Chapter 72 Five places to control the soul of the king

The five places suppress the king’s soul.

A legend involving the end of ancient times.

The authenticity of that legend cannot be tested, but it marked the end of a great era.

Since then, saints and sages have disappeared one after another, and the stage of the strong has come to an end. No sages have been born in the land of Zhongzhou, and even the Bodhisattvas of the same level as the sages in Buddhism have been annihilated in ancient history.

What is ancient times?

At the beginning of the prosperity of martial arts, one hundred thousand years ago, it can be traced back to the infinite period of ignorance, which can be called the ancient era. For an era, its magnificence is nothing more than the 'beginning' and the 'end'.

No one knows whether that magnificent period lasted hundreds of thousands, millions, or hundreds of millions of years. But its end is inseparable from two people!

An unknown monarch, a great sage at the end of the dharma.

It is said that at the end of ancient times, Zhongzhou was in chaos, the sky wept with blood, and the earth screamed. All because of the emergence of a supreme monarch, which triggered a catastrophe that swept the world.

The monarch carries a monument with no words in the sky, which reaches all over the sky and cave, and threatens to come to destroy the world!

No one knows the origin of that monarch, and no one can resist the majesty of the monarch. Even with all the efforts of Zhongzhou, he can't stop him, and he is killed one after another by the Wordless Sky Monument!

Wherever the monarch's power reaches, it can be said that the sun and the moon have no light, the mountains and rivers are destroyed, and the whole world surrenders at his feet.

I thought that this catastrophe would never end, and the human race in Zhongzhou could not escape the fate of being destroyed. But at the right time, a great sage from the end of the Dharma emerged in response to the disaster, turned the tide, killed the monarch in anger, and saved the five worlds in Zhongzhou!

In that era, whether there really was a monarch who wreaked havoc on the earth as in the legend, the young monk didn't know much better than Liu Shuzhu. After all, it was just an extreme legend, and many details could not be detailed. It was just passed down from generation to generation. Later, it was passed down through generations.

Whether it is an exaggeration or distortion of the long evolution, no one dares to say what the truth is.

But there are also people who say with certainty that the collective changes in the rules of heaven and earth are related to that monarch.

Liu Shuzhu frowned secretly.

Qin Mubai once said to him that at the end of ancient times, the rules of heaven and earth collectively changed. It was not that manpower was not as good as the sages, but that the situation of heaven and earth had changed. The mysterious connection between man and the world was cut off. Martial arts flourished, and sages and sages practiced great methods.

But it declined because of this.

The rules of heaven and earth are extremely vague, and it is difficult to understand what kind of power they represent.

The four seasons of spring and summer, sunset and moonrise, can be regarded as the rules of the world. How could the sages dare to tamper with the laws of heaven and earth that have been passed down from ancient times?

Liu Shuzhu was fascinated by what he heard, but did not interrupt him.

The Great Sage of Mo Dharma was the last sage in ancient times. After killing the unknown monarch, he completely destroyed the monarch's body.

But your soul is immortal and cannot be erased!

This sage had no choice but to use his great magic power to tear the emperor's soul apart, travel around the world, and suppress the five emperor's souls in the five major regions of Zhongzhou, which is known in history as the five regions of the world that suppress the emperor's soul!

As we all know, Zhongzhou is divided into five major regions, the Eastern Region, the Western Desert, the Southern Border, the Northern Border, and the Central Territory.

In each domain, there is a mysterious ancient land, which has stood on the land of Zhongzhou since the beginning of the creation of heaven and earth.

However, except for the sages and sages, no one in the world has ever found those ancient places. As for who built it and when it was built, there is no way to tell. In the vast Western Desert, the mysterious ancient place points directly to the Qinglantern Burial Buddha.

The location was used by the great sages of the Mo Dharma to suppress the split monarch soul!

Hearing this, Liu Shuzhu did not expect that he would actually ask about such an old incident.

What’s more, I never expected that the Qingdeng Buddhist Burial Temple has such an extraordinary origin!

However, even if the great sage of the late Dharma kills the unknown monarch, even if his merits are as great as the heavens and his power is unparalleled, what is the direct connection between all this and the Great Wish Bodhisattva?

