a quasi-holy being into calamity.
It's a pity that from the beginning of Pangu to the present day, not many people have truly cultivated to the quasi-sage realm.
And many of them died in the catastrophe due to various reasons.
Such as Demon Emperor Jun, Donghuang Taiyi, Twelve Ancestral Witches, and Ancestor Hongyun, as well as the ancestors who died when they followed Dao Ancestor Hongjun to fight against the Demon Ancestor in ancient times, these are all relatively unlucky.
, and then he ended up dead.
In fact, after reaching the quasi-sage realm, it is really difficult to die. Just like the ancestor Kunpeng of Beiminghai, this demon master of the ancient heaven is the more cunning among them. Even if he personally participated in several catastrophes of heaven and earth, he can finally die.
Get through it safely.
Even in ancient times, he worked with Patriarch Styx from the Netherworld Blood Sea to plot against Patriarch Hongyun, trying to seize the Hongmeng Purple Qi in Hongyun's hands, and after plotting to death Patriarch Hongyun, who was also in the quasi-sage realm, he
Didn't suffer much damage.
Another example is Fuxi. If this big boss hadn't taken the initiative to reincarnate into the human race, no one would have been able to kill him. After all, not only was he a profound Taoist, he was also the elder brother of Empress Nuwa. Even if other powerful men were interested in Empress Nuwa's face,
, I don’t dare to do anything to him!
However, except for these uniquely blessed first batch of tyrannical creatures between heaven and earth, it is too difficult for other acquired creatures to achieve enlightenment and become quasi-sages.
Before Sakyamuni was reincarnated, he had already cultivated to the peak of Daluo Jinxian in ancient times. He lingered for countless years before breaking through the threshold of quasi-sage, but he still could not cross that threshold.
After he turned to Buddhism and reincarnated ninety-three times in a row, he got a chance for a breakthrough.
He used Taoism to verify Buddhism, and after combining all the insights from his previous practice, he now felt that he was getting closer and closer to crossing that threshold.
On this day, Sakyamuni led his disciples to the outside of Kushinagar City.
As he walked step by step, Sakyamuni's inner understanding became more and more clear, and his eyes gradually lit up, like the brightest stars in the night sky.
At the same time, the aura on his body was gradually changing slightly, but if you look closely, it seemed that it was no different from usual.
However, the disciples following him were slightly infected, and their hearts seemed to be like bright mirrors, untainted by dust.
Sakyamuni understood clearly in his heart that the time for him to attain enlightenment had come, and he would become a quasi-sage and become a Buddha and ancestor right now.
He did not continue walking to the city of Kushinagar, but walked to a tall Bodhi tree not far away, sat cross-legged and began to preach the Dharma.
Sakyamuni explained it in great detail, from the simplest Buddhist principles to the exquisite and profound Buddhist teachings.
Even if I tell it to these disciples, I also tell it to myself.
By telling these Buddhist teachings, he allowed himself to fully understand the Buddhist principles.
Gradually, as he narrated, small flowers began to fall from the sky, golden lotuses emerged from the ground, and sandalwood rose faintly between the sky and the earth, and the sound of Zen filled the air. All the disciples who listened were intoxicated. At the same time,
Sakyamuni emits immeasurable Buddha light, illuminating the universe.
He is about to preach.
It is an extremely rare thing for the entire Three Realms to become a quasi-sage. Even though he has not made any big noise yet, he still attracted the attention of some beings.
Among them was a young man with a handsome and strange appearance.
He is Bo Xun!
Demon King Bo Xun!
This demon king came to the prehistoric world a long time ago, but he has always led the demon clan under his command and many demon sect disciples to do things in secret. All the demon sects in the Three Realms were founded by him under his command.
of.
But he himself rarely shows up, and no one knows where he is hiding so far. Even the high-level demons under his command don't know if the demon king who appears in front of them is his true form.
Bo Xun was attracted by the vision caused by Sakyamuni when he attained enlightenment.
He was originally in Xiniu Hezhou. When he noticed the movement, he immediately broke through the space and came here.
I have to come.
Buddhist techniques originally restrained their demonic spells. In the past, there was only one Ran Deng Buddha. After all, Randeng's strength was considered the weakest among all the quasi-students, not to mention that the other party had to sit in Lingshan and would not go out easily.
But if there is another Buddha in Buddhism, it will definitely be a disaster for their demonic ways.
So, Bo Xun is here.
He wanted to prevent Sakyamuni from attaining enlightenment.
At this point, he is quite confident.
Because, not only is he an extremely powerful demon king in the demon world, but he is also the demon king who achieved enlightenment through his own way of freedom. He is the best in his life at destroying people's foundations and seizing the fruits of their humanity.
