Chapter 104 The Demon Monk Under the Bodhi Tree

Bodhi Temple, also known as "Xumi Bodhi Temple".

Standing side by side with the other two major temples, it spreads the great Dharma of Sumeru Bodhi Buddha to future generations, making its Buddha's power undiminished and passed down from ancient times!

In Bodhi teachings, it is often said that there are three thousand great thousand worlds and one hundred thousand small thousand worlds.

And these so-called "Great Thousands" and "Little Thousands" are only the teaching place of one Buddha, and they do not represent all. Every Buddha has such a teaching place as his country or dojo!

To sum up, the vast universe has neither a beginning nor an end in time; in terms of space, it is vast and boundless, and its boundaries are difficult to detect. It can be called "infinite".

In immeasurable space, there are countless Buddhas!

There are countless Buddhas, but only Bodhi is the most respected!

Sumeru and mustard seeds are only between the rising and falling thoughts of Bodhi Buddha.

This means that all "space" is just an appearance, existing only because of the thoughts of Sumeru Bodhi Buddha.

When one thought arises, there are three thousand big worlds and one hundred thousand small worlds are born; when one thought ends, the corresponding world will fall apart and cannot exist independently outside the mind of the Buddha.

Of course, only Bodhi's lineage believes this concept of space to be true, but outsiders never agree.

The ancient sages were the first to deny it.

Compared with the same era, although the Bodhisattvas of Buddhism are indeed noble, looking at the ancient times, the number, achievements, and influence of Bodhisattvas are absolutely weak compared to the sages!

The Great Wish Bodhisattva is revered as the Bodhisattva "closest to the Buddha". Isn't it the same as the sage of the Dharma who became a monk halfway?

Become an ancient sage first, and then become a Bodhisattva.

The world of Zhongzhou includes the east, west, south, north, middle and five regions. This is the real world!

As for what kind of space shape is outside Zhongzhou, although it still needs to be verified, it will never be like what is described in the Bodhi teachings.

The immeasurable Buddhaland is just a metaphor here, implying that the Dharma is boundless and the Buddha is supreme. Its function is nothing more than to set off the supreme image of Bodhi Buddha, but it cannot be confused with the real concept of space.

To put it bluntly, they are all fallacies made up to deceive monks, but they are actually all false.

Not only do outsiders disagree, but monks from the other two major factions also won't agree.

Your Bodhi Buddha is the supreme among Buddhas, so are the Tenth Buddha and Fudo Mingwang Buddha that we enshrine, all just for deception?

This matter needs to be discussed carefully.

Besides, the Buddhist sect in China believes in the Buddha among Buddhas, known as the Great Sun Tathagata Buddha, and claims to have inherited the Mahayana orthodoxy. For such a sect's teachings, the sacred monks in China will definitely stand up and express some dissatisfaction!

The status of the many Buddhas is high and low. Who is first and who is last? It can be said that the benevolent sees benevolence and the wise see wisdom.

Buddhist sects have different ideas. Fortunately, the eminent monks uphold the precepts and cultivate their minds, so there won't be too extreme fights. This is also true of Buddhism. If other sects were fighting like this, they would have ended up in a pot of porridge.

!

But it is precisely for this reason that among the major sects, the monks in Bodhi Temple are the least liked by other sects.

Bodhi has produced crazy monks since ancient times.

However, as one of the three major temples and the temple where the "Fourth Patriarch Arhat" once practiced, its status in Buddhism cannot be easily shaken!

Behind the temple, there is a gentle bulging slope, which is independent of the surrounding meditation rooms and monks' residences and can be opened and closed for no more than a few miles.

On the gentle slope, there are fragrant grasses and fragrant flowers, and a thick old tree grows at the highest point!

The tree is verdant, handsome and tall.

The aerial roots hang down like bead curtains, and among the horizontal branches and green leaves, there are several walnut-shaped fruits. The skin is dry and plain, but full of natural textures, which are full of Buddhist charm and are faintly visible.

