The old monk in a straw hat and the lay monk Kongzang were in front of each other, blocking the baby monk in the middle.
The baby monk was shaken by the sudden bowl and said angrily: "Since the Shishi Temple has expressed its stance, why are you messing with it!"
The old monk in the straw hat sang and said to him: "If you two hold the ancient relics and fight, the huge city will collapse, and your four thousand years of practice will be destroyed. This is a big mistake, old monk
Not allowed!"
Originally, the infant monk's momentum was even higher than that of the Kongzang Divine Monk, but now the two of them had no chance of winning against him alone.
There was no trace of Buddhist compassion in the baby monk, but instead there was endless hostility. His eyes were full of resentment, and he looked at Liu Shuzhu fiercely, feeling extremely unwilling to do so.
The matter has reached this point, everyone has already picked up the guy, and it is useless to say anything nice.
A sharp look flashed in Liu Shuzhu's eyes, and he pushed the young monk's hand away unwilling to be outdone, and opened his mouth to curse again.
It was not that he was ignorant of the general situation, but he could see that the baby monk really wanted to kill him!
The other party is the ancestor of a temple, and his status is second only to the golden Arhat. How should he fight?
Liu Shuzhu knew that he was powerless to resist. Without the protection of the other two divine monks, he would have absolutely no hope of surviving if he bumped into this baby monk again in the future. It would be better to take advantage of the two divine monks' advantage and add fuel to the fire.
Completely irritating the baby monk and making the situation irreversible!
If the three of them start fighting, the baby monk will definitely be unable to defeat the other two who join forces, and he will be seriously injured even if he is not dead!
Liu Shuzhu's unruly attitude is also reflected here.
The old monk with a straw hat seemed to have read through his mind and slowly shook his head at him. Liu Shuzhu immediately felt that his mouth was sealed. He tried his best, but couldn't say a word, so he had to glare at the old man angrily.
A monk glance.
Although killing someone with a borrowed knife is a bit insidious, who would be morally responsible in order to save their lives?
After a stalemate like this for a while, the old monk Cao Li persuaded you: "If you have resentment in your heart, we will not force you. But if you want the younger generations to make their own decisions, then you should not lower yourself to take action."
The old monk turned to the Kongzang Divine Monk and said, "You and I, let's just let it go and ignore it. What do you think?" Kongzang Divine Monk looked at Liu Shuzhu with a somewhat hesitant expression.
"I changed my mind!"
At this time, the little monk Ruzhen spoke, and he bowed to the infant monk and accused him.
"I will go to the Bodhi Temple the next day to settle my own cause and effect. Since nothing can be changed in the end, please don't embarrass my brother. All this... is my fault and has nothing to do with him!"
If he hadn't been unable to speak, Liu Shuzhu would have scolded him loudly, not to blame him for bringing him into trouble, but to scold him for accepting his fate like this.
What does the little monk want to change?
This is probably the key.
The young monk had said before that he had tricked Liu Shuzhu. But he was a simple-minded person and had no evil intentions. Even if something bad happened to Liu Shuzhu, it might not be because of the young monk's original intention.
Liu Shuzhu believes in his own vision of people.
The monk Kongzang sighed softly and said to the young monk: "After running so many times, you have finally decided this time?"
"Yeah." The young monk nodded heavily, "Since it's destined, you can't escape, and running away would be boring."
"Okay then." Kongzang Divine Monk turned to the baby monk and said, "You heard it. In the future, no matter who lives or dies, everything will be determined by fate, and you and I can no longer interfere, how about that?"
"This is the best!" The baby monk put away the Bodhi root, but the murderous intent in his eyes still did not fade away.
"It can take as long as thirty or fifty days, or as long as ten days or eight years. No matter which of the two of you comes to Bodhi Temple, I will let my good disciple kill you justifiably!" After the baby monk finished speaking, he came out of the pagoda without looking back.
And go.
The old monk in the grass hat also said "good", nodded and disappeared.
There were only three people left in the pagoda again. Kongzang Divine Monk sat cross-legged and sat back on the fifth-grade lotus platform: "You two can go too."
As soon as the old monk Cao Li retreated, the power that restrained Liu Shuzhu disappeared. He was able to speak. Just when he was about to speak again, a powerful force was swung out. The two of them seemed to be in the clouds and fog, and they appeared in a flash.
Outside the ancient pagoda.
Bang!
The tower door is closed.
The voice of Kongzang Divine Monk said: "You two will make your own decisions in everything. When you are ready, go to Bodhi Temple and decide whether to win or lose. If so, I can't help you."
Liu Shuzhu was both unjustly accused and angry. The unexpected incident happened suddenly and he got into trouble as soon as he entered Daming Temple. What's even more annoying is that until now, he has not fully figured out what happened!
"You bald guys don't have any good stuff!"
He kept shouting, couldn't help but sacrificed the Juechen Pearl, and smashed it at the tower door, wanting to go in again and ask for more information.
The young monk was shocked and stopped him in advance. He closed his eyes and stood in front of the pagoda door, as if he was at your mercy.
"Get out of the way!" Liu Shuzhu couldn't get rid of his bad temper.
"Stop messing around. I can't help you. I'll tell you everything when I get back. After I go to Bodhi Temple, you can leave."
