This is actually a thank you letter.

I can’t sleep, and I don’t know where to start, so let’s start with myself.

I started reading online novels in 2005. The first book was "Sou Shen Ji", which I read using a learning machine.

I came into contact with horror novels in high school. I would buy horror magazines with my friends every week. I liked Junji Ito’s horror comics the most.

I am very timid and never put those magazines next to my bed after reading them.

I first had the urge to write when I was in high school. I wrote a supernatural short story in three days and sent it to the magazine, but it was not approved.

My biggest wish at that time was that one day when my classmates went to buy magazines, they suddenly opened the novel I wrote and said, holy crap, isn’t this so-and-so from our class?

Unfortunately, this wish has never been realized.

It was my sophomore year in college when I really made up my mind to give it a try. I submitted thirty-one short stories, four medium stories, and one long story to magazines, Weibo, and WeChat public accounts, but none of them were published.

I wrote 580,000 words of scrap manuscripts, with outlines and various ideas stuffed into a drawer, a bit like Yan Danian

I am not a gregarious person, I am very introverted and afraid of communicating with others.

Even now, every time I go to the group to talk, I feel like I have to struggle mentally for a long time.

I have always felt that writing a book is a very lonely thing, and I have always been alone before.

So the protagonist in my book actually has no friends. The one closest to him is a ghost.

It's actually not easy

Let’s not talk about this anymore, let’s talk about our books

When this book was put on the shelves, the results were so good that I couldn't calm down and write it.

I asked for leave that day and ended up writing more than 2,000 words. Then I posted an apology on the first day it was released.

I was very worried that it would affect my grades, and I was prepared to be scolded.

But what I didn't expect was that that single chapter, just one page, had 680 chapters, all of which encouraged me.

At that moment, I really felt warm

I apologized on the first day it was launched. I didn’t know much about monthly tickets, so I didn’t ask for it deliberately.

It wasn’t until the end of October that I heard that the Rookie King was related to the monthly pass

In November, I started asking for monthly tickets in a hurry. I was in a hurry and felt that nothing had been done. The gap was really too big.

I published the single chapter on November 16th, determined to resign and compete for the new star. At that time, others were ahead of us by more than 30,000 votes.

In the chapter description, some people thought I was dreaming, just like when I was about to write a supernatural sermon at the starting point, ten out of ten people thought I was dreaming.

By December 1st, we had surpassed others by 5,000 votes.

Yesterday when You Meng and Huan Yu were working hard, someone joined a group to chat with me privately, scolding me for being shameless, saying that I have the ability to compete for the Rookie King based on my performance.

I was blocked, so I can only tell him here that in terms of actual results, the average booking of House of Horrors is more than 10,000 higher than other newcomer competitors, and it is a well-deserved first place.

Since I started competing for the list, I have seen a lot of messages from book friends. Some friends voted for the first monthly ticket for Qidian. Some friends came to support pirated copies. Some friends saved money and gave rewards.

thank you very much

Now when I see the air conditioner blowing up, I can't help but laugh. I'm a little touched.

I always thought that I was the type to write books quietly, but I never thought that so many people were actually supporting me.

Good night~