The branches and leaves, trunks and tips are constantly emitting a massive amount of green essence, majestic and ethereal, like a haze, making the whole tree look like a burning green torch!

The essence surges endlessly, rushing into the sky one after another, converging into a towering tree shadow, gathering and dispersing, and coming out of the dust in a mysterious way.

Under the tree, stood a very beautiful young monk.

beautiful.

This word is inappropriate to describe a man, but when used on this young monk, it is not offensive at all. It only makes people feel that it is impossible to fully explain how moving his appearance is!

Her dark eyebrows contributed to the wanderer's hatred, and her face was almost as beautiful as any other woman in the world.

At this moment, even if Yan Meier, whose charm is unparalleled and can turn all living beings upside down, is standing next to him, it is difficult to compete with her!

Unfortunately, he is a monk.

The young monk frowned slightly, and the brilliant mountain flowers closed their eyes shyly, as if they were embarrassed to look back at him.

He is the "good disciple" in the mouth of the baby monk, the current successor of Bodhi Temple - Yichen.

Monk Yichen has a refined and elegant temperament. He wears a white one-piece monk's robe with wide sleeves and a long lapel. The hem reaches the floor. The material of his clothes is soft and silky, as if it was made of moonlight.

His demeanor is dignified and upright, and his image does not appear to be different between men and women. However, because his face is so perfect, it always adds a bit of evil to the whole image!

This is a demon monk.

Not far away, the baby monk sat cross-legged on the grass under the tree.

"You clearly know that touching the bodhi root will harm the tree it transformed into, so why did you move it?" Monk Yichen said unhappily.

When the baby monk heard this, he stood up and walked up to him like a child.

He raised his head and said to him: "My good disciple, isn't this what I have to do as a teacher? Shi Changmao sacrificed the Jinglan relic. If I don't confront him with the Bodhi root, I will suffer a big loss!"

The tone of his voice was full of fawning, and the baby monk looked like a newborn, making it difficult for outsiders to tell the difference between elder and younger. Those who didn't know would probably die without believing that Monk Yichen was the apprentice of the baby monk.

It’s even more unbelievable that for such a baby monk, he would have such a ‘flattery’ expression on his face!

A few bodhi leaves fell from the branches. As soon as they left the tree, they began to wither and turned into ashes before they fell to the ground.

Monk Yichen let out a slight 'chi', but his face still looked ugly.

The baby monk hurriedly tried to please him again: "I promise, Master, I won't dare to do it next time, I really won't!"

After hearing what he said, Monk Yichen's expression softened slightly, and he continued: "The Bodhisattva reincarnates at the right time, and you have seen it with your own eyes. How is he...?"

When it came to business, the baby monk was still a little angry, and the aura of the peerless divine monk returned again.

He said proudly: "It is said that this is the reincarnation of the Bodhisattva. In fact, it is just a coincidence that the Bodhisattva's relics were obtained. It is definitely not the rebirth of the Great Wish Bodhisattva as the rumors say."

The baby monk's eyes were so vicious. When he was in the pagoda, he could see through the mystery of Liu Shuzhu at a glance.

"Ancient times are over. Even if Bodhisattvas and sages want to be reincarnated, they may be unable to do so. Otherwise, if the great powers of ancient times have the opportunity to come to the world again, wouldn't the status of the great emperors and Arhats become very embarrassing?

?”

Time flies and goes by in a hurry.

This is a truth that can never be changed!

No matter how courageous the ancient people were, it was no more than a dream to think of resurrecting and returning across a hundred thousand or even millions of years!

Monk Yichen shook his head and said: "The Great Wish Bodhisattva has always been regarded as a taboo by our Buddhist sect, and the times have passed because of him, but why would you choose that person to be your host? Aren't you surprised?" The idea is completely different from that of the infant monk.

Although he had never met Liu Shuzhu, there was no contempt in his words.

To be precise, the decline of the ancient times was caused by the birth of the unknown monarch. Before the Great Wish Bodhisattva became a monk, he killed him with all his strength and left five of his souls in the ancient world, saving all living beings.

