162: Attack, attack! (Part 1)

Joel changed his mind and instead of going to Honeydukes Candy Shop, he walked straight along the street towards the edge of Hogsmeade village.

The dark shadow behind the oak tree followed without hesitation.

Joel walked around in circles and came to the building where he saw the Eternal Night Man in the first grade. This lonely two-story building seemed to have never had a new owner. The vegetation in the garden was sparse, and there was a thick layer of dirt on the windowsill.

There was dust and the glass was gray and dirty.

He turned around and saw that the weather conditions were extremely bad tonight. Thick dark clouds covered the bright full moon. The oak trees were swaying in the biting cold wind of the night, and their branches danced like ghostly shadows.

There seemed to be no one in the depths of the dark night.

"Come out," Joel said to the tree shadow, "don't let me wait too long, it's too cold here, and my patience is very limited."

No one responded.

Joel frowned and raised the wand in his hand, "I'll count down to three. If you don't show up, don't blame me for being cruel."

"Three, two, one..."

When the last number was counted, a figure flashed out from behind the oak tree.

"How did you find me?" the man asked in a cold voice.

"William, right?" Joel smiled and did not answer his question, "Why are you here looking for me?"

"Of course it's the set of slates," William said softly, "Hand them over and I won't torture you and let you die more comfortably."

"Oh?" Joel raised his eyebrows, "Who gave you confidence? Ye Qianwen?"

William frowned, obviously thinking about the meaning of that strange name.

He searched in his mind for a long time. He was an out-and-out genius. The wand in his right hand lay horizontally and his left hand gently pressed against the tip of the wand. A silver halo of light flashed out, quickly enlarged, and disappeared into the sky of Hogsmeade Village.

, an invisible pressure clings to Joel's back, and the anti-Apparition ban has been deployed.

"Now you can't escape even if you have wings!" William laughed wildly.

"I advise you to laugh louder, maybe someone else is watching secretly." Joel felt helpless.

William immediately looked around. Was there anyone around here? He couldn't even find an inhabited building anywhere.

"Besides, you said something like you can't escape even if you have wings..." Joel lowered his eyes and said softly: "You seem to have forgotten how I escaped from you before?"

Last time in the Norwegian forest, Joel relied on transforming into an Animagus form to escape from William's hands, which corresponded to what he said about the inescapability of wings.

"You brat..." William felt jealous when he remembered the scene where he was teased by Joel before. Just as Joel had speculated before, after losing the trace of Joel, William called the Eternal Night Man through the mark on his left arm.

The leader Andrei Ulyanov appears.

After explaining to him the whole process of the slate being stolen, Andre finally determined that the slate did indeed hide some shocking secret. Russia was currently in dire straits and he could not leave the country for a long time, so he entrusted William to pursue clues.

Grab the slate back.

William found Joel's lost suitcase in the forest and found the Hogwarts school robe in it. He was fully prepared and carefully avoided the search of the British Aurors. It took him a long time to find it after entering the UK.

Hogwarts.

He never imagined that Hogwarts would use Muggle trains to transport students - although William was British, he received wizarding education in Durmstrang, where people despised Muggle tools.

"I don't want to talk too much nonsense with you," William suppressed his dissatisfaction, "if you return the slate intact, you can save yourself the effort of Cruciatus Curse and Legilimency, and make your last day in the world more pleasant.

.”

"Speaking of which, do you know why I brought you here?" Joel sighed and looked up at the surrounding scene.

William showed a puzzled expression at the right time.

"I think this place is remote and quiet, and it's just right for your burial." Joel waved the wand in his hand, "It's not in vain that you went through all the hard work to find this place."

"Oh, are you just showing off your skills?" William sneered. The last time he fought with Joel, he completely suppressed the boy and it was difficult to even fight back. Now he is brazenly saying that he wants to find a burial place for himself.

He no longer talks to Joel. Anyway, as long as he subdues him, he can pry open his brain and the whereabouts of the slate will naturally be revealed!

William's fighting style was so aggressive, using the Cruciatus Curse, the Slashing Curse, and the Petrification Curse in turn, plus all kinds of weird black magic, which caught Joel off guard during the last duel.

But Joel had been preparing for this duel for a long time, and he had already figured out how to deal with William's desperate fighting style.

Joel dodged and moved around, dodging William's spells from a distance. He didn't even think about attacking William. Only a few spells that were difficult to avoid were used by him to cast defensive spells.

"What?" William laughed wildly. He became more and more certain that Joel was afraid of his offensive and did not dare to fight back. "You don't seem to have improved much from before! You can only dodge, right?"

"You have the ability to fight with me!" He refused to give in, approaching Joel, leaving him less time to react. "Fighting is a man's romance! A coward like you is simply a coward.

!”

