110: Rescue the Heterochromatic Eye Tiger Cubs

In the second-grade test paper, when Joel encountered someone with excellent or very poor grades, he would stop and look at the name of the person who took the test paper.

Alan, Sergey and Joel all got O themselves, and Haylis got an E, which is not bad.

Turning to the back position, he finally found Eddie's test paper.

He knew how long Eddie had been preparing for this exam. He had spent almost all day and night memorizing potions knowledge in the days leading up to the exam.

Joel concentrated on correcting carefully. Halfway through the correction, he knew that Eddie's hard work was not in vain, and the accuracy rate was quite impressive. Although there were several errors in the last few big questions (mainly calculations), it still did not affect his getting an A (

Acceptable, pass).

It seems Eddie can live a more comfortable life this summer.

Joel felt relieved, and after he finished grading his friend's batch of test papers, he speeded up the grading. A total of five grade papers (fifth and seventh grade took the wizarding exams, but did not take the Hogwarts final exam) were piled into thick piles.

A thick pile.

At twelve o'clock at midnight, Snape walked out of the room and came behind Joel with his hands behind his back.

"Professor..." Joel glanced at the clock on the wall, "Have you finished cooking?"

Snape's face turned dark, "Obviously not, otherwise I would have walked out carrying the cauldron."

"It will take two more hours of slow cooking." Snape walked to the room on the right. "I set the alarm clock and went to rest for a while. If you need anything, just knock on the stone door, leave the office, and walk along the corridor.

Just walking inside is the bathroom.”

He pushed open the stone door and walked in.

Joel was relieved, Quirrell would probably go to see Merlin in two hours.

In the process of correcting the test papers, he learned a lot of advanced potion knowledge, which benefited him a lot.

Suddenly, he remembered that he still had a side mission that he had not completed - to save the tiger cub with heterochromatic eyes. This tiger cub was captured by Professor Quirrell and disappeared. However, there was no failure prompt for the task yet, which proved that the tiger cub had not yet been

die.

Where would Quirrell hide it?

It must be a place where he thinks he is very safe and not easily discovered by others...

No one would go to his own office on weekdays, and Quirrell must have left by now.

Joel glanced at the stone door on the right and left Snape's office secretly.

After casting a disguise spell on himself, Joel went back to the dormitory to pick up his luggage and treasure box, and then successfully reached the corridor on the third floor.

The corridor was quiet, and the candles on both sides burned and crackled, reflecting the red on the armor.

Joel walked to the door of Quirrell's office and knocked gently. After a while, there was no movement.

He took a look around, and saw that apart from a few pairs of armors in the corridor, there were no portraits. Then he tried the door. Sure enough, just like Professor McGonagall's room, it was immune to the spell.

Joel took out the Hammer of Penance from the suitcase, then took out two thick strips of cloth and cotton (teared from the winter quilt), wrapped them around the door handle and the hammer respectively, and then hit the door handle with a heavy hammer.

.

There was a muffled clang and the door handle was shaking.

Joel nodded with satisfaction. After being blocked by the strips of cotton, the sound of the heavy hammer hitting the office door became much softer.

After breaking down the door three times, five times five times two times, Joel successfully slipped into Professor Quirrell's office.

He didn't hesitate and ran directly to the wooden door between the two bookshelves.

The door was unlocked and Joel pushed it open easily.

This is the place where Professor Quirrell usually rests. The bedside table is filled with garlic and a purple turban. There are stars outside the window, and the gentle moonlight shines in.

There was also a cage wrapped in black cloth in the corner. Joel lifted the black cloth and saw a tiger cub lying inside, its heterochromatic eyes shining brightly in the dark night.

It was much thinner than before, and its shoulder blade bones were very obvious when lying down. The moment it saw a person, it subconsciously growled, but the sound could not be heard at all.

"Shh..."

After the tiger cub saw the person coming clearly, its roar gradually lowered. It stretched out its tongue and licked its face, wanting to get closer and smell Joel's scent.

I don't know what method Quirrell used. This cage can block the sound and is also extremely hard. Joel can see several teeth and claw marks on the cage, but he can't scratch it at all.

"Split into pieces!" Joel's spell had no effect.

He was forced to have no choice but to open the window and use the floating spell to send the cage down. The cub in the cage was pushed downwards by the magic power. Pushed by the magic power, it scratched the inner wall of the cage restlessly.

The cage fluttered lightly in the grass outside the castle, and Joel hurriedly left the office and ran downstairs.

Joel couldn't find any better way to dismantle the cage, so he could only place the cub in the grass and comfort him for a long time before the cub finally calmed down.

It was already one o'clock in the morning when we returned to Snape's office. Professor Snape was still resting in his room, and the potion in the cauldron was bubbling.

Joel calmed down to grade the final exam paper. At 1:30 in the morning, there was a knock on the door outside the office.

Joel lay down and looked through the peephole. Professor Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall were standing outside the door. They looked serious. Professor McGonagall was only wearing a pair of fiery red pajamas, with her hair hanging loosely on her shoulders.

"Professor Dumbledore..." Joel knew that everything was over. He opened the stone door and saw Dumbledore's shocked eyes.

"Mr. Taylor?" Professor McGonagall's voice was sharp, "Where is Severus?"

Snape, who was always a light sleeper, put on a robe and walked out of the room after hearing the voice, "Minerva, Albus...what happened?"

Dumbledore's next words made Snape's face change drastically, "Quirrell was possessed by Voldemort and wanted to steal the Sorcerer's Stone. Harry was seriously injured trying to stop Quirrell's conspiracy."

The four of them hurried to the hospital wing. On the way, Dumbledore repeatedly assured the sullen Snape that Harry was not in danger, while Professor McGonagall pulled Joel aside to ask.

"Why don't you go back to the dormitory tonight?"

"Professor Quirrell asked me to deliver a potion formula to Professor Snape yesterday..." Joel didn't hide anything at this time and said everything he needed to say.

Professor McGonagall frowned.

The hospital wing was still dimly lit, and Madam Pomfrey was wearing a nightgown and sleepily preparing anti-swelling ointment.

Harry, Hermione, Ron and Neville were lying side by side on the hospital bed. Hermione was still awake, Ron had a big swelling on his head, and Neville and Harry fell into a coma.

Snape stepped forward to check Harry's body with an unprecedented eagerness, which startled Hermione and Ron beside him.

But this expression was fleeting. After personally confirming that Harry's life was fine, Snape's face returned to paralysis again.

"Don't worry, it's just too tired and too frightened. Just drink some demulcent and get some sleep." Madam Pomfrey comforted her.
