030: Sweet to the point

While Boss Florin was scooping out ice cream, Joel and Sergey popularized some simple worldly wisdom, at least letting him understand that it is best not to give Galleons directly to express gratitude to others.

This can make people feel uncomfortable.

When it came time to finally pay, Sergey offered to split the cost equally, and Joel returned the 11 psicos from the Knight Bus to him, and they ran out with three servings of raspberry ice cream.

"Mrs. Weasley, this is a gift for you!" In order to demonstrate to Sergey, Joel first handed over the ice cream in his hand, "Thank you for taking us to Knockturn Alley!"

Mrs. Weasley didn't want to take it at first, but her two children were very quick and had already taken the ice cream from Sergey's hand and started licking it.

She hesitated and took it, "Thank you."

She felt a little embarrassed watching the two children devouring their food.

There are seven children in the family, and only the eldest son Bill and her husband Arthur Weasley have jobs. The family can't provide a comfortable life for their children with just that meager salary. To put it more ugly, these salaries can't even cover the children's needs.

It is difficult to have enough food and clothing.

The Aikemo family has two working people, which makes Marietta feel that her life is not rich, and she has even developed the habit of hating the poor and loving the rich, let alone the Weasley family who has 6 children to support.

The ice cream that usually cost 6 ounces a serving was not in Mrs. Weasley's mind at all. She felt guilty every time she saw the children looking at the delicious food in the window.

"Where is your home?" Mrs. Weasley glanced at Ron and Ginny lovingly, then looked at Joel, "I'll take you back."

"No, Mrs. Weasley," Joel and Sergey still have things to do. "The two of us have to go to Flourish and Blotts Bookstore to buy some books. We can just take the Knight Bus back later!"

"Knight Bus..." Upon hearing the name, Mrs. Weasley felt a little relieved, "That's pretty safe."

"You can make friends with Ron. You three will go to Hogwarts next year and you can be a companion." Mrs. Weasley said proactively.

"Okay." Joel smiled, "You live in..."

"The Burrow, outside Ottery St. Catchpole, Devon," said Mrs. Weasley with a smile. "Owl knows that place."

"I remember, goodbye Mrs. Weasley, Ron and Ginny!" Joel waved goodbye to the three of them. He was looking forward to Ron's surprised expression when he discovered his true identity when he enters school next year.

Ginny and Ron said goodbye to them. After all, they had delivered ice cream. When the two children left, they had left the memory of Knockturn Alley behind. They happily licked the ice cream and followed Mrs. Weasley away.

"Let's go to Flourish and Blotts Bookstore!" Joel pulled Sergey, who was still in a daze.

"Oh." Sergey was stunned for a moment and was pulled away by Joel.

"Don't rip off my clothes. If your robe is torn, I'll have to make it custom made."

The two spent another 21 galleons to buy a set of "Chadwick's Magic" at Flourish and Blotts Bookstore, and planned to take it back to school to study hard.

Joel also went to the Eela Owl Store to choose a brown female owl as his pet and named her Poppy.

Eddie and Allen both have their own owls in the dormitory, but they only use them as messengers and usually keep them in the Hogwarts Owlhouse. Joel does not plan to put his owl in the shed.

I also specially selected several types of owl food and prepared for a feeding operation to satisfy my regret of never having a pet in my previous life.

Sergey looked at the owl lying obediently on Joel's shoulder, and couldn't restrain his hands. He chose a handsome snowy owl with spots on its snow-white fur and named it Caesar.

Very domineering.

The two of them got on the Knight Bus with an owl cage and a set of spell books. After paying the conductor Stan 11 Sickle, they started their journey back to Hogsmeade.

Ten minutes later, Joel and Sergey jumped out of the car and walked on the streets of Hogsmeade with their two dazed pets.

The Knight Bus is still whizzing by to receive the next passenger in need.

The two people returned to the Honeydukes Candy Store. Just as they said when they left, they picked out various candies in the store, packed them and stuffed them into their bags. After saying goodbye to the old man, they opened the wooden board and followed the secret passage back.

In Hogwarts Castle.

"Phew, I'm so exhausted!" Joel opened the dormitory door, put away the things he bought, then threw himself on the bed, looked up at the stars on the ceiling and started to be in a daze.

Sergey took out his candy bag, hesitated for a moment, and asked Alan, who was sitting at the desk reading: "Do you want some?"

Allen shook his head when he saw those candies, "I don't want them. When I was a kid, I ate these candies every day and I was almost tired of them!"

"Eat it every day?" Eddie jumped up from the bed and grabbed two sizzling honey candies from Sergey's candy bag. "Is there such a good thing?"

"What a good thing!" Allen said angrily, "My grandfather taught me to study the flavors of various Bibi multi-flavor beans since I was a child, fed me some weird candies every day, and asked me to make recipes based on the candy flavors.

"

"You want to do something like this at such a young age?" Eddie's eyes widened in surprise.

Joel also took out two chocolates from his candy bag.

Hiss, he frowned.

It's tooth-droppingly sweet.

Don't eat too much sugar.

The roommates were very interested in Alan's tragic life as a child and kept asking him how he made the candy recipe.

Eddie and Sergey fell silent until Alan mentioned that the large manor he lived in was as big as a dozen Quidditch pitches.

After lying on the bed and resting for a while, Joel counted his remaining money: two trips to the Knight Bus cost 22 Sickles, Bobby the Owl cost 15 Galleons, ice cream cost 9 Sickles, and a brand new set of "

"Chadwick's Magic" is 21 Galleons, owl food is 15 Sickles and 10 Nats, candy is 25 Sickles and 19 Nats, the total cost is 40 Galleons and 4 Sickles.

Before he even did anything, 40 galleons were thrown away. Joel felt very distressed. This was only 1/4 of his total assets.

After lunch, he began to write a paper on the history of magic, which was due the day after tomorrow.

"Joel, what are you doing?" Eddie lay on the bed and hummed after eating and drinking in the auditorium. Sergey and Alan ran to the library to read, leaving Joel and Eddie alone in the dormitory.

"The paper on the history of magic is due the day after tomorrow." Joel wrote quickly on the parchment without raising his head.

The History of Magic, a subject that favors memory and discussion, is not difficult for Joel at all. He was somewhat of an academic master in his previous life. When he wrote this paper on "The Statute of Wizarding Secrecy", he cited classics and cases from various countries in the History of Magic textbooks.

illustrate.

"History of Magic!" Eddie had almost forgotten this subject. Otherwise, this subject really had no sense of existence in Hogwarts. The tone of the ghost Professor Binns' lecture did not change at all. It was simply a hypnotic artifact. Many

The students all fell asleep during this class.

Eddie picked up the book and found that it was clean and there were no notes on it. He had never attended the class at all.

"Joel, please help me," Eddie snorted, "let me use it as a reference after I finish writing my thesis!"

Joel nodded, and an idea came to his mind.

It seems that he has business to do again.
