064: Mystery of life experience

Joel hesitated for a moment and looked at the face of the old man in front of him to confirm that she didn't know the true identity of Hogwarts. "It's not bad. The classmates are very enthusiastic."

"That's good," the old lady nodded happily, "I'm just afraid that if you go out from here, you won't get along with others..."

Joel felt that Wu's Orphanage was not as scary as he imagined. At least judging from the dean's attitude and the layout of the rooms that Joel had seen before, this orphanage was quite normal.

"Dean Feynman, do you know how I got here?" Joel asked his question while observing the dean's face.

"Ah..." Dean Feynman sighed, "Let me think about it carefully, that incident has been in the past for a long time."

"Ten years ago in the autumn, a frail young woman sent you to the Wu Orphanage." Dean Feynman took a sip of water and sorted out the memory in his mind. "I saw that she was weak.

It was amazing, so I helped her into the house and poured her a glass of water."

"After that, after that..." Dean Feynman frowned tightly, "It's strange, I can't remember it."

She immediately picked up the file bags stacked on the table and said, "Let me look for it. Every child who enters the orphanage has a file that records the reasons why they became orphans."

"It's no longer here. Could it be that I put it in the cabinet?" Dean Feynman said to himself.

Joel took a sip of water to suppress his restless heart.

"Why can't I find it?" Dean Feynman moved all the files out of the cabinet. Joel saw that she was struggling, so he quickly stepped forward to help.

"You can also help me find the files of children who were admitted to the hospital 10 years ago." Dean Feynman glanced at the file bag in his hand and put it down, picking up another one. "It should be from 1981."

1981, 1981... Joel carefully flipped through every file in his hand. The name of the child and the year of admission were clearly written on the file. However, no matter how they searched, they could not find Joel's file.

file.

"Hiss..." Dean Feynman shook his head, "Did I accidentally lose it? It shouldn't be..."

She stood up tremblingly, "I'll call the Social Security Advisory Committee. They should have your information."

Dean Feynman dialed the phone and took out a pen to write down in his notebook.

Not long after, she hung up the phone and handed the notebook to Joel, "They said your parents died in a car accident. You survived by chance and the government sent you to the Wu Orphanage."

"I may have forgotten it before. I'm really sorry." Dean Feynman smiled sheepishly, "I'm really confused, but I won't be busy for much longer. This orphanage is about to come to an end."

"What do you mean?" Joel frowned.

"A real estate company took a fancy to this land. They paid a high price and said they were going to build some office buildings." With Joel's help, Dean Feynman put the files back to their original places. "Now society is developing more and more.

It's getting better, and the number of children in need of orphanages has decreased a lot, so the government is taking this opportunity to ban Wu's Orphanage."

After finishing the arrangement, Dean Feynman sat on the chair and breathed heavily. She was too old. If the orphanage hadn't found a suitable manager, she would have retired long ago.

"Many of your children have already gone to boarding schools, and I don't have much work now. I will finish the work in the orphanage in two years, and then I can go home and spend my remaining years in peace," Dean Feynman said with a smile on his face.

Smile, "I miss the wheat fields in my hometown of Wiltshire. Every harvest season, I can smell the aroma of malt when I stay in the house."

"London is too prosperous, so prosperous that people can't breathe," she shook her head, "I'm fed up with this place."

"By the way, I have tidied up your room. Do you want to come and take a look?"

Joel seemed to be moved by Dean Feynman's words. He followed the old man to the room next to the Dean's office. It was similar in size and layout to the room in the Leaky Cauldron, except for an extra desk.

"Your former roommate, McCann, has gone to college. It's probably hard for you to see him again in the future, so I moved his bed away."

"It just so happens that we can have a chat after dinner in the evening," Dean Feynman said with bright eyes. "The brats here are all very naughty. They are not as mature and steady as you were when you were a child. I can't talk to them.

Come together."

Joel looked into Dean Feynman's eyes and nodded in agreement.

He originally didn't want to stay in the orphanage, but when he came here today to ask why he became an orphan, he got two different answers.

Did Dean Feynman really forget about it? Joel didn't believe it. Many children in orphanages were abandoned or their parents died in accidents, and few parents took the initiative to send their children to orphanages.

Dean Feynman must have been deeply impressed by the occurrence of such a rare event. How could he forget it?

He always felt something was wrong. He left the orphanage and went to the Leaky Cauldron to take his luggage and the owl back. He kept thinking about this problem on the way there and back.

A lot of things happened 10 years ago in 1981. The one that impressed Joel the most was the boy-who-lived Harry Potter. Because of the blood magic set by his mother Lily, Voldemort did not succeed in killing him, but the killing curse instead

Backfire on itself.

So will the parents of the original owner of the body have anything to do with Voldemort and the Order of the Phoenix? Maybe they are not ordinary Muggles, but wizards with considerable magical power?

Joel felt that the life experience of the original owner of the body was shrouded in a layer of mystery, making it difficult for him to figure it out.

He wanted to take advantage of this holiday to find out the issue of his life experience and relieve his worries.

"Is this an owl?" In the office of the director of Wu's Orphanage, Director Feynman looked curiously at Bobby, who was sleeping in a cage.

"...Yes, the school teacher gave one to each student and asked us to try to feed them."

"Your school is really good. The woman in green robe who came to pick you up before looks like what a good teacher should be." Dean Feynman muttered, and Joel understood that she was talking about Professor McGonagall.

There are not many orphans in the Wu's Orphanage, and together with Joel and Dean Feynman, there are only seven of them, including the two boys that Joel saw in the corridor.

The funds allocated by the government to the orphanage and the orphans are quite sufficient. At least the food quality is not much worse than that of Hogwarts. There is also a meal of milk biscuits in the evening to help them grow.

Joel chatted with Dean Feynman until lights out before going back. The old man seemed to have been unable to find the right person to talk to for a long time. She wished she could tell Joel everything she had seen and heard in the past year, even her own

Her son, who works at the London Stock Exchange but has not been seen for a year and a half, also became the target of her complaints.

Joel listened silently most of the time. He knew that the old man had been suppressed for a long time. There was only one real adult in this orphanage, Dean Feynman. Normally, she could not find any way to express her feelings. She could only

Do your job quietly.

From a certain perspective, she is as lonely as the children in Wu's Orphanage.
