470 I've Been Looking For Something

Owen only found out about the scene in the afternoon after Amanda got home. The matter finally went to the police. The only sheriff in the town finally made a ruling. The responsibility for this matter lies entirely with the Casey family. So many people watched

Even if Cathy wanted to deny it, she couldn't.

Shaking her head, that Casey's life was really in vain. The fight between the two children actually involved adults, and finally the police. However, Amanda heard from Teacher Tracy that this Casey was in Revell Elementary School.

Zhen has always been very arrogant, and everyone is usually reluctant to provoke her.

However, none of Owen's family took her seriously. Her mother, who raised Owen and Amanda by herself, was not a soft persimmon. Amanda had experienced more and would not care about a shrew.

The night passed peacefully. The next day was the weekend and school was on holiday. Amanda didn't have to go to school, so she slept in at home. But for her mother and McCall, every day was a weekend, and they still got up early to go horseback riding.

.

Brock didn't seem to care too much. He drove Mandy out early in the morning, and met Owen on his morning jog on the way.

Owen waved: "Hi, Brock, Mandy, where are you going?"

"Good morning, Steve, we're going to the zoo to see giraffes and elephants, monkeys and pumas..."

Before Brock opened his mouth, Mandy introduced him excitedly, holding a monkey doll in his hand. Brock smiled and added: "I promised her a long time ago that I would take her to the zoo, and I happen to be free today.

, I asked Teacher Tracy about it, the zoo is close to New Orleans, it takes more than two hours to drive..."

"Oh, then I wish you a good time and remember to take pictures..."

Owen smiled and waved to them, and Brock drove away. After driving far away, he could see Mandy happily saying goodbye to him in the back window. Owen waved again and continued his morning run.

After Owen finished his morning run, he returned home and took a hot shower. When he came out, he saw Amanda holding something to wash up.

"Oh, weren't you going to sleep in? Why did you get up?"

Owen couldn't help but look at the sun. Did it come out from the west today?

"Don't mention it. The principal just called me and asked me to go to school in the morning and talk to me about what happened yesterday..."

Amanda looked helpless, her chance to sleep in was interrupted, and it happened yesterday, which ruined her good mood for the day.

Owen pouted: "Then I'll send you there in a minute."

The family only has one car. Although Amanda has obtained her driver's license, Owen still doesn't trust her alone. It's okay anyway, so he might as well be a free driver.

When they arrived at school, Owen was waiting in the car while Amanda went into the school to find the principal.

"Amanda, I know everything about yesterday. I'm sorry that something like this happened. I came to you today to tell you that the school is on your side..."

Behind the desk, an old man with slightly gray hair handed Amanda a cup of coffee and said gently.

"Thank you very much for your and the school's understanding, Principal Soder. I just wanted to stop Ms. Casey's excessive behavior yesterday..."

"I understand. I have lived in a small town for many years. I know very well what the people in the town are like. And didn't the Sheriff also make the final assessment?"

"Yes, principal."

Principal Soder stirred the coffee with a spoon and watched the milkshake completely merge into the coffee. After taking a sip, he continued: "In addition, I must remind you that some people in the town of Reville are more old-school and they are very good at it.

Holding a grudge, the Casey family happens to be the more old-school kind..."

Amanda frowned: "You mean they will retaliate against me? Even if the Sheriff has made a ruling..."

"Of course, this is just my guess, but you still have to be careful. You have just moved here. You may not know yet that their family's reputation is not very good. She may make things difficult for you in the future..."

"Thank you very much for the reminder, Mr. Principal..."

Amanda didn't really care, but she still expressed her gratitude to the principal for her kind reminder.

After leaving the principal's office, Amanda returned to the car. Owen started the car and drove towards the supermarket in the town. Today was the weekend, and he planned to buy more food and have a good meal at noon.

"What did the principal tell you?"

"Nothing, just asking me to be careful because the other party might retaliate..."

Amanda shrugged nonchalantly, and Owen didn't ask any more questions. For Owen, this matter really couldn't be any smaller.

Soon the two came to a supermarket, which was the only large supermarket in the town. Owen parked the car in the parking lot, and the brother and sister each pushed a shopping cart in to make a big purchase.

There were not many people in the supermarket. They found everything quickly. Owen paid the bill. The two of them came out of the supermarket carrying several big bags. From a distance, they saw two guys walking around next to their car.

, Owen's brows furrowed, because those two guys were none other than the two gangsters who were beaten up by Brock at the gas station that day.

"What's the matter?"

Instructing Amanda to stop farther away, Owen walked over alone.

"Nothing, just saying hello to you, a stranger..."

Owen's brows furrowed even more, and when he saw the short-haired man's unpunchable expression, he wanted to punch him, but Owen didn't want to cause trouble, so he could only endure it as much as possible.

"Okay, now that the hello has been said, you can leave..."

Owen said unceremoniously that he was sure that something was wrong with these two guys.

The expressions of the two gangsters who had been smiling playfully just now changed, and Owen's attitude was somewhat unexpected.

"Don't worry, this is what I want to say hello to you..."

Changmao on the side took out the key and deliberately scratched it on the surface of the car. The contact area made a harsh metal friction sound, and a long path appeared on the paint surface. Changmao smiled proudly and looked at Owen provocatively.

.

The short-haired man on the other side also let out a disgusting laugh, took out a dagger from his body, and punctured the car's tire. The tire deflated at a speed visible to the naked eye.

"You asked for this..."

Seeing this provocative scene, Owen couldn't bear it, and kicked the short-haired man first. When the short-haired man saw Owen taking action, he waved a dagger, but Owen easily dodged it. Then Owen kicked him away and hit another man behind him.

On the car.

The man next to him, Chang Mao, saw this and took out an iron fist glove, put it on his hand, and punched Owen. Owen took a step back to avoid his attack, and then kicked him in the knee. The opponent fell to his knees in pain, and then

He was knocked to the ground by Owen's kick.

"Fake~~~"

The long hair on the ground was still unwilling to give up, and he was cursing. Owen stomped on him without hesitation. His face was already covered with gauze, which was hit by Brock before, and Owen specially went to greet his wound.

He grimaced in pain.

Irving's current level is too high, and his enemies are all internationally renowned terrorists. It's really hard to deal with these bastards. Irving himself feels that he is a bit low, but these unsighted guys want to mess with him.

, if it weren't for confidentiality issues, he could make these little gangsters miserable with just one phone call.