There was deep helplessness in the young monk's words, and he sounded as if his heart was filled with despair. Only then did Liu Shuzhu return to the Zen room with him.
…
"What's going on? Tell me."
Liu Shuzhu believed that although Huifan Arhat personally gave him a rosary, it did not necessarily mean that he would be the successor of the three major temples. Even if it had this meaning, it would not make him die or live.
.Looking at the attitude of the baby monk, the revenge of killing his father and seizing his wife is nothing more than this.
The young monk was silent for a long time and then said: "Do you know why I ran away?"
Liu Shuzhu frowned: "Because the great catastrophe of heaven and earth is approaching, you are afraid that you will not be able to shoulder the heavy responsibility of Buddhism!"
"Not entirely." The young monk's eyes were very confused. "This is just one of the reasons. The other reason is the monk 'Yichen' in Bodhi Temple."
"Monk Yichen? He is the apprentice of the baby monk?" Liu Shuzhu asked puzzledly, "If you can't compete with him, then don't compete with him. As for the position of Buddhist successor, what is there to fight for? Besides, you don't want to be a monk all your life.
!”
If you can't fight, just don't fight. Isn't that okay?
The little monk kept saying things that were not shocking: "You still don't understand, one of us... must die!" Looking at his sad expression, one can't help but feel pity, "I can't beat him, so I ran away!"
After hearing this, Liu Shuzhu felt his internal organs churn, and he was so angry that he shouted: "Who set these bullshit rules!"
As the saying goes, there is no perfect way for people in heaven, and there is a good life on earth.
Even if there is still a glimmer of life left in heaven and earth, how can the teachings in Buddhism predict that one of the two will die!?
"This is our fate."
"Fuck fate!" Liu Shuzhu glared, completely disappointed with Buddhism.
"Isn't there anyone in the Buddhist sect who cares about this kind of thing? Abbot Yande doesn't care about it. Nor does the lay monk Kongzang care about it? Not even the great monk Huifan cares about it?"
Seeing the sad expression on the young monk's face, he already knew the answer. Apart from the shock in his heart, there was only naked contempt.
"A bunch of thieves are bald and hypocritical."
Liu Shuzhu thought for a while and said to the young monk: "As I said, I don't want to get involved in the bad things among you. If you don't want to be a monk, no one can force you. Let's find a way to leave this place and let Buddhism
It’s better for the descendant to die, and you don’t need to stay in this temple anymore. Return to secular life as soon as possible, travel around the world with me, and be free and at ease. When the time comes, come back to the Eastern Region with me..."
The young monk shook his head: "If you want to return to the Eastern Region, relying on your own strength, I'm afraid a few hundred years won't be enough."
"Then there will always be other ways!"
In short, Liu Shuzhu's remaining good impression of Buddhism was gone.
The little monk Ruzhen seemed to be moved, but he said in a haphazard manner: "Do you know what Buddha is?"
Buddha is not of my species.
But to be more specific, even the ancient sages did not know the specific existence of ‘Buddha’. This issue had already been discussed with Monk Yanji halfway through the journey, but I don’t know why he brought it up again.
"What I mean is, in a sense, what is Buddha?"
Liu Shuzhu was very angry at his stubbornness and said angrily: "I don't know!"
"The Buddha is supreme, unparalleled, and surpasses all sages. The five truths of ending, realization, four bodies, merit, and five wisdoms are combined together to become the Buddha."
Judgment, realization, merit, four bodies, five wisdoms.
At first, Huifan Luohan mentioned it personally, and later, Liu Shuzhu also specifically asked monk Yanji for advice.
Cutting off refers to the nirvana state where all troubles and obstacles are cut off.
Certification refers to complete enlightenment.
Merit refers to the inconceivable and immeasurable merit gained after being judged and realized.
The four bodies refer to the four bodies possessed by the Buddha. The Buddha often showed people in these four images.
The five wisdoms mean that the Buddha possesses five incomparable great wisdoms.
Simply put, these five truths are the five causes of Buddhahood!
If we talk about it in depth, except for those eminent monks who have deeply understood the essence of Buddhism, it is difficult for the world to understand.
The Buddhist Dharma is vast and boundless. The Five True Truths are neither exercises nor precious meanings. They are a kind of Buddhist concept that can only be understood but cannot be expressed. They are not of much use in the complicated path of martial arts.
.
"It doesn't matter whether it's 'interrupted' or 'continuous'. No one in the entire ancient times knew about Buddha. Who can explain clearly? Why are you talking about this now!"
If everyone in the world understood this, wouldn’t everyone be able to become a Buddha and become an ancestor?
Next, the little monk said another sentence, which turned Liu Shuzhu to stone on the spot.
He said: "I just broke it off."
As soon as these words came out, Liu Shuzhu was stunned for a moment, lost his mind for a moment, and then said in disbelief: "What did you say?"
"Have you forgotten, I was born with the form of a powerful Vajra, and I have been worry-free since I was a child. The so-called worry-free means that I have penetrated the two obstacles of 'troubles' and 'knowledge', and my state is completely natural. This principle
, cannot be explained from the perspective of martial arts. It doesn’t matter if you don’t understand, but my fate with Buddhism lies here.”
The young monk could only smile bitterly.
"Put it another way, you may understand that in a certain sense, I... am one-fifth of the Buddha."
