Inside the tower, the windows were closed tightly, and the sunlight was scattered through the carvings between the edges, making the light very dim.
The ground is covered with a thick layer of dust. When you step on it, dust will immediately rise up, twisting and flying in your sight.
The ancient pagoda has been silent for many years and has not been opened!
After walking into the pagoda, the first thing I saw was a "clay sculpture" sitting in the middle, with a dirty face and a futon underneath. The clay sculpture sat in a very strange posture, with only one finger touching the ground.
The surroundings were lined with shriveled corpses, almost all wearing cassocks, some had been reduced to withered bones, and even the monk's robes were almost gone!
Liu Shuzhu looked awe-inspiring, the clay body in the middle was clearly a living person!
After the two people came in, the other person opened his eyes slightly, and the Buddha's light suddenly appeared. Then he closed his eyes again, and the Buddha's light behind his head also disappeared.
This should be what the young monk called Xuan Monk, he really looked like a dead man.
The wooden ladder spirals up the corner.
On the second floor, there is also a mysterious monk sitting in seclusion, surrounded by the remains of eminent monks. His posture is different from that of the mysterious monk on the first floor. He stands on his head with one palm, as if he is juggling; on the third floor, an old monk points to the ground.
, the whole body is tilted, and the arms are like big rocs spreading their wings; on the fourth floor, there is a monk sitting in mid-air, his whole body spinning like a top, and he has been spinning for who knows how many years...
There are thousands of postures and different forms of Dharma, and they all have their own practices.
Going up layer by layer, the mysterious monk is surrounded by dead bones, which always makes people feel eerie and creepy!
After waiting on the 100th floor, Liu Shuzhu gradually adapted to the atmosphere here, and said to the young monk through sound transmission: "What did you just say? You haven't finished it yet!" You can't make any noise, but you can always talk through sound transmission.
"Let's not talk about it for now. It's useless to talk about it. Maybe you will understand it yourself after you meet the master." The further you go up, the thicker the dust accumulates, and it even reaches the soles of your shoes.
"How lazy are you monks? How many years have you not known how to clean? Is this how it used to be here?"
The young monk shook his head: "This is also my first time entering the pagoda!"
Liu Shuzhu was surprised: "How is that possible?"
"The Leaning Tower of King Ming is a forbidden place for Buddhism. Not everyone can come in if they want to. Over the years, I have only met Master once, that is, when he accepted me as his disciple, he came out of the tower to find me. The rest of the time,
I only heard his old man talking in my ears, but he never showed up."
"Then what did he teach you?"
"Nothing has ever been taught!"
Liu Shuzhu was even more speechless, and thought to himself: Buddhism is really weird, how can this be an advantage to Master?
The top floor of the 365-story ancient pagoda is completely different from the situation below. At the top of the tower, soft light shines down, and the Jinglan relic illuminates the place brightly.
There are no dead bones of eminent monks or walls of ancient pagodas around. Looking at the vastness, you can't see the edges in front, back, left, and right. It's like walking into a dream, a completely different world!
In the grand scene, a man wearing common clothes and with long hair disheveled sat on a five-grade lotus platform, motionless.
On the surface, he does not appear to be a Buddhist, but the feeling his whole body brings to people, including sitting on the lotus platform, is so profound and unpredictable that it is difficult to clearly understand.
Due to the relics in his mind, Liu Shuzhu has always been particularly sensitive to this mysterious Buddhist energy. Except for the great monk Huifan, he has never encountered such a profound Buddha nature accompanying him!
The other party looked like a middle-aged man, with a rather handsome face. Although he did not have the Buddha's light to cover him, he still had a fifth-grade lotus platform!
I am afraid that I will accept the Dafa throughout my life and return to my true nature.
Lay monks, empty possessions.
"Master!"
The young monk hurriedly stepped forward to salute.
Liu Shuzhu also greeted him and said, "I have seen Kongzang Divine Monk."
Kongzang Divine Monk opened his eyes and looked at Liu Shuzhu silently for a while. The latter felt something and his eyebrows felt warm.
"Surely you are blessed with great blessings. I have the relics of the Great Wish Master with me. Where are the beads that the Sixth Patriarch gave you before?"
Liu Shuzhu took out the Juechen Pearl and wanted to hand it over.
"No need." Monk Kongzang just glanced at it lightly, but said: "Since you are chosen by the Sixth Patriarch, I, the Daming King Temple, will definitely respect his decree and regard you as the reincarnation of your great wish." Immediately, his tone changed,
"How much do you know about the future and the heavy responsibilities you will shoulder?"
Kongzang Divine Monk got straight to the point, and Liu Shuzhu didn't need to be polite to him. Because of the unequal status, he couldn't be polite. At the same time, he was also a little confused.
Hearing this, he shook his head and said: "The boy has no fate with the Sixth Patriarch. He is just an unknown bandit from the Eastern Region. His arrival in the desert was purely accidental. It seems to be a coincidence, but it is not what you, the holy monk, thought!"
I'll take advantage of you, but it's up to you to die.
He had never thought of carrying the Buddhist cauldron on his shoulders.
"As for the important responsibility you are talking about, I don't know what it means, let alone what it means. I'm afraid I'm not the person you're looking for. You may be disappointed."
