Chapter 411 Good and Evil

"It's past two o'clock in the morning, so I have enough time."

Chen Ge took out his mobile phone and looked through the various information recorded on it. He was thinking about how to complete the task of the underground morgue.

The passengers had to rush to the abandoned school in the suburbs late at night. The driver in the front seat was under great pressure, wiping his sweat frequently and quietly watching Chen Ge's every move through the rearview mirror.

Chen Ge felt a little uncomfortable being stared at all the time. He doubted that if he continued like this, he would soon be blacklisted by the Hanjiang Taxi Company.

"It seems that I should consider buying a car, but I don't have a driver's license. Forget it, I'll wait until I get a bad guy who can drive."

The truck driver from the moving company in the eastern suburbs flashed through Chen Ge's mind, and he thought he would be quite suitable.

"After I complete the underground charnel house mission, I will go to the eastern suburbs to have a look. If the truck driver agrees to join the haunted house, I will even save money on buying a car."

A smile appeared on his face, and Chen Ge felt that he had discovered another employee with great potential.

At two forty in the morning, Chen Ge arrived at the outskirts of Muyang Middle School. He got into the cluttered bushes and saw the school hidden in the night before he had gone far.

"This place is just a two-star horror scene, but why does it make me feel more sinister than the third ward?"

Chen Ge unzipped his backpack. He was here to ask the old principal for help. He didn't want to make it too scary, but he felt a little uneasy without the skull-crushing hammer.

Grasping the handle of the hammer, Chen Ge pressed the repeater switch and entered the abandoned school.

"The old principal appeared in the last classroom before."

The murderer of the case of hiding the corpse in the well has been caught. After the police withdrew, no one came here for a long time.

The playground is overgrown with weeds, and Muyang Middle School has returned to its original appearance.

Walking along the burned corridor, Chen Ge entered the teaching building. He pushed open the door of the last classroom and looked inside.

Rows of tables were arranged neatly, and Chen Ge was sitting in the middle of the classroom just like he did when he first arrived.

Strange characters were written on the blackboard, and various strange requests were engraved on the table. The windows slowly shook, and the night wind blew into the house through the broken glass.

It was the same scene, but the questions in Chen Ge's mind were completely different from the last time he came.

"Where can the old principal hide?"

Chen Ge had no ill intentions towards the old principal, he just wanted him to reunite with those students.

After getting up and leaving the last classroom, Chen Ge got into the office building. He checked every room and finally found the principal's office deep in the corridor.

In order to leave a good impression on the old principal, Chen Ge knocked on the door five times. After making sure no one responded, he used a skull-crushing hammer to smash the door lock.

Breaking in, Chen Ge found that the house was empty.

"Muyang Middle School was built little by little by the old principal. He probably won't leave here."

Perhaps the time had not come yet, or the old principal had other concerns, so he did not show up.

"The principal was a good old man when he was alive. After his death, he returned to Muyang Middle School just because he couldn't worry about the more than 20 students. Now that those students are under my care, has he given up his obsession and completely dissipated?"

Chen Ge thought about it and realized that it was possible.

After closing the door, Chen Ge walked into the house.

The principal's office is very simple, with nothing else except a desk, a chair and a bookcase.

"There must be a reason why Bixian asked me to come to the office. Did the old principal know that I would not let him go? Did he guess that I was coming?"

The appearance of the fat old man appeared in Chen Ge's mind, and he was a little unsure.

He walked to the table, opened a few drawers and looked at them. Counting from top to bottom, the first drawer contained a few certificates for municipal competitions.

The teaching staff of Muyang Middle School is weak, and the students' academic performance is not good. They usually participate in various competitions held by the city and are at the bottom. They have received very few certificates, but each one has been carefully preserved by the old principal.

"The old principal really wants to run this school well, but it's a pity that his strength alone is not enough."

Chen Ge opened the second drawer, which contained a drawer full of thank-you letters, mostly written by students, thanking outside caring people for their donations.

"He still keeps these things."

After looking through it for a long time, Chen Ge couldn't find anything useful, so he opened the last drawer.

Inside are a pair of reading glasses and several thick account books.

“Charity Donation Statistics?”

Chen Ge opened the account book and was stunned for a moment when he saw the person's name in the first line.

"Dr. Gao from Hanjiang Mental Disease Research Center?"

In order to confirm that Dr. Gao was the person he knew, Chen Ge also searched online.

"Yes, this man is Gao Ruxue's father."

Looking through the ledger, Dr. Gao was ranked first among all donors, which made Chen Ge's view of Dr. Gao change again.

There are also donations from several companies at the back of the account book. Every time they donate money, they will make a big fanfare, and the media will broadcast it, hoping to make the whole world know about it. However, the actual donation amount is not as much as that of Dr. Gao Gege alone.

He silently donated to the school without making any announcement about it. Dr. Gao seemed to be doing this just to do a good deed.

"Could such a person be the president of the Ghost Stories Association?"

Chen Ge stood at the table. If Dr. Gao was really the president of the Ghost Story Association, then he would be the most complicated person Chen Ge had ever seen.

"On the one hand, he donates to schools and treats patients, but on the other hand, he kills wantonly and extradites the ghosts behind the door. What does he want to do?"

No one can guess what Dr. Gao is thinking. The most outstanding psychiatrist in Jiujiang seems to have buried his heart.

At the end of the account book are Dr. Gao's handwritten replies to the children, all of which were retained by the old principal.

Chen Ge turned to the end little by little, and he saw a photo sandwiched in the account book at the end.

The characters are a little unclear, but they can still be recognized at a glance. The person in the photo is Dr. Gao.

He was standing with another young man, surrounded by a group of children, and not far from the two of them stood a somewhat shy woman.

The woman's face was very blurry, but from the body shape, she was very similar to the strange woman Chen Ge met at Hanjiang Forensic Medical College.
