247 Hell Week

Everyone here has been on the circus list, and Owen is a frequent visitor to the circus. Although he often does well, especially in the obstacle course, he is definitely among the top students.

But instructor Roger just didn't like him and would often add his name to the circus list for no reason.

Owen could only endure it silently, but as time went by, he discovered the benefits. He became stronger and more flexible than before. Although the two hours more training every day compared to others made him more

Tired, but he also became stronger.

Instructors Leopard are the person that every student hates the most. They sneer at the students' incompetence from above, make them give up and go home, interfere with their concentration, show off their own stinking self, and undermine the students' self-confidence. In fact, every instructor has the same feeling in his heart.

I hope that everyone can persevere and break through themselves, because they have come all the way and struggled on this beach.

Yesterday, Owen finally won the recognition of instructor Roger because he set a new record for the obstacle course in SEAL training.

In the next few weeks, due to the addition of many other subjects, the obstacle course was rarely performed, but the frequency was maintained at least twice a week.

The trainees are required to run the obstacle course. There are 25 obstacles on the obstacle course, but the most challenging obstacle is the escape rope.

There is a 30-foot-tall three-story tower at one end of the barrier, a one-story tower at the other end, and a 200-foot-long rope between the two towers.

Students must climb up to the three-story tower. After climbing to the top, you have to grab the rope, hang under the rope, and move forward with both hands alternately until you reach the other end of the rope.

The slalom record had been held for years, as if it was an unbreakable record, until yesterday Owen decided to cross the rope in a different way - headfirst.

He did not let his body hang under the rope and move forward bit by bit. Instead, he bravely climbed on top of the rope and ran forward, sliding down like a ski.

That was a dangerous move that seemed a bit stupid and full of dangers.

If he misses, he will definitely be injured if he falls from that height, which means he will be eliminated from training. Irving slid down the rope without hesitation. It was full of dangers, but he was very fast.

It didn't take him a few minutes, but only half the time. When he finally finished the race, he broke the record.

It was this that made the instructors look at him with admiration. You must know that they also went through BUD/S training before becoming SEALs. At least Owen was better than them in this aspect.

In addition to the newly added bay and deep-sea diving, riding a rubber boat across the beach, and underwater drowning prevention and other training subjects, other events remain the same and are constantly repeated.

The reason for doing this is to let these reactions become muscle memory, and they will not be left with much time to think during fierce battles.

Many people are training, struggling, and trying hard to break through themselves, but more people choose to quit without suffering any more.

The instructors have added a new training called "Surfing Torture". The students must hold their arms and sit in the rough water behind the barracks. The waves are beating against the human wall. In the cold water, the students must hold each other's arms to survive.

Make sure not to be knocked over by the waves.

The instructor would occasionally gloat and shout with a loudspeaker: "You must keep going until someone quits."

This sounds like a shame. The students would encourage each other and grit their teeth to fight on. However, two students decided not to suffer this problem anymore. They walked out silently and took off their helmets. At this time, the instructor would reveal the devil's face.

Smile.

During the water training, we were divided into a group of 7 people, and each group was assigned a rubber boat. We had to row for several hours in a series of competitions, crossing the wave zone. After we completed one task, we rushed to the next task.

Hold the rubber boat above your head.

The newly opened cultural class is a rare opportunity for them to rest. The instructors will teach them some combat skills in the classroom. This is the happiest time for everyone, because they finally don’t have to run around outside.

Someone relaxed and started to take a nap until the instructor poured a basin of seawater on his head and stuffed a tear gas canister with the safety on in his hand.

The napping guy had to hold on to the tear gas at all times to prevent it from leaking, but even this sometimes couldn't stop the god of sleep. This was not the first time that Owen and the others were smoked out of the classroom by tear gas.

Time flies by, and finally we have arrived at the legendary "Hell Week", which is the last stage of the basic training phase, starting at midnight on Sunday and ending at the last moment on Saturday of the second week.

Everyone knows that during Hell Week, you can only sleep 4 or 5 hours a week. Everyone has been mentally prepared for it, but Owen found that he still underestimated the meaning of the word "hell".

That night, the students were all asleep. In fact, they had just fallen asleep. But at 0 o'clock in the morning, the heavily armed instructors woke us up with concussion grenades, artillery simulators, and rifles and machine guns.

Amidst the billowing smoke of smoke bombs, the two-layered force of ice and fire sprayed by machine guns and fire hoses forced the trainees to run away, while at the same time putting on their equipment as quickly as possible and going out to line up, following a series of incomprehensible orders.

and a dress code was enacted, Hell Week began.

Hell Week is the most notorious part of the entire SEAL selection process, because during this period more trainees will choose to give up due to unbearable hardships, leaving only "born warriors."

The students were embarrassed by the sudden attack and rushed to the playground. What they saw were simulated cannons firing shells, M-60 tanks strafing, a machine spewing thick smoke, green flares piercing the sky, and high-pressure water pipes spraying.

Water columns hit the air, and the air was filled with the smell of gunpowder...

Everything is so realistic, as if the war has already begun. Only the classic rock song "Running to Hell" by AC/DC coming from the loudspeaker makes you understand that this is just the prelude to "Hell Week".

The tense atmosphere had obviously frightened many students, who were dumbfounded. Within a few minutes, the bell at the door rang - someone was quitting. Owen felt a little funny: Nothing had started yet, why did he quit? But soon

, he understood what cruelty is.

One training involves pretending to be dead in the water.

The students wore military uniforms, jumped into the water barefoot, faced down, and pretended to be dead without moving. They had to be very careful when ventilating, taking a quick breath and immediately returning to the "dead" state. Only when the body was really sinking too much could they step on it.

Take a dip or two in the water to let your body float. During the whole process, your body must remain highly tense.

In the meantime, several students could not bear the cold water and swam back to the shore. Instructor Lamb said: "If one more student rings the bell, the rest can return to the water. There are warm blankets and heat pumps in the ambulance.

Chocolate is waiting for you.”

Soon, the bell rang again. The remaining students happily went ashore, but were ordered by the instructor: "Take off your pants and lie on the beach. If you are not wearing shorts, it is better to be naked."

The sea breeze at night was so cold that Owen felt as if he was lying on a piece of ice. The instructor sprayed cold water on the students with a hose, and the students were all shivering from the cold. The instructor said that this was just the early stage of hypothermia.

The students began to try every means to keep warm. They tried to get closer, but it didn't help.

Mike just wanted to pee, and White next to him immediately stretched out his hands and said to him: "Man, pee here."

The temperature of the urine made White shiver, but he felt extremely comfortable. He didn't think about shame or face right now. Nothing mattered at this moment. He just wanted to persevere.
