177 Grab a bag on the train

More than 5 hours later, the two backpackers arrived in Berlin.

As the economic, cultural and political center of Germany, Berlin still has many places to visit. Irving and Monica first visited the Reichstag, then went to the Brandenburg Gate, Paris Square, Unter den Linden and Museum Island

.

The two rented a BMW on AVIS at a reasonable price and drove it around Berlin for three days. The biggest impression Irving gave Owen during the three days was the orderliness of the Germans, who pay attention to order everywhere.

Signs and prohibition signs to maintain order in public places can be seen everywhere. Every detail is clearly stipulated and people are required to strictly abide by it. Even the business hours of shops are strictly stipulated.

Monica likes to study German architectural styles, Gothic and Baroque, and is fascinated by them.

Owen is completely indifferent to these things. Like most men, when he comes to a strange city or country, the first thing he pays attention to is whether the women in this country are beautiful.

Frankly speaking, German girls are not particularly beautiful, but they generally have good figures. People here pay great attention to fitness. They are not beautiful but Owen thinks their overall lines are hard and not soft enough.

But Monica is an exception. Her body proportions and facial features can instantly defeat most German women, and her appearance is considered to be among the top in Germany.

To say that the places in Europe that really produce beauties are places like Eastern Europe, Ukraine, Russia, and Romania. It seems that the further east you go, the whiter and more delicate the skin of the women there is. Unlike many big girls in the United States, at first glance

Not bad, but if you look closely, your skin is actually very poor.

After the meal, the two of them visited the flea market in the Berlin Wall Park together. This kind of place is very interesting. There are many unique gadgets for sale, the prices are not expensive, and many of the things are handmade, which is very meaningful.

Monica picked out a pair of cornflower-shaped small pendants, couple style, made of metal and crystal, very beautiful. Just like couples must have a pair of wedding rings, couples also like to use this kind of gadgets.

Witness your love.

Irving readily paid for them and wore them around their necks. The cornflower is the national flower of Germany and looks very beautiful. Irving himself is a gentleman and doesn't care about these things, but wearing the small pendant around Monica's neck does look good.

Made her more beautiful.

After driving around Berlin for a few days, the two decided to head east. Monica wanted to visit the former Austro-Hungarian Empire.

This time the two discussed it for a long time and once again chose the train.

Self-driving and flying are indeed very convenient, but the scenery along the train is incomparable. I went to Berlin before, although the train was delayed and the ride experience was poor, but the beautiful scenery along the way was really beautiful, and it was a waste of time for the two of them.

Less film.

They trust Deutsche Bahn again.

The two set off from the Berlin train station, this time the destination was Hungary, and they would pass through the Czech Republic and Slovakia on the way.

Fortunately, probably because of the departure station, Deutsche Bahn was more reliable this time and departed on time.

Railway speeds in Europe are not very fast, and it takes a long time to drive to Hungary. In order to have a good rest, they bought sleeper tickets this time.

The sleeper is similar to the soft sleeper in China. It is a closed space with four beds, but there are not many people sitting there. At least in Owen's room, except for the two of them, the remaining two bunks are empty.

After placing their luggage, the two went to the dining car to find something to eat. It was noon when they drove, and they had not had lunch yet.

Just when the two thought this would be a wonderful trip, reality once again taught them how to behave. As soon as the train started, their backpacks were stolen.

Just as the door closed and the train started, Owen saw a young man waving to them outside the window, and the two bags the guy was carrying looked so familiar.

Owen immediately ran back to the sleeper room, and sure enough, the backpack was missing.

Mud, you are so arrogant, a thief can do this to such an extent.

The two of them could do nothing except lying on the car window and yelling. Their good mood was immediately ruined, and they had no intention of eating lunch.

When I was in the United States, I heard that Europe was in chaos. Irving also experienced the incident of Amanda being kidnapped. In fact, I have always been very wary of Europe. However, nothing has happened since I came to Germany, so my vigilance has dropped.

Unexpectedly, I was taught how to be a good person right away.

……*&(%¥……¥¥

Monica was still cursing the hateful thief angrily, which made Monica curse. It seemed that she was really angry.

"Are you Americans?"

The girl opposite asked in English. Although English is a common language in Europe, it is actually not spoken much. In Germany, everyone is still accustomed to communicating in German, so when the two of them were lying on the car window and yelling in English,

, others will know that these two unlucky guys must be foreigners.

"Yes."

Owen looked away depressedly. The train had already left the platform, and he would definitely not be able to get his things back.

The only good thing is that the backpack only contains a change of clothes and small odds and ends that I bought in the past two days to give away. It doesn't matter if I lose it. The biggest loss is probably the camera. As for their passports and other important things, they all carry them with them.

With.

"Don't be angry. There are a lot of things like this in Europe. Just be careful. I'm an American too. I was robbed of my things two days ago..."

The girl shrugged indifferently. There were two girls sitting next to him, who also tried to comfort him.

After hearing that the other party had the same experience and that he was also an American tourist, the distance between the two parties immediately became closer.

"My name is Monica, from California..."

"Oh, what a coincidence, I'm Beth, I'm from Los Angeles, and these are my friends Lorna and Whitney, we all went to school on the East Coast..."

"Great, I'm from Los Angeles too..."

I suddenly met a fellow villager on the train, and we quickly became acquainted with each other. It turned out that they were all students at an art university in the United States and were traveling to Europe during their holidays.

I don't know why Owen suddenly remembered that time when Amanda and the others also used their vacation to visit Europe, but they met those Albanians.

The same experience, except that these three girls are a little older, already college students, and more mature than Amanda and others.

Maybe the public security in Germany is better than that in France, Owen laughed to herself, but even she didn't believe this, because Brian had said more than once that Europe was very, very chaotic.

The women chatted more and more together, and the topic changed from what they had seen in Europe at the beginning to fashion and makeup. Gradually, Owen could no longer get in the conversation.

"Sorry, I'm going out for a moment..."

Owen made an excuse to leave. After going to the bathroom, he didn't rush back and just walked around in the carriage. The train had been running for a few hours, and except for the initial discomfort of losing his luggage, it was pretty good afterwards.

Owen ordered a glass of wine at the bar and passed the time while savoring it. The light outside the window began to flicker, and Owen understood that the train had entered the mountainous area and was beginning to drill into a cave.

During the period when it became dark again, Monica suddenly heard a scream. Owen recognized that the screamer was Beth, and heard her shout: "Who, someone robbed my bag..."

What?

Owen stood up, Mader was so arrogant, and robbed me right under my nose. Owen, who had also had his bag stolen just now, was very unhappy. He looked around, and the light suddenly brightened and then dimmed, but it was enough.

Owen saw it clearly. A figure ran towards the door of the carriage. Owen immediately chased after him.