Joel is not stupid. He will not change his plan just because of a few provocations from William. He has to admit that in terms of hard power, William is the strongest young wizard Joel has ever seen. If there is an honest duel, he will not

Maybe beat this offensive lunatic.

Joel ducked to avoid a black fire. The process was dangerous and dangerous. Although his body avoided the flames, the tail of the flames mercilessly brushed against the sleeves of his robe.

The black flame spread rapidly along the sleeves of the robe and rushed towards Joel's body. He had to tear the sleeves apart and throw them to the ground. The black fire mercilessly devoured the fabric and burned out the uneven ground.

A deep hole gradually disappeared behind it. One can imagine what would happen if Joel was stuck by this black fire.

Joel was so frightened that he broke out in a cold sweat. He originally thought that William would not kill him in order to obtain information about the slate. Unexpectedly, this madman followed the rules and followed Joel's planned plan at first, but now he completely ignored it.

"Run, you keep running!" Taking advantage of Joel's opportunity to get rid of the black fire, William appeared in front of Joel. He showed a ferocious smile, his eyes were scarlet, as if he was possessed, "I want to see you.

Wherever you can fly!”

Joel looked at William who was close to him and finally breathed a sigh of relief.

William was indeed as reckless as he thought. As long as he was deceived into a close position, his plan would be successful.

Joel shouted loudly.

"Expelliarmus!"

This disarming spell contains the magic power he has accumulated for a long time, and its power cannot be underestimated.

William was overjoyed when he saw this, "You are finally willing to fight back, that's what makes it interesting!"

He still didn't care, and the wand in his hand shot out a black light, which collided with the dark red disarming spell.

The two spells were evenly matched, and the black and red spells were locked in a stalemate in the air.

Joel used to mainly avoid, and he spent less magic power to maintain better condition. He twisted the wand in a circle and poured all the magic power in his body into it. He wanted to engage in a magic battle.

William was not to be outdone and tried to fight against him.

The two have increased their magic output, trying to suppress their opponents. In this close state, whoever can win this spell duel will have an overwhelming advantage - it is extremely difficult for the opponent to avoid the incoming spell.

.

But William immediately realized that Joel's magic power was more abundant, and this kind of collision of magic spells was very detrimental to him.

William decided not to continue to compete with Joel for magic power. He turned sideways and wanted to give up his position, so that Joel would have the absolute initiative in the next attack, but William felt that this would be worse than using up all the magic power.

The outcome of defeat is much better.

But Joel suddenly grabbed his shoulder and didn't give him any room to escape.

"Get away!" William roared angrily. He was taller and stronger than Joel. He pulled his body back violently. Unexpectedly, Joel immediately withdrew his strength and William stumbled and fell to the ground.

Fortunately, the two spells were finally disconnected, and the spell flew past William's ear and shot into the misty night.

Before William could take a breath, another curse from Joel struck from top to bottom.

As long as he gets close, Joel has the confidence to compete with William. The magic power he has accumulated in his body is considerable. When he gets close, there is not much reaction time left for both parties, and there is relatively little space to avoid, making it difficult to cast extremely powerful spells.

Compared with William, Joel does not have many spells and is not very lethal. In close quarters, these disadvantages have been eliminated one by one. Now he is not worthy of being an offensive madman.

William was lying on his back on the ground, and the wand in his hand was dancing rapidly, and spells collided in the air, but he was very careful not to give Joel a chance to continue the magical battle.

Even so, he was still at a disadvantage. The defensive pressure brought by the position of lying on the ground was too great, which could not withstand the shock in his heart.

William was able to realize that he had fallen into the trap carefully designed by Joel from the beginning. He deliberately dodged to lure himself into the trap, and when he got close, he immediately started a magical battle. After recharging his energy, he was certainly not Joel's.

Once the opponent gives up the close magic battle, he will fall into endless passive beatings.

This child's future is limitless and he must be killed on the spot!

"Why didn't you say anything?" Now it was Joel's turn to mock, "Didn't you dance very happily just now? Why didn't you scream now?"

William was unwilling to give in. He gritted his teeth, and more surging magic power erupted from his body. The magic power collided with the spell cast by Joel, and then he wanted to stand up and get out of his unfavorable position.

Joel showed no mercy and kneed forward, directly hitting William's lower abdomen. The blow was so powerful that he almost spit out the butterbeer he drank tonight.

But William was already prepared, and he swung a heavy punch with his left arm at the same time, hitting Joel in the chest.

He took advantage of the brief moment of Joel's chest tightness to get up from the ground, with a ferocious smile on his face, and the red bloodshot eyes became denser and denser. They were full of ferocity and irrepressible violence, and he looked like a demon.

"It's such a pity that I failed to seize such a good opportunity. It will be my turn to attack..."