This is a great merit, to a certain extent, it can even be said to be no less than that of the Buddhas!

But in the legend, it was precisely because the great sage of the end of the Dharma personally set foot in the mysterious ancient places in the five directions, was contaminated with the cause and effect that he should not be contaminated in those places, and spied on the secrets of heaven, so he was cursed by God!

Coupled with the strange news that after he escaped into Buddhism, he finally went to the "Netherworld Hell" without a trace, his relics are naturally extremely ominous.

The baby monk continued: "In ancient times, there were so many Bodhisattva venerables. Whose relics did he get? It was not good, but he was related to the Blood Bodhisattva. In the eyes of outsiders, this may be a good thing, but honestly speaking, it is

Whether it is a blessing or a curse is yet to be determined. My dear disciple, you don’t need to worry. If he comes with that little fat man, just kill him together!"

"At that time, you will not only be able to integrate one of the five true truths, 'Juan', but when the ancient burial place of the Buddha is fully revealed, you can hold the great wish relic and go to get the blue lamp Buddha vessel. Fate, blessings, opportunities, these things will come together

, the day of becoming a Buddha is just around the corner!”

Monk Yichen said: "I hope it is as you think. One day, if I become a Buddha, I will respect you as a Buddhist master."

After saying that, the two of them turned their heads in unison and looked in the direction of Damingwang Temple.

There the precious energy soars into the sky, the rainbow clouds linger, and the heaven and earth are dazzled!

The baby monk snorted coldly: "It seems they are still determined not to give up, fearing that they will give up all the meager wealth they have saved for tens of thousands of years. Unfortunately, their efforts are still in vain."

He wanted to say more, but he saw Monk Yichen picking two bodhi seeds from the tree, holding them in his left and right palms, and said to him lukewarmly: "I'm going to sit in meditation. Master, please go ahead."

"Okay, I will rely on you as a teacher, and I will rely on you in everything as a teacher!"

The baby monk had a playful smile on his face, his dignity was reversed, and he retreated obediently.

In Damingwang Temple, outside the Zen room where Liu Shuzhu lives, treasures are piled up on the grass in the courtyard, like a hill!

"That's all?"

Liu Shuzhu stood next to Baoshan, shrouded in all kinds of shining lights, with glazes and glazes flickering on and off. His face was full of undisguised greed.

The little monk also stood aside and swallowed wildly!

Abbot Yande seemed to be smiling but not smiling, and said: "These precious treasures are rare treasures that are unique in ten thousand. Even if they are refined by a true martial artist, their cultivation will improve by leaps and bounds. All the treasure pavilions in the temple have been evacuated.

The treasures that can be obtained are all here."

Behind him, there were more than a dozen old monks with the Buddha's light standing on their heads, surrounding the small courtyard with water, and the security was tighter than ever before!

Buddhism, unlike other sects, pays more attention to the cultivation of one's own destiny, focusing on cultivating the mind and obtaining the Dharma as the marrow. However, it is inferior to other major forces in terms of accumulating spiritual objects and forging magical weapons.

However, what Abbot Yande said is true.

These spiritual treasures condense the purest essence in the world. Each one is extraordinary and dazzling. There is also a handful of crystals the size of melon seeds, which look like divine crystals at a glance!

How could Liu Shuzhu not see it? He asked casually, just to test whether they had any reservations.

"We are two brothers, each of us has half. As long as you can't hold it to death, just eat it!"

When he was in Qingshan City, little monk Ruzhen ate a lot of Yuluoguo, and there were already signs of a breakthrough. If he had enough energy, his strength would definitely increase greatly, and his cultivation would be promoted to at least the fifth level.

To practice, you cannot rely entirely on external objects, but also depends on your personal understanding and talent. The further you get to the later stages, the weaker the assistive role of treasures will be. Otherwise, there will be countless true martial arts masters who rely on their spiritual essence to reach the top.

!

Fortunately, the young monk is not a layman either.

Abbot Yande added: "These spiritual creatures are with you, but there is a condition."
