114: good night

After the year-end dinner, the Ravenclaw students rushed back to the common room with a lot of resentment. Haylis even bought candies and snacks early and waited to hold a celebration ceremony when she came back in the evening. Unexpectedly, everything was in vain.

"Go back to bed quickly," Prefect Caitlin forced a smile, "We are not short of the Academy Cup..."

"But we have worked hard for a year..." A first-year student wiped away tears, "We dare not violate discipline, we perform well in class, our test scores are so good, we even won the Quidditch championship, why can't we win the Academy

Cup?"

Caitlin knew that the first-year students who had just entered Hogwarts must be unbalanced. She quickly comforted them and finally persuaded the students to go back to their dormitories.

She looked at the empty common room with her hands on her hips and sighed, waving her wand and clearing away the candies on the table.

"Let me help you." A soft voice sounded. Caitlin turned her head and looked, it was Haylis. She lowered her head and felt indescribably uncomfortable.

Caitlin knew what Haylis was thinking, so she stepped forward and rubbed her black hair, "It's not a big deal, don't take it to heart."

Haylis nodded, waved her wand, and took down the balloon hanging in mid-air. Caitlin was packing up the drinks and snacks on the sofa and table, and finally filled a large basket and handed it to Haylis.

"You have to sit on the train all day tomorrow. You will definitely be tired and hungry." Haylis didn't take it. "Let's just let everyone take some when we leave in the morning."

Caitlin nodded in agreement, and the two girls cleaned up the common room before extinguishing the crystal lamp above their heads.

"Aren't you leaving?"

"I'll go back to the dormitory later. I have something to tell him."

After the dinner, Joel did not return to the dormitory immediately. Instead, he came to the teacher's table and stopped Dumbledore.

"Did you encounter any difficulty?" Dumbledore said with a pleasant expression. The two of them were now standing in a remote part of the corridor on the second floor. There was no one around. It was a good place to talk.

"Professor Dumbledore, I would like to know if my parents left me some items?" Joel crossed his hands, "Such as photos, real estate, etc. I heard Professor Flitwick say that the management is in the hands of the Ministry of Magic.

superior……"

"Of course, of course... you deserve it," Dumbledore responded. "If nothing else, your parents should have left you a lot of things, and their salary is not low."

Dumbledore thought about the itinerary and then said: "The morning after tomorrow, I will take you to the British Ministry of Magic to help you get your inheritance back."

After thanking Professor Dumbledore, Joel returned to the tower.

It seems that the semester is about to end, and the eagle-shaped door knocker will usher in two months of loneliness. The question it asked tonight is particularly tricky.

"You are standing on flat land, and a wall suddenly appears in front of you. It is infinitely high upward, infinitely deep downward, and infinitely far to the left and right. What does this wall represent?"

After listening to the sweet sound of the eagle-shaped door knocker, Joel began to think. This question was quite abstract. He thought for a long time but could not come up with an answer.

"Can you change the question?" He discussed with the knocker. This was the first time he couldn't answer the question raised by the knocker. "I'm leaving school tomorrow, so don't embarrass me."

"No, I'll let you go. Who will chat with me?" The eagle-shaped knocker said the cruelest words in the most beautiful voice.

According to the description in "Hogwarts: A School History", the eagle-shaped door knocker is an advanced alchemical item made by Ms. Ravenclaw. Her voice and thoughts are highly consistent with her own. Joel originally thought she was aloof.

Sister Yu, I didn’t expect that I would torture people.

"Stop torturing me..." Joel became more and more impatient as he thought about it, "Could it be Professor Dumbledore's Iron Armor Curse?"

The eagle-shaped door knocker didn't move at all, which obviously wasn't the answer to the question.

The door suddenly opened, and Haylis' head popped out.

"Stumped by a question?"

Joel nodded.

"Come in quickly." Haylis opened the door.

"Knocker, can you tell me the answer to my question?" Joel half-stepped into the common room and turned around to ask.

"The answer is death." The eagle-shaped door knocker returned to his cold demeanor, and there was no explanation for simply saying the answer.

Joel entered the door, thoughtful.

"Fortunately, I noticed that you didn't come back with us, so I stayed here to wait for you, otherwise you wouldn't know when you would be able to come in..." Hailis's eyes looked bright and moving in the dark night.

"Is there anything we need to discuss?" Joel asked.

"Well... I want to tell you that I have thought it over carefully," Hailis twisted her hands on her waist for a moment and said boldly: "I like you, and I will never regret it."

Joel looked at Haylis' slightly nervous face, filled with emotion that he couldn't hold back, and sneaked away, leaving a shy blush on her face.

She must be different to him. Joel thought of Haylis, who was so generous in front of everyone that day, and the shy girl now.

He chuckled softly, "What a coincidence, it's just as I thought."

Hailis raised her head and curved the corners of her mouth into a beautiful arc.

"Good night, my dear boyfriend, I wish you a sweet dream." Hailis' originally plain face now looks bright and dazzling, and every word of this sentence seems to have been repeated twice in her mouth.

, the voice is soft, waxy and delicate.

"Good night, my dear girlfriend."

The deer in Joel's heart was about to jump out of his body.

He looked at Haylis's cheeks, as bright as jade under the moonlight.

Like White Rabbit toffee, Joel suddenly had this idea in his mind.

Hailis's facial features are not stunning, but they are just right. Her slightly raised eyebrows and straight nose bridge look slightly aggressive. She is quite aloof when she is not smiling. When she smiles, two dimples appear.

Look cute and charming.

"I wish you a good dream too." Joel couldn't help but caressed Halice's face with his hands.

It was soft and delicate, and the skin seemed to be made of milk. A little pressure would leave a red mark on it, so Joel couldn't help but try it.

"Don't..." Haylis puffed her mouth in dissatisfaction and pushed Joel's palm away, "Go to bed quickly!"

she urged, waving goodbye to Joel.

Joel felt relieved after watching her walk into the girls' dormitory. He gently touched his chest, and his heartbeat reminded him that what just happened was extremely real.

This was Joel's first love in his two lives, and he was still very excited when he returned to the dormitory and lay on the bed.

Tossing and turning and unable to sleep, Sergey, who was always a light sleeper, was so annoyed that Joel, who scolded him a few times, had no choice but to use Occlumency to force himself to calm down before falling into a deep sleep.
