019: request

The entrance to the library is on the second floor of the main Hogwarts castle.

It was Joel's first time to come to the library. When he first entered, he was shocked by the spectacular scene here.

There are thousands of wooden bookshelves here, each bookshelf is five or six meters high, and they are neatly piled with books, leaving not even a single gap.

There is a corridor between each bookshelf and the bookshelf, and a long table and several chairs are placed in the middle of the corridor for students to study and study.

There is also a golden chandelier directly above the long table, filled with quietly burning candles, providing lighting for the library.

The entire library was silent. It was now 10:15 on Sunday morning, and many students were already sitting in the library seats reading.

To Joel's right is the service desk, where procedures such as borrowing and returning books are carried out.

Mrs. Irma Pince, the librarian, is sitting at the service desk, writing on parchment with a quill pen.

When Joel entered here, she raised her head and stared at him with her sharp eyes like an eagle, as if looking at a student who had done something wrong.

Joel was a little unhappy when she stared at him, frowned slightly and walked forward holding his spell book.

He walked around the library, trying to find his goal.

In front of a bookshelf, he saw a girl with long black hair facing away from him, with thin shoulders, squatting on the ground and pulling the books at the bottom of the bookshelf.

"Classmate Selwyn?" He stepped forward and called softly.

The girl was stunned for a moment, then turned around and widened her eyes slightly.

Joel was stunned for a moment when he saw the girl's face, it was Qiu Zhang.

Her shoulder width and hair style were very similar to those of Haylis. Joel was not very familiar with either of them, and there were not many junior girls with long black hair in the school, so he recognized her mistake at first.

When Qiu Zhang stood up, Joel could also notice the difference between the two of them.

Qiu is slightly shorter, with softer facial features and an obvious East Asian appearance. Although Hailis also has straight black hair, her facial features are sharper than Qiu's, and she also looks a bit aggressive with typical Western white people.

"...Qiu, have you seen Miss Selwyn?" Joel recognized the wrong person before and was a little embarrassed. His eyes turned twice around the position where Qiu had just squatted.

"Hailis?" Qiu laughed, sweeping away the awkward atmosphere before, "She is sitting with me. I will take you to find her."

She didn't ask Joel the specific reason for looking for Hailes, which made Joel feel very comfortable getting along with her, like a spring breeze.

Qiu took him around the library bookshelves, and Joel didn't understand why Qiu was so familiar with this place after only being here for a week.

"She, Marietta, and I are in the same dormitory, and sometimes people mistake us for each other." Qiu took the initiative, with a bit of a smile on her face.

Joel nodded, "Are you looking for a book on charms?"

He just saw that the bookshelf Qiu was crouching down to look through was filled with magic books.

Qiu was stunned for a second and then laughed. The dimples on her cheeks looked particularly cute. She knew that Joel was also a very careful person, "Yes, Hailis and I plan to use the last day to work hard and try to paste the

Curse to figure it out."

"I suggest that it is better to thoroughly understand the explanations in "Standard Spells". After all, it is our textbook," Joel said. "I think Professor Flitwick's original intention is to make us pay attention to the textbook."

Qiu pondered for two seconds, "Thank you, but we have been thinking about it for a long time and tried many times but failed."

She frowned slightly, obviously troubled by the sticking spell, and Joel couldn't give her any better advice.

After walking around the library for three minutes, the two of them finally came to a remote corner. Haylis was immersed in reading on the long table. She leaned down and her eyes were almost glued to the book.

"Hailis, Joel is looking for you." Seeing Hailis reading a book, Qiu pursed her lips and chuckled.

After saying this, Qiu left directly to leave space for the two of them. Now only Haylis and Joel were left on the long table.

"Huh?" Hailis raised her head in confusion, and her posture looked a little silly.

Seeing that it was Joel, Haylis immediately lowered her head, like an ostrich taking refuge.

She thought Joel was here to drag her to play poker again.

"Miss Selwyn, I have something to confirm with you." Joel put the book in his hand on the table, leaned down and said seriously.

"...What?" Realizing that Joel was not here to get her to play cards, Haylis breathed a sigh of relief and raised her head to look at Joel, her fair face inexplicably blushing.

Joel felt that he might be as handsome as Haylis. He glanced around but was still uneasy. He picked up the quill, dipped it in Hayley's ink bottle, and wrote on the parchment: "You

Are you born with particularly good luck?"

Haylis glanced at it, then pursed her lips tightly and nodded slightly.

"Then can you do me a favor?" Joel looked pleading.

"Ah?" Hailis opened her mouth slightly, then showed a struggling look on her face, and fell into hesitation.

Her eyebrows drooped again, and her long eyelashes flashed.

The frown is green and the eyelashes are plump and plump.

This word suddenly popped into Joel's mind, which was just right to describe Haylis' current state.

"You, can you tell me what you want to help with first?" Haylis blushed, "Then I'll think about whether to agree or not."

She has always been easy to talk to. In the past, she always agreed to whatever requests the other party made. Sometimes she would aggrieve herself just to make others happy.

But after being forced to play Landlords twice by Eddie, Haylis also understood that she should learn to refuse, otherwise it would really waste her time, especially when she desperately wanted to learn the sticking spell.

This was her first time trying, but she had exhausted all her courage.

"I want to draw a carousel," Joel's quill quickly scratched on the parchment. "It's like a lottery. I don't know if you have ever touched it before..."

He roughly drew the lucky wheel in the system mall. It looked very similar, but it was not colored. "Then you turn the quill to act as a pointer and see if it can land where I want it."

"This is it." Joel drew a pie shape close to 6% on the wheel. 6% is the probability of winning the orange (legendary) item in the lucky wheel. He smoothed this small area with ink.

"That's it?" Haylis breathed a sigh of relief. It was not difficult and it wouldn't delay her for a long time.

"That's it." Joel didn't know whether his metaphysical plan could succeed.

"After you spin the dial, can you say to me, 'Wow, Golden Legend'? Please," Joel said.

"I..." Haylis didn't know what trick Joel was playing, and it looked more and more like a prank game.
