Chapter 174 Who knows the ancient sad songs

"Hahaha, Venerable Great Wish, we were separated in the past, but are you okay now?"

The image of the golden-bodied Arhat is truly unrivaled. His eyes are blazing with Buddha's light, as if cast from gold, and evil spirits and monsters cannot escape from him.

From a long distance away, Hui Fan Arhat raised his voice, his voice was like a bell, and his words were like thunder. He shouted at Liu Shuzhu, and his feet were striding like meteors. As soon as his words fell, people also arrived in front of him like a whirlwind.

Liu Shuzhu secretly rolled his eyes. He had almost lost his life several times in a row and was in a very embarrassed state. Did he look like he was 'all right'?

"The great monk has a bad heart, so I'm asking too many questions!"

At this moment, his mood was very complicated, feeling both fortunate and somewhat resentful.

Fortunately, everyone had no way out and life and death were hanging in the balance. Huifan Arhat finally showed up in time to rescue him; but what made him resentful was that the old bald donkey refused to come out to meet him at first!

"Master is well."

"Bodhi Monk Xuansen, pay homage to the Sixth Patriarch!"

"Jianren, my junior, please see the Dharma of the Golden Body Arhat!"

The current situation did not allow for politeness. Several people faced the resentment around them and were on guard. They quickly said something as a courtesy to the Arhat.

Hui Fan Arhat also said: "No need to say more, let's go with the great monk first!" After saying this, he wanted to lead a few people out of the dangerous place.

However, those ancient resentments surrounding him never let go!

"Om...well...ne...ba...mi...hum..."

The Buddha's name is loud and the six-character mantra is spoken again, and the thick Buddhist aura is billowing and surging in all directions!

Just like the first time he heard the six-character mantra, Liu Shuzhu felt that the blood relics in his head were extremely hot, but this time the appearance of the Great Wish Bodhisattva was not manifested.

The streets were filled with dense crowds of people. After being washed away by the sound of the Buddha, not only did they not disperse, but they gathered more and more densely!

Among them, there are even many "people" dressed as Buddhists, with relics on their heads, or wearing cassocks, holding wooden fish in their hands, with a look of resentment in their eyes, blocking the street with the resentment of the ancient sages!

In this situation, in the eyes of a few people who were unable to see these resentments, they saw strange-shaped magical artifacts floating from every street corner, each of which was a treasure of a sage or a Bodhisattva's magical artifact, and the number was outrageous.

In the eyes of several people, they were even more frightened than Liu Shuzhu. They knew clearly that there were "people" standing around the magic weapon, but they couldn't see it. You can imagine this feeling!

Huifan Arhat frowned and turned to look at Jun Yao beside Liu Shuzhu, silent for a moment.

"You all are so shameless. It's a shame that future generations will respect you as saints and bodhisattvas, offering incense and worshiping you day and night!"

Then, Hui Fan Arhat looked around and passed the magic tools one by one with his right index finger. In fact, he was pointing at the invisible resentment of holding the magic tools and cursed loudly.

"When you were alive, you were all earth-shaking big figures in ancient times. You dominated the world and were powerful in all directions. You can be said to be very famous."

"You are high-spirited, the great monk can understand, the saints shed blood and the Bodhisattva cries. Standing at such a position and height, you are destined to have a tortuous life. Your life is really not easy. After you have achieved Dafa, it will be even more difficult to fight and kill.

Whether it’s destroying demons, slaying demons or slaying immortals, they have really contributed a lot to our human race..."

Huifan Arhat spoke impassionedly and in a sonorous tone. He pointed at an unremarkable white-haired old man with a stooped figure.

"Great Sage Zhengbei, you rose to prominence relatively early. At that time, ancient times were set, and the sages fell one after another. The barbarians took the opportunity to enter the country in large numbers. Zhongzhou fell one after another. Among the five lands, only Southern Xinjiang was in danger. Our human race was reduced to pigs and dogs.

, to survive in this world, it was you who led the people through those difficult years..."

Except for Liu Shuzhu and Jun Yao, the others only saw a broken crutch standing there alone.

"It was you who cried blood and sang loudly again, leading the human race to fight back to the death, and finally drove the barbarians back, and rushed into the depths of the wilderness together. If it hadn't been plotted by many ancient barbarian kings, you would not have died in a foreign land and suffered all kinds of torture.

As for when the bones were returned to their hometown, the descendants only took home a pool of dried blood and mud... You died unjustly!!"

"But your death is worth it!!"

