Finish this testimonial

It has been three years since I uploaded the prologue on May 13, 2017.

For me, "The Song of the Water Dragon" written in the first chapter is actually earlier than the prologue.

Looking back suddenly, I saw the title "Ask the thousands of heroes, who can stop a moment?", and then looked at the "Shui Diao Ge Tou" written at that time, "Flip the palms and the wind is stirring, and we will guard the tranquility of Jiuzhou."

, from the war in troubled times to the peace of the world, from the scattered people to the rolling tide, this should be regarded as a complete story. I am glad that I have not forgotten what kind of story I wanted to tell from beginning to end.

In fact, the outline of each of my books is very sloppy, because I don’t know how much of it I will be able to turn into reality in the end, so what I mainly rely on is actually the views and ideas I want to convey.

As long as my writing continues to revolve around these views and ideas, it is like the branches of a tree constantly growing to both sides. No matter how I write, I will still be part of the tree.

There are a total of two themes that this story wants to convey.

One is the personal aspect, which reflects the struggle, hard work and unyieldingness of different people in troubled times.

In troubled times, human life is like floating catkins with no roots and no support. Therefore, if you want to end these troubled times, you must fight bloody battles and work hard. There is no free lunch in the world. If you don’t work hard, you can only endure life and death, separation, and emptiness.

Leave regret behind.

So when you should work hard, you must definitely work hard; when you can struggle, you must get up again.

Maybe you can't conquer the world, but at least you are still a trend-setter of the times, rather than sinking into the sand and dust of the long river of history.

At the same time, only those who have experienced the misery and long separation of troubled times can know the preciousness of peace.

We are not afraid of war and should also cherish peace.

This is also the point of view that the entire first half of the book wants to express.

The other aspect is about family and country, and wants to convey some feelings of family, country and nation.

After all, a person is just an ant. One person's hard work may not change anything, but the struggle of a nation and the strength of a country can change a lot and protect a lot. All peace and tranquility often need to be built on a

On the strength of a nation and a country.

Throughout the second half of the book, all the efforts made by the protagonist, whether it is to promote the development of industry, commerce, culture and education, or to assimilate the surrounding ethnic groups that are inextricably linked to the Central Plains cultural circle, in the final analysis are to enable people to

China has quickly emerged from three hundred years of war, allowing this nation to rise to the top of the world again.

Of course, in addition to these two obvious creative themes, there are also some themes that will be mentioned repeatedly, such as "the trend of the times is rolling, those who follow it will prosper, and those who go against it will perish", and "you must do it if you know it"

, and for example, "contributing to the benefit of the world" and the like. These are also some of my personal opinions. They are based on the experience of the sages and should be correct.

Here are some answers to some of the questions you have raised one after another:

1. About writing style.

I'm usually too busy to read book reviews, but occasionally I see someone saying there are problems with the writing, so I apologize.

Because the author is just a pure engineering student, there are some imprecise wordings and obvious historical omissions. Please forgive me, and thank you very much for your corrections.

In addition, if you have book friends in the same major, you are welcome to communicate.

2. About updates.

Coding is purely a hobby. Whether it is the previous book or this one or the future, 4,000 words per day is really the upper limit. After all, studies are the most important thing, so I sincerely ask for your understanding. Even if I have saved manuscripts, it is usually difficult to satisfy them.

Everyone's demand for updates, after all, has to be prepared for emergencies.

3. The poisonous points about this book.

The biggest poisonous point of this book is in the beginning, where the protagonist soon joins the orphanage. Asxs. As I said before, the misery of troubled times and people's struggles are what this book wants to express.

Part of the theme.

In fact, this kind of village has been devastated by war, and not even one out of ten can survive. This is the most realistic portrayal of troubled times, and it is even something that happens every day.

The protagonist is just a modern little salted fish who has traveled back in time. He lives a peaceful life. At least he doesn’t have to worry about food and clothing. Therefore, he must go through something to grow up quickly. There is nothing like the departure of relatives and friends around him.

It stimulated him and made him suddenly realize the difference between this era and the era he lived in before. He realized that talking and the like could not help him truly gain a foothold. Only by fighting could he open up a world of his own.

Baojianfeng comes from the grinding. Originally, this setting was to hone the protagonist, to highlight the coldness and misery of the troubled times. However, because there was a bit too much focus on Li Cheng and others at the beginning, the whole process was indeed a bit cruel.

I would like to apologize to the book friends who were poisoned.

As for the rest of the poisonous points in the article, I think it shouldn’t be too much...

The main reason is that there may be some places that do not correspond to the context or are foreshadowings that have been forgotten. The main reason is that as time goes by and there are too many things, they are forgotten. In the next book, I will try to record each foreshadowing and characters separately.

Check it frequently.

4. About the protagonist’s name

This has been explained in the work. Some old book friends may not have noticed it, so I will copy it here.

Li Xingchen's name "荩陈" comes from the nickname of General Zhang Zizhong. It is not only to express respect for General Zhang's dedication to the country, but also to echo one of the main themes of this book - his devotion to his family and country.

In my opinion, it is not impossible for the protagonist to have this name.

General Zhang Zizhong, whose real name is Fenchen, comes from "The Book of Songs·Daya·King Wen", "The king's ministers have no thoughts about their ancestors", which means loyal ministers hired by the king to express gratitude for the kindness of their ancestors. At the same time,

Bai Juyi also wrote in "Han Yu and other twenty-nine people's deceased mothers posthumously gifted the system of state and county dowagers" (it should be a eulogy for Han Yu's mother. If you understand it wrong, please comment and correct me), "This philosopher was born to serve as my minister."

.