The last time he lit the lantern to attain enlightenment, it was a little sudden, so he didn't catch up. Now after sensing that Sakyamuni was about to attain enlightenment, he broke through the space and rushed over without any delay.
This time, he not only wanted to prevent Sakyamuni from attaining enlightenment, but also wanted to seize Sakyamuni's path and achieve his own supreme path.
The Tao of Self-transformation practiced by Bo Xun cannot rely on oneself to break through the realm of cultivation. He can only seize the fruits of other people's Tao and achieve his own Tao.
It can be said that whatever Taoist being he can infect and seduce with his magic power, he can gain whatever Taoist realm he can achieve.
Bo Xun has never been afraid of others being stronger than him, because he is the best at arousing the inner demons of practitioners. No matter how powerful his opponent is, he can evolve an enemy that is as powerful as his opponent, and even more cunning and more powerful.
Not afraid of death.
Therefore, fighting against Bo Xun often means fighting against oneself. The biggest enemy is also oneself. The stronger the desire in one's heart, the more powerful the inner demons aroused will be.
Bo Xun was hidden in the void from a distance, with no sadness or joy on his face, and his thoughts in his heart were as calm as water, without any ripples.
Even though Sakyamuni was about to attain enlightenment, he remained terrifyingly calm.
Looking at the figure emitting immeasurable Buddha light in the distance, a strange color flashed in Bo Xun's eyes. He did not move at all, but in the midst of enlightenment, Sakyamuni suddenly felt a hunger in his belly.
This sudden feeling of hunger struck his sanity crazily, as if there were countless little hands in his stomach begging for food, as if if he didn't eat anymore, he would die of thirst or starvation.
Sakyamuni sat still, as calm as a mountain, taking all hunger as the cornerstone to hone his will.
At the beginning of his practice in this life, he first chose the way of practice as an ascetic monk. He had been hungry for many years and had long been accustomed to hunger and thirst. Although the feeling of hunger in his body was so strong now, he still couldn't help it.
Moved, still in the process of enlightenment.
Bo Xun squinted his eyes, waved his hand gently, and suddenly there were countless phantoms of demons outside Sakyamuni, transforming into coquettish women, twisting their slim bodies, showing charming or pure smiles, and came out from his mouth
The melancholy sound teased his lust.
After a while, those coquettish women suddenly transformed into ferocious monsters. They pounced on Sakyamuni from all directions, opening their huge mouths full of fangs, trying to devour him.
Sakyamuni remained motionless, with immeasurable Buddha light blooming on his body. As soon as those demonic shadows pounced on him, they were like snowflakes under the scorching sun, melting into nothingness.
Subsequently, the surrounding demonic figures changed in countless ways and made various gestures, but Sakyamuni remained unmoved.
Bo Xun raised his slender and evil brows, and stirred up the desires in Sakyamuni's heart with emotions such as greed, laziness, lethargy, fear, doubt, damage, persistence, flattery, honor, power, etc.
But as these emotions and thoughts passed one after another, Sakyamuni not only remained unmoved by them, but instead used them to hone a firmer Buddha's mind, gain a more thorough understanding of the Buddha's Dharma, and gain a clearer understanding of his own path.
It becomes clearer, his wisdom becomes more profound, and the Buddha's light becomes more brilliant.
"ah……"
Several calls came out, which seemed a bit abrupt in the process of the righteous path with faint Zen sounds.
Those were several disciples who followed Sakyamuni in spiritual practice, including Devadatta, the heretic Asana and others.
Although Bo Xun was targeting Sakyamuni, and the supernatural power of transformation he displayed was mainly used on Sakyamuni, there were still some aftermaths that fell on the disciples who followed him in practice.
Even though these disciples were bathed in the immeasurable Buddha's light outside of Sakyamuni, there were still some disciples who failed to resist the temptation of inner demons and became possessed by them.
The aura on their bodies was changing rapidly, and the golden Buddha's light turned into a black demonic aura.
The stronger the demonic thoughts induced in their hearts, the deeper the demonic aura in their bodies became. Their eyes were filled with black light, their faces were full of evil, and their hearts were full of evil thoughts.
It is said that one thought becomes a Buddha and one thought becomes a demon.
These Buddhist disciples could not resist the temptation of demonic thoughts in their hearts and degenerated into demons.
This is also another drawback of Buddhist practice. Their practices are too extreme. If they cannot become a Buddha, they may become a demon at any time.
Even beings who have become Buddhas may fall at any time if they cannot control their inner desires.
However, as long as you can keep your heart firm and unmoving, and achieve success in practice, you will also become the most powerful magical power to restrain evil.
Therefore, some people say that Buddhism and Demonism are two extremes of positive and negative aspects.
