Chapter Twenty-Four: The Next Big Thing

Ye Wu and Wang Defu tried their best to speed up and finally arrived at the village a quarter of an hour later.

They took a shortcut from the back and could enter the village directly.

After entering, Ye Wu breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that it was not a raging fire.

But when his eyes touched one place, his pupils suddenly shrank.

They were the old, young, women and children in the village, and many of them were tied up.

The flames did not spread, but they were not small. They lingered around and were artificially controlled.

The flames at the bottom of the mountain were caused by the torches in the hands of a large group of people holding torches.

Ye Wu looked around and saw some people wearing the clothes of the policemen he had seen before.

They were sent by the place called the government.

Ye Wu concealed his aura and hid beside a cluster of flames, staring at the crowd over there.

"Heifeng Village! Three years ago, you occupied the mountain as bandits and committed crimes. You robbed passing caravans many times and sought wealth and death! Today, we finally found our lair. Just wait for the parade and the guillotine!"

The policeman held a whip and roared angrily at the women and children in Heifeng Village.

Doing evil? Robbing passing caravans? Seeking money and killing people?

Hearing this, Ye Wu's heart sank.

Could it be that...the people of Heifeng Village are really so miserable? Are they really heinous?

"Tell me! Where is your village leader? He is the culprit and will surely die!" the policeman asked loudly.

The old people, children, young ladies and young wives all remained silent, and even worse, they even spat at the man.

The man was so angry that he went up and slapped them with a whip, leaving their skin and flesh torn. Even so, no one said a word.

"What the hell! A bunch of tough guys!" the catcher said angrily: "Throw two of them into the fire and see if they burn!"

The people in the tied up village still couldn't help but scream in surprise.

The man sneered and said: "You still know how to be afraid? That's right! Scream louder! Call your village leader out!"

A group of policemen were pushing the old, weak, sick and disabled into the fire pit.

Some children cried.

"Don't cry!" Granny Lan said, her voice old but with a resolute determination, "Don't cry! We, the people of Black Wind Village, cannot betray the leader of the village even if we die!"

"Yes!" The little girl who had given Ye Wu flowers nodded and said loudly: "If you die, you will die! Anyway, we can live for so long only because of the protection of the village master! We are the ones who are going to be forced to death by the government!"

"It's just you guys who are worse than pigs and dogs! You will suffer retribution sooner or later!!"

"Bah!" Many people also spat or cursed at the arresters.

Some of the detectives were so angry that they immediately pulled out their knives.

"A group of bandits doing evil things, why are they pretending to be heroes here?"

"Stop it!" A man with a thin face and mean eyes walked over.

The other detectives stepped back one after another and saluted respectfully: "Capture the head!"

The man walked up to the women and children. He glanced around the women and children in the village, suddenly smiled and said, "Fellow villagers, do you still remember me? Three years ago, I led people to kill your Chenjia Village.

Two-thirds of the population, tsk tsk, I didn’t expect that now, you are in my hands again. My name is Wang Bing, Wang Bingtou, do you remember?”

"It's you, you bastard!!!"

"Damn it, why aren't you dead yet?"

A group of women and children immediately began to curse.

Wang Bing seemed to enjoy the scolding, with an excited look on his face. He pointed at a woman among the women and children, hooked his hand, and walked to the side to sit down on the Taishi chair.

Two detectives stepped forward, grabbed the woman and held her down before the man.

"Kneel down!"

The woman gritted her teeth and refused to kneel down, but one of the police officers kicked her hard into the crotch behind the woman's knees.

With a thud, the woman fell to the ground in front of Wang Bing. Her forehead and nose were hit with blood, and fine stones were stained in the bloody wounds.

"Tsk! Do you understand Lianxiangxiyu?" Wang Bing stepped forward, helped the woman up, hooked her chin with one hand, looked at her for a while, and said: "I remember correctly, your fiancé seemed to have died in my hands.

Is it right... I'm sorry, I can't remember clearly. Does it hurt? I'm really sorry. The people under me are neither light nor heavy, so... you tell me where your village leader has gone, and I will send you there.

Go see the doctor."

The woman remained silent, glaring at Wang Bing with resentment in her eyes.

"Hey, you're so stubborn. Aren't you really afraid of being burned to death?" As he spoke, the king took out the long knife from his waist and put it on the flame until it burned red.

"I have seen many people like you who say they are not afraid of death, but in fact, they have no idea how terrible death is..." Wang Wei signaled to several of his subordinates.

The two detectives grabbed the woman tightly, making her unable to move.

Wang Bing placed the red-hot long knife on the woman's thigh.

Zizz!!!

A burst of green smoke rose, mixed with the stench of burnt meat.

The woman's screams were heartbreaking.

"Does it hurt?" Wang Bing had a crazy and joyful smile on his face. He grabbed the woman's clothes, got close to her pale face, and asked: "Being really burned by fire is a hundred times more painful than this... I don't want to

If you were burned alive like your fiancé, just tell me your village..."

"I...I said..."

Wang Bing leaned forward and leaned over. Unexpectedly, the woman suddenly became violent and bit off half of the catcher's ear.

"Ahhhhh!!!" Wang Bing also screamed, pointing at the woman and yelling: "My ears, my ears!!! Spit it out, spit it out for me!"

Several policemen came forward, punched and kicked the woman, trying to snatch half of the ear back from her mouth.

But Wang Bing gritted his teeth, chewed the half of the ear into pieces, and said with his last bit of strength: "Eating your flesh and blood will not satisfy the hatred in my heart..."

"Cao Nima!!!" Wang Bing kicked the woman back into the crowd, picked up several clay pots piled nearby, and threw them at them.

Bang, bang, bang!

The clay pot shattered, and the kerosene flowed out, soaking everyone. Wang Bing, as if crazy, picked up a piece of wood from the fire and threw it over there.

"A bunch of unruly people, they are all damned, die to me!!!"

The firewood carrying sparks drew an arc in mid-air.

The women and children of Heifeng Village watched the firewood flying over and closed their eyes with despair.

Now...he's dead!

However, at this moment, a figure suddenly appeared in their sight.

This man was as handsome as an immortal in the sky. Even though his face was full of anger at this moment, people inexplicably felt that he was a little too good-looking.

Ye Wu finally no longer hesitated or endured.