It is common practice in ancient and modern times to use the Book of Songs, Songs of Chu and other classics to name children. However, chapters such as "The Book of Songs - Daya" that tend to promote the feudal king's ideas are not widely circulated today. But in ancient times

, this should be the result of the imperial court's encouragement to spread the praises, and the rest of the various "Winds" are just local folk songs.

As for the person named Li Cheng, he was a bodyguard who followed Chen Qingzhi, a scholar-general. He was educated and courageous, and could use the word "荩成". It should still make sense, but this word is not used in our modern times.

There are relatively few.

At the same time, Li Cheng obviously did not have a good impression of the Southern Dynasty who refused to save their white robes. Therefore, he hoped that his children could defend the Li people with loyalty and enthusiasm, so he changed "Xinchen" to "Xinchen".

Not impossible.

Of course, the main reason is that I mixed some personal emotions and opinions into it, and I apologize to book friends who find it inconvenient to read.

5. About character creation.

The two books I wrote, whether they are "The Fall of the Song Dynasty" or "The Power of the North and the South", describe a rarely known time period in history, the last scene of the Southern Song Dynasty, the eve of the rise of the Sui and Tang Dynasties...

··

Describing these time periods is very novel and interesting to write about, but the biggest problem is that there are very few historical records and there are even some contradictions.

This leads to the realization that something is wrong when writing, which is still a small problem.

The big problem is that there are not that many people who can write about it. Before I wrote "During the Song Dynasty", I got a copy of "History of the War between Song and Yuan Dynasties", so there were many people in the book, such as Li Fu, Bian Juyi, etc. who impressed me deeply.

etc., are all national heroes that can be verified and do exist.

But "Power to the North and South" is different.

Originally, during this period of time, there were really very few people with biographies and detailed records, because "Chen Shu" and "Zhou Shu" were originally written by Mr. Yao for free and could be published and circulated.

It’s pretty good (this historical plot is in Ershen’s “Tang Brick”, I don’t know if you still remember it), so it’s concise and concise to the extreme.

Moreover, most of those who have biographies of Southern Chen and Northern Zhou are from the generation of Chen Baxian, Yuwentai, Chen Shubao and Yuwen Yun, which is like a gap.

Especially in Nanchen, only a few people such as Xiao Mohe are famous and can have historical deeds that can be mentioned. Xiao Shilian is just a name in Xiao Mohe's biography, and the existence of Pei Zilie is only a sentence in Wu Mingche's biography.

skip.

It’s no wonder that historians think of Mo Shao. Successful kings and defeated bandits. Originally, these people in the Southern Dynasties were losers, so it was good for them to leave their names in history.

For example, historians such as Mr. Yao did not dare to praise the enemies of their fathers in front of the rulers of the Sui and Tang Dynasties, right? How powerful is Xiao Mohe?

The enemy Han Qinhu and his nephew Li Jing are both shameless, right?

The vagueness and lack of historical data is not necessarily a bad thing for the author, because many people only have their names, which is like a blank sheet of paper that can be sketched at will. Of course, this is also limited to some small figures. Wu Mingche's hesitation and even lack of decision-making ability, Xiao

Maha's bravery and recklessness, as well as some of the characters of these main characters, can still be inferred from the history books.

In the early stages of the book, there were many fictional characters, such as Cao Zhong and Dai Cai, but the author has tried to weaken their existence as much as possible.

As for the most satisfying character in the whole book, I actually think it is Yu Chijiong.

Historically, this old man was also the last stumbling block to Yang Jian's success, and he is indeed worthy of a detailed description.

The survival of the nation, the separation of relatives, the kindness of the king, Yuchi Jiong is definitely not the most important villain in the book. At most, he is just an intermediate-ranked one among the many bosses the protagonist faces, but he should be the one with the most contradictions and the most complicated emotions.

In the end, Yu Chijiong chose to "evict himself from his family and die for his country", which should be consistent with his loyalty, benevolence and righteousness in history. He is a character worthy of admiration.

As for most of the other main characters, I feel that I at least embodied some of the characteristics that make them remembered.

For example, Lechang's infatuation and stability, Xiao Xiang's tenacity and mischief, Chen Xuanhua's detachment and need for beatings, Shen Wuhua's aloofness, Chen Xu's suspicion and suspicion, Yu Wenxian's entanglement and tenacity, and of course Xiao Shilian. , the growth and changes of Li Lian'er, Pei Zilie and others...

Not all characters can be painted with a few strokes to create a complete and full image, so many of them inevitably have no sense of existence or facial expressions. This is also because my writing power is limited and I really can't do it. I only hope that everyone can Find your favorite characters in the book.

6.Next book

The next book has already begun and will be uploaded soon. I hope everyone will continue to support it.

7. Extra

There should be a few extra chapters in this book, which should be written as soon as possible to improve some details in the book or simply create some jokes. One chapter will be updated every day or two, and some unfinished or future stories will be updated.

Copy the last word again and put it here. Only in this way can you express your mood at this time.

Shui Tiao Ge Tou·End words of "Power to the North and South"

The world is full of flames of war, and life is like a flying duck.

Once the sky is dancing and wandering, where is the dawn?

First, the flags were raised to cover the Han Dynasty, and then the troops were led to Bashu, and tens of thousands of people stopped with one hand.

The fire of karma shines on the quiet water, and the sharp sword stirs up the smell.

————

He controlled two dynasties, favored the north and the south, and was named the king of Han.

Hanging a sail on the left side of the river, I asked Zhong Nai whether it was more important or not.

The brave flying cavalry defeats the bandits, the fleets and ships swarm the ghosts, the seas are calm and the rivers are level.

Turning our palms, the wind and waves are stirring, and we will guard the tranquility of Jiuzhou together.

Thanks again to all the book friends, let’s watch the next storm together!