At this point, Hui Fan Arhat's eyes were already a little red: "If you hadn't severely damaged the vitality of the barbarians, it would have been impossible for the Great Sage Fuman to pacify the barbarians in one fell swoop. In the final analysis, you took the lead after all!"

He then turned to an elegant young man.

"Wenyuan Daxian, although you have done nothing and have no great achievements, you have even relied on your strength to bully the weak, which is despised by future generations. But that year, the entrance to the netherworld suddenly loosened, and the unparalleled demon king was about to be born. It was you who did not hesitate to tear

Split the flesh and blood of half your body, re-condensed the seal, and forced the Demon King back to the netherworld... Then you can only fill half of your body with rotten wood. This pain has followed you all your life..."

The image of the young man looks very terrifying, because half of his body and the smaller half of his head are not made of flesh and blood, but are carved into a human shape out of wood, with one eye drawn on with a black pen.

"Bodhisattva Faqing, looking at the whole of ancient times, you are among the top ten Bodhisattvas. The demon king of ancient times chewed your head to pieces, but he could not bite off your heart of protecting the human race. You died miserably.

..." Among the crowd, a headless monk walked out in response, holding a Zen staff in his hand.

The resentments of ancient sages and bodhisattvas stand silently on the long street.

The old clothes and dilapidated figure of each person are enough to prove that they have used their lives to write down one evocative story after another!

But those stories were lost in the long years and unknown to future generations.

When Liu Shuzhu and others heard these words, their hearts became choked.

What a huge price the ancient sages paid for the continuation of the human race!

Hui Fan Arhat listed the names and deeds of more than a dozen ancient sages before sighing, "No one will erase your contributions!"

"But the past is what it is. Now that it has sunk to this level, we cannot put all the blame on Da Yuan!"

"The great monk knows that if he hadn't moved the temple for you, and if he hadn't made you look like this, you would have rested in peace long ago, and that's what you deserve!"

"But when the chess game is played, someone has to play it!"

"You and I are just discarded pieces on the chessboard. In the final analysis, this is fate. The great monk has no regrets. What complaints do you have!"

...Is it the Great Wish Bodhisattva who moved these ancestral halls and temples into the ancient burial site of the Buddha? Or is it the Great Wish Bodhisattva who made the deceased sages become inhuman and ghostless like they are today!

Big wish!

The last Bodhisattva in the world, how poisonous and ruthless his heart must be, so that these ancients who dedicated their lives to the human race in life cannot rest in peace after death!

The grievances are overwhelming and will last through the ages.

Liu Shuzhu's eyes filled with tears. Even if these resentments rushed forward and tore him to pieces, he would not be unwilling or afraid at all.

thump!

Liu Shuzhu suddenly fell to his knees and kowtowed heavily at every street intersection!

Those resentments stared at him silently.

"stand up!"

Huifan Arhat's angry face suddenly appeared, and he suddenly shouted at Liu Shuzhu.

"What the Great Wish Bodhisattva did was not out of selfish desires. How do you know that he was not doing it for the benefit of all living beings? He went into the netherworld alone and died an even worse death. Did he ever complain!"

"If he is not wrong, why are you kneeling down? Since you have inherited the relics of the great wish, you must shoulder the backbone of the great wish!"

Liu Shuzhu continued to scold him angrily, but remained unmoved and bowed respectfully in every direction.

Behind him, everyone except Jun Yao knelt on their knees. They did not stop because of Arhat's stop. Like Liu Shuzhu, they kowtowed respectfully to the surrounding streets!

After the ceremony, Liu Shuzhu stood up, turned around and looked around, scanning the resentful faces one by one.

"These ringing heads do not represent the Bodhisattva Great Wish. They are just knocked by a little thief from later generations. Moreover, they are done willingly, not because of what the Bodhisattva Great Wish has done to you, but as a descendant of the human race, grateful to all the sages.

What you did during your lifetime! Without you, there would be no present and future of the human race!"

Liu Shuzhu stepped forward and approached those ancient grievances. Although Hui Fan Arhat did not stop him, the Buddha's light behind his head lit up, and he was obviously worried.

Liu Shuzhu continued: "I don't have great wishes, but the sages have hatred in their hearts and regard me as him. Whether it's killing him or beheading him, I will let you know. I won't blame you."

Liu Shuzhu's face was especially stained with tears, but his eyes were calm and he closed his eyes calmly.

"Why!"

After a while, a hollow sigh suddenly came from in front of him. In Jun Yao's eyes, the stooped white-haired old man sighed heavily, turned around, and walked towards the other end of the street, shaking his head.

There was still overwhelming resentment in his eyes, but he just left.

The remaining resentments also began to move, and the second, third... one by one left silently.
