058: Final Exam

Joel exchanged the Hammer of Penance and lay on the bed, holding the cold hammer handle in his hand and having fun.

It’s not bad. Although I’m a little unlucky, the system hasn’t treated me badly, right?

A purple equipment hammer is very interesting.

Professor White did not appear at Hogwarts for the next week. According to the principal, Mr. Dumbledore, she had some family matters to deal with.

Joel could guess that she was going to settle Constantine.

However, the final exam is just around the corner, and the students have no intention of thinking about the beautiful Professor White's family affairs. Except for some self-defeating students who do not plan to review their homework, most students still plan to cram before the exam.

After all, if your test scores are too bad, you will not have a good time during this long summer vacation.

Joel has no parents, so naturally no one cares about his grades, but as a student he still has to take every exam seriously.

In order to improve the teaching quality at Hogwarts and help those students who don't want to study hard to improve their test scores, the Wizarding Examination Authority of the Ministry of Magic began to promote the "CLBT Magic Course Complete Solution" produced by them.

Thanks to the hard work of the staff of the Wizarding Examination Authority, four sets of "CLBT Magic Course Complete Solution" have been published in a row. They are planning to use the upcoming final exam to open up sales and sell it all over the world.

But this has nothing to do with the four Joels. They are now just enjoying the dividends brought by the copyright of this set of books.

One week before the final exam, Professor White appeared in the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom in a dusty state, holding a large pile of lecture notes in his arms. Joel clearly saw Professor White giving him a wink when he entered the door.

"This is the key point of our exam next week. I have marked it for you..." Professor White handed out the handouts. "If nothing else happens, our final exam will be the same as the OWL (Ordinary Wizard Level) that you will take in fifth grade.

The format of the test (not the Overwatch League) is the same, and both the written test and practical test account for 50% of the final score.”

After receiving the handouts, some people compared it with the "CLBT Magic Course Complete Solution" that they had purchased before, and found that the key points were highly consistent. Moreover, the "CLBT Magic Course Complete Solution" also had supporting exercises corresponding to the key points, and the analysis was also very detailed.

.

Professor White did not intend to let the students deal with dark magical creatures in this class (mainly because she had no time to prepare), so she simply asked them to stay in their seats and read and review.

After wandering around the classroom for a while, she found that most of the students were holding a book that she had never seen before.

"What is this?" She came to Joel's desk and asked curiously. She was not polite and took Joel's book away and started reading it carefully.

"It's just a gadget published by me and a few roommates..." Joel said in a low voice.

Only then did Professor White remember that Joel had told her before that he had contacted people from the British Ministry of Magic to meet at the Three Broomsticks.

After flipping through a few pages, Professor White's tone became more praising, "It's very carefully done, and there are many knowledge points that I didn't expect."

She did not lower her voice when she said this, and the students in the entire classroom heard it, which made many students who had not purchased the teaching aid materials also be tempted.

In the class before the final exam, many professors praised this set of "CLBT Magic Course Complete Guide", saying that their understanding of the teaching materials was excellent, and the real questions in it were also very meaningful for consolidating review.

This further promoted the sales of the complete magic course guide, with Hogwarts students holding a copy, and some junior students even bought all the teaching aids for other grades in advance.

The manager of Flourish and Blotts Bookstore is very happy. All the books in the British wizarding world are resold from him, and the income from each order is very objective.

Joel and the others were not so free. They sat in the Ravenclaw study area, plugging their ears and quickly reciting notes, mumbling incessantly.

It wasn't until most of the students in the common room left that the three of them breathed a sigh of relief.

Joel rubbed his temples, his brain was running at high speed for a day, and he was inevitably a little tired. Sitting in the quiet study area, sleepiness came over him like a tide.

"What kind of evil do you think we have done..." Eddie shook his head and walked over, with a sad look on his face, "The publication of this teaching aid has improved the students' grades all at once, so we have to pay more.

Work hard to improve your ranking.”

It is worth mentioning that the test scores of Hogwarts are the same as those of OWL: Outstanding (O), Exceeds (Exceeds), Expes (A), Acceptable (P), Poor (D)

)Dreadful,Troll.

The grades are ranked from best to worst, with the top 15% of students getting O grades, followed by E, A, P, and D grades accounting for 20% each, and finally T grade students accounting for 5%.

"You are not among those who work hard," Sergey opened the water glass and took a sip. "I saw you were quite happy when you were playing cards."

"Alas..." Eddie sighed, "I have resigned myself to my fate. Even if I study hard, I can't be as good as the three of you."

"I don't want to either, but as soon as my eyes see the content in the textbook, they refuse to send information to my brain," he shrugged. "I'm not learning this material, but I'm more interested in making money."

Joel didn't answer, he closed the textbook and put it in his bag.

He just felt that Eddie was not very responsible for his studies, but it was not his turn. Eddie could just be happy.

The final exam came with the warm summer wind. The desks in every classroom were spaced apart. Everyone was lying on the desks writing furiously, and the professors were pacing back and forth with their hands behind their backs.

'The ingredients of the sleeping pill...' Joel glanced at the test paper and wrote on it with a quill non-stop, "Valerian branches, Flobber caterpillar mucus, lavender and a standard ingredient..."

These theoretical knowledge are not difficult for him, Joel has his own way of memorizing them.

Professor Snape leaned over to look at the students' test papers one by one. His lips were pursed tightly as he walked, and his face was covered with dark clouds. It looked like he could hardly control his emotions.

He just couldn't understand why so many people got it wrong with such a simple potion ingredient list.

Isn’t this the simplest and most basic knowledge?

He felt like his nostrils were blowing out hot air like a camel, and he could hardly contain the anger in his heart.

After reading the nonsense in Eddie Carmichael's test paper, "Mix the sapweed and the soundless bird feathers together, stir well, and then add 5g of moonstone powder to get a demulcent agent", Snape's chest

Violent ups and downs.

He's about to explode.

Before the exam, he took the students to review the steps for making a demulcent agent. He clearly hinted that the final exam would rely on this knowledge, but why are there still students making up random things?

Are you too tolerant of this group of students?

He should be stricter in the future, otherwise these naughty and mischievous students will not take him seriously at all!

He thought bitterly and looked up to see Joel sitting behind Eddie.

Professor Snape hesitated for a while, but finally did not turn around. Joel Taylor, he was deeply impressed by this child.

In the first half of the school year, his grades in the practical class were a mess, but after February, he seemed to suddenly find the secret to potions, and his grades in the practical class improved by leaps and bounds. Although he was not among the best, it could be seen that he

Always making progress.

To be fair, he prefers students who are willing to work hard even though they have no talent.