The eyes of Kongzang Divine Monk were full of smiles: "If you don't want to take this responsibility, then where does your behavior come from?"
"Of course it's for..."
In order to defraud treasures and seek wealth, in order to review cross-domain formations, but I can't tell you directly.
"...for an answer!"
Kongzang Divine Monk raised his eyebrows: "Oh?"
"I just want to know, the Great Wish Bodhisattva has gone silent with the ancient times. Why did he choose me instead of others? What does all this mean to me?" There are countless monks in the world, but the relic chose him alone.
"Also, the arhats of the past dynasties of Buddhism have made prophecies about the approaching catastrophe of heaven and earth. Is it related to the monarch in the last years of ancient times? Is this why the Great Wish Bodhisattva is obsessed with it?"
"Good question!"
Kongzang Divine Monk sighed: "Unfortunately, there are so many secrets in heaven and earth that I can't even count them. I am not cultivated enough to understand the great laws of heaven and earth, so I can't answer you."
His attitude was quite surprising. He was so calm when talking about the impending catastrophe and did not show any worry.
"Aren't you curious then?"
Kongzang Divine Monk shook his head and said: "Curiosity itself is also a kind of cause and effect. It is best for Buddhist disciples to not get involved if they uphold the precepts."
In Liu Shuzhu's heart, a sense of resentment suddenly arose, and he bravely contradicted him: "The words of the sacred monk are in line with the teachings of Buddhism. They close their doors and act as quiet monks, worshiping the Buddha they believe in. They kowtow too much and recite
After finishing the sutra and offering incense, you will feel at ease. Whether sentient beings are dead or alive, it has nothing to do with you."
He stood beside him like a real little monk's stake, his eyelids twitching wildly.
The monk Kongzang smiled even more, and was neither annoyed nor angry.
"There is no place in the world as simple as imagined; how can you, a child with a yellow mouth, understand the Dafa I teach?" Liu Shuzhu's ears had become calluses when he heard these words.
Regarding the magnificence of the world and the inside story of ancient mysteries, he has frankly asked questions many times, and everyone claimed that they could not answer them. But no matter who it was, it was just that they could not answer it. He would always add a mystery next, and there was no shortage of it.
Pretending to be a sophisticated suspect.
The young monk hesitated, endured it again and again, and finally asked: "Master, since the Great Wish Bodhisattva and the Sixth Patriarch have chosen him, will our destiny... be broken?"
Fate?
This question makes people very curious. I am afraid that this is what the young monk deliberately concealed from him.
Before the Kongzang Divine Monk could answer, a few strange Jie Jie laughters sounded from the corner, like the cry of a night owl!
"Little fat man, what you have in mind is quite beautiful." The voice of the speaker sounded like a baby, "It's a pity that you can't escape no matter what!"
After hearing this voice, the little monk Ruzhen was frightened. His whole body trembled suddenly, and he was extremely frightened. He immediately stepped forward and subconsciously hid behind Liu Shuzhu!
Even Liu Shuzhu was surprised.
At some point, a white and tender baby appeared beside several people.
The baby is less than a foot tall and looks like he was born after falling to the ground!
His body surface was constantly emitting thousands of rays of holy and flawless light. His whole body seemed to be a work of art carved from suet-fat jade. His blood vessels and organs were crystal clear and translucent, and he looked nothing like a real person!
To be precise, this is a baby monk.
Because he has a ring scar on the top of his head and is full of beauty, he is not wrapped in swaddling clothes, but in plain clothes. On the lapel of his clothes, there is embroidered a picture of the Buddha sitting under the bodhi tree and giving a sermon!
When a warrior's cultivation reaches a certain level, he will be able to remain youthful and not look old during his lifetime, and his true age cannot be judged by his appearance.
But it is rare to see such an image of him rejuvenating his youth and retaining his true nature.
He looks like a baby, but he is able to speak well, and his demeanor is that of someone who has experienced many things in the world.
Not only this baby, but almost at the same moment, another person appeared out of thin air!
But a haggard old monk wearing a straw hat on his head, with a lack of nutrition all over his body and a patched monk's robe, appeared in the top space of the stupa like a magic trick.
The lay monk in Kongzang, with his long hair disheveled, sits calmly and motionlessly on the lotus platform; the infant monk's body is covered with holy light like precious jade, and he has a plain brocade embroidered with a Buddha image.
The old monk in the straw hat seems to be the most ordinary, but there is compassion in his eyes, which seems to be mixed with endless grievances and hatreds, pretending to be a pretense of the past life and the next life. As soon as he opens his eyes, grievances and resentments are clustered; as soon as he closes his eyes, the love and hatred are disillusioned. Inadvertently,
The old monk also brings an unfathomable attitude to people.
The three monks each held a corner and surrounded Liu Shuzhu in the center.
Regarding the appearance of the two people, Kongzang Divine Monk did not have any surprise, but said to them: "Since you two are here, you might as well discuss how to deal with this matter?"
At this time, even if Liu Shuzhu is a fool, he can roughly guess the identities of the other two!
The stupa is the holy place of Damingwang Temple. Even Abbot Yande dare not enter without permission. However, the two people appeared on the highest floor of the pagoda out of thin air. They came and went as they pleased. The enchantment created by this place could not stop them, and their identities were clearly revealed.
It is said that each of the three major temples has a sacred monk.