The young monk clasped his hands together and said in an urn voice: "The great sage at the end of the Dharma is the Great Wish Bodhisattva."

Liu Shuzhu stared.

But the young monk went on to say: "Don't you find it strange? In ancient times, Buddhism was at its peak, and there were not a few eminent monks who could achieve the status of Bodhisattva. But among the four great Bodhisattvas throughout ancient history, why was there only one in the last years of ancient times?

The Great Wish Bodhisattva is recognized as the strongest?"

The four great bodhisattvas of ancient times: great wisdom, great conduct, great compassion, and great wishes!

The two Bodhisattvas, Dazhi and Daxing, both attained enlightenment in the early years of ancient times. Their status is extremely respected, and Buddhist disciples dare not overstep it. They have always been regarded as the founders of Buddhism by future generations!

Some people even say that the Buddhist sect was originally founded by Bodhisattva Dazhi, and then flourished in the hands of Bodhisattva Daxing, who built temples and shrines to establish Buddhas!

This means that the so-called Buddhas were made up by Bodhisattva Dazhi and Bodhisattva Dharma, and they are the real ancestors. Since the place where the Buddha is buried in Qingdeng has existed for a long time, after seeing the lost halls of the Buddhas,

, this conjecture is naturally untenable.

But this also shows the status of these two Bodhisattvas in the hearts of future generations!

The Great Compassionate Bodhisattva is widely known in the middle and late period of ancient times. He has compassion for heaven and earth and has boundless power. With the body of a female, he has established the status of Bodhisattva. Whenever he sees the suffering in the world, he must take care of everything and save everyone. In ordinary life,

In the hearts of the people, they admire her far more than the first two!

As for the Great Wish Bodhisattva, not to mention that no one in the world has heard of it. It is even rarely mentioned in Buddhist scriptures and is a taboo in Buddhism.

In the original words of the young monk Ruzhen: "In Buddhism, there are many disciples who do not know the identity of the Great Wish Bodhisattva. It is even impossible to see a temple dedicated to the Great Wish Bodhisattva in the whole world, let alone a statue."

Liu Shuzhu happened to bump into a clay sculpture of the Great Wish Bodhisattva, with a relic hidden between his eyebrows!

In the eyes of those who know the truth, the Great Wish Bodhisattva is revered as the person closest to the Buddha!

"The last Bodhisattva in ancient times is also the most amazing one, and the one closest to the Buddha!" This sentence was said by Hui Fan Arhat himself to Liu Shuzhu, and it cannot be false.

The little monk went through a lot of trouble, and only then did the truth come out!

The reason why the Great Wish Bodhisattva is more powerful than the other three great Bodhisattvas is because he himself is an ancient great sage with extraordinary strength!

Long before he became a monk, he had the ability to kill the unknown monarch who threatened to destroy the world! For such a great man, after escaping into Buddhism, and then attaining the status of Bodhisattva, he would not be able to do anything but defy heaven!

Liu Shuzhu was surprised and asked doubtfully: "The great sages of the late Dharma are so powerful. Aren't they invincible in the world? Why would they choose to become a monk?"

The young monk scratched his head innocently: "I don't know either. But..."

"But what?"

"...The Great Wish Bodhisattva is a taboo in Buddhism and has always been accompanied by unknown legends. He entered the Buddhist path by killing people. Although he practiced Dafa, he did not practice it in any temple. Wherever the Dharma Master comes in person, there will be blood.

If you reach the sky, it goes against the teachings of Buddhism, so you will be disliked by others."

Hearing this, Liu Shuzhu inevitably thought of the mountains in his hometown and the absurd folk story.

At the end of ancient times, a Blood Bodhisattva descended from the sky on a blood lotus. The area of hundreds of thousands of miles around turned into a sea of blood, and the entire Yongliang Mountains sank to the bottom of the sea. When the sea of blood receded, the remaining blood energy was still lingering for thousands of years.

Disperse!

Looking back now, he couldn't laugh at all.

The strange custom of the ancestors in the mountains of slaughtering cows and horses to sacrifice their blood to the Bodhisattva may not be as outrageous as imagined!

"Then...does anyone know where he went in the end? Did he ever go to the Eastern Region and sit in an old temple in the mountains?"

"No one knows where the Great Wish Bodhisattva went in the end. As for whether he has been to the Eastern Region, I don't even know." The young monk paused, then took a breath and said, "But over the years, there are also some stories about the Great Wish Bodhisattva.

Among the many versions of the rumor about his destination, one is the most widespread, saying that he went to a place where it is impossible to exist."

"A place that cannot exist?" The more I heard it, the more mysterious it became. "What place could it be?"

At this point, the young monk remained silent, with a sinister look on his face, as if he was begging me, begging me to tell you again.

Liu Shuzhu was furious and gave him a slap on the back of the head out of habit.

Quite unexpectedly, the young monk did not dodge this time. Instead, he giggled twice, as if he had gotten a lot of advantage. He smiled and said to Liu Shuzhu: "I was seriously injured underground, and I need something.

Come and replenish yourself."

Liu Shuzhu feigned anger: "After eating so much meat, how do you want to make up for it! To tell you the truth, they only let you eat and drink for the sake of my face, otherwise they would have kicked you out!"

The little monk Hei Ran, with his wretched appearance, is no less generous than Liu Hanban. It can be said that people are divided into groups and birds of a feather flock together.

"That little meat is good for satisfying hunger, but it's not good for treating injuries." The young monk looked excited, "If I really want to eat it, there will be a mountain of meat right in front of me, and I can still eat it!"

"

Even Liu Shuzhu does not deny this. If eating meat can be considered a skill, no one can compare with this foodie.

"You are really thick-skinned, and you dare to talk about 'that' meat!"

"What's this? Let me tell you, there are records in Buddhist classics. When the Fourth Patriarch Arhat first entered the realm of Zhenwu, he was walking in the world. In the middle of the journey, he accidentally fell into a trap and became a demon. He couldn't bear the thirst in his throat and drank all his wine in one night.

A thousand-mile river!

All the fish and shrimps in the river were damaged by rice seedlings and turned white overnight.

The Fourth Patriarch also punished himself for this, repented in front of the cliff, sat in meditation for 1,836 years, and became an Arhat.

After that, he came into the world again, relieved the suffering of the people and saved countless people!

When he was dying, he even left an admonition: if any of his disciples in the future achieves Arhat status, he must destroy his golden body to atone for his sins. In order to fulfill his merits, the later Buddhist allusion of 'The Fifth Patriarch killed his corpse' was born."

In his heart, he couldn't help but be shocked by the great power of the 'fourth ancestor', but Liu Shuzhu remained calm on the surface. Although he didn't know what the little bald man had in mind, it was definitely not a good thing.

Sure enough, the young monk glanced at the storage bag hanging at his waist: "How many crystal stones did you collect when you were at the bottom of the mine?"

"No!"

Liu Shuzhu refused without even thinking, and hurriedly took off the brocade bag and stuffed it into his arms to protect it.

It’s not entirely because I feel sorry for the crystal, but mainly because the few stolen imperial weapons of perfection are also stored in the brocade bag, and there is even a fist-sized divine crystal. None of these things can be exposed easily!

After this fuss, he made up his mind. It seemed that he would have to ask Scarface for some tips later, and it would be safe to store the things that could not be seen in the light separately.

The little monk scratched his head, how could he not see that Liu Shuzhu was a master who spared no effort.

He flipped his hands out of thin air, and a Buddhist scripture appeared in his palm for no reason. The pages were yellowed and the cover was old, with the words "Yuanjueluo Yi Heart Sutra Part Two" written on it.

To a layman, this method of manifesting Buddhist scriptures with bare hands is very mysterious!

Even when the little monk was in a coma, Liu Shuzhu had already rummaged through his body, and there was no treasure except for his fat body. When he saw him conjuring a book like a magic trick, he was inevitably stunned.

"What kind of trick is this?"

The young monk smiled naively and said: "Let's not talk too much about this. That day when we were at the bottom of the mine, the 'Great Wisdom and Yong Yuanjue Luo Yi Heart Sutra' I taught you was only the first half, and the second half is here. If you give me some crystal stones

For refining, I will give you the second half as well. How is this deal?"
