075: Quidditch Trials and Defence Against the Dark Arts at the beginning of the semester

Only when he got closer did he realize that it was a Rubik's Cube. As the two fingers turned, the clicking sound of the mechanism could be heard.

"Is this what you brought back from the Muggle world?" Joel asked as he packed up the toiletries and prepared to enter the bathroom.

"I brought more than that," Eddie opened the suitcase on the floor, revealing dozens of Rubik's Cubes inside. "I'm also planning to sell them to those guys who have never touched Rubik's Cubes."

"Sold all these Rubik's Cubes, and another gold galleons profit was made!" Eddie did not even raise his head, and moved quickly with his hands to complete the solution of the Rubik's Cube. It was obvious that he had practiced hard.

"Those Slytherin fools can't stop me from getting rich now!" Eddie still remembered the Slytherin people in the first grade who counterfeited poker cards to ruin their business, and he sounded quite proud.

"But..." Joel pondered for two seconds, "Have you forgotten that there are many Muggle students in Hogwarts?"

"If the business of selling Rubik's Cubes is feasible, they can ask relatives in the Muggle world to buy Rubik's Cubes and send them here to sell," Joel explained to Eddie. "Unless the price you sell for is not much higher than the purchase price, there must be someone coveting it.

Your business.”

"You can't understand such a simple question?" Joel was a little surprised.

In exchange for a sneer from Eddie, "Oh, I'm a pig? I didn't think those classmates would do this?"

He took out an agreement from the Rubik's Cube pile, "I'm not idle this summer. I asked my father to take me to the Ministry of Magic to discuss with the secretary in the minister's office."

"The complete solution to the CLBT magic course has helped the Ministry of Magic earn tens of thousands of gold galleons. They now trust us very much," Eddie unfolded the agreement to show Joel and Alan. "I can do a small thing like selling Rubik's cubes easily.

I gained their protection."

"My Rubik's Cube in Hogwarts can get tax exemption and Ministry of Magic certification labels. It looks very formal from the outside."

"What share do they want?" Joel asked.

"Half." Eddie gestured.

Joel secretly laughed in his heart. The Ministry of Magic was so smart in its calculations. It took half of the revenue from the Rubik's Cube, which was much more than the tax money.

Early the next morning, they received the class schedule for this school year while having breakfast.

"Oh my God, the first class today is Defense Against the Dark Arts!" Eddie exclaimed in disappointment the moment he saw the class schedule.

He looked at Quirrell who was chatting submissively with Professor McGonagall at the teacher's table, "I can even think of the tragedy of his first class."

This is indeed the case. Quirrell didn't know what went wrong today. He smelled of garlic during class, and the smell of garlic filled every corner of the classroom.

No one could stand this kind of biological weapon. Everyone chose to sit in the back row of the classroom, far away from Quirrell, and watched coldly as he stood on the stage and stuttered while reading from the textbook.

The class was lackluster, with nothing to describe at all. All Quirrell did was a brief self-introduction and a long paragraph of what he said from the script.

"There is a huge gap between him and Professor White," even Allen, who has always been kind and doesn't like to speak ill of others, said after the class. "He doesn't seem to understand how to impart knowledge to everyone."

Allen's words represent the thoughts of most students at Hogwarts. No one now thinks that Quirrell is more suitable for the position of Defense Against the Dark Arts professor than Professor White.

Everyone misses Professor White's heroic appearance in fighting dark magical creatures up close.

After Sergey took leave of absence, Joel began to shine in various subjects. With his outstanding appearance and good magic level, plus a third-level medal of the Order of Merlin, Joel was famous among the second-year students.

Of course, in terms of popularity, he is not on the same level as the boy-who-lived Harry Potter. In the first week of school, Harry became the talk of every student after dinner. Even if he ate bread this morning without wiping the egg yolk.

The sauce has become news.

Life after school started was peaceful and fulfilling, but Eddie was much busier.

On the one hand, he has to use his spare time to sell the Rubik's Cube, and on the other hand, he has to practice his flying skills in preparation for the upcoming Quidditch team selection.

The Rubik's Cube has become a craze among Hogwarts students. Thanks to the certification and protection of the Ministry of Magic, other students voluntarily gave up the market competition knowing that there was no possibility of grabbing business. Eddie also sold out in just one week.

I made dozens of Rubik's Cubes and earned a small amount of pocket money.

The Ravenclaw Quidditch House Trials were scheduled for the Monday of the second week. Early that morning, Eddie looked listless and out of energy. He picked up pieces of bread on the table and stuffed them into his mouth, staring straight at the long head.

Haylis, who was across the table, had a dull look in her eyes, and she didn't know where her mind was going.

Alan thoughtfully helped him spread strawberry jam on the slices of bread, and brought him two portions of bacon and sausage.

"Eat more, and you will have more strength when you fly."

Eddie sighed, "I don't know if I can succeed..."

"You can definitely do it," Alan patted Eddie on the shoulder to encourage him. "Our college's Quidditch level is obvious to all, so you can definitely do it."

"Oli!" He roared in a low voice, his delicate features were all squeezed together, and Joel's eyebrows twitched.

"What?" Haylis didn't know what to say, "What is it for Ollie?"

Joel was afraid that Allen would teach Haylis a bad lesson, so he quickly interrupted Allen's intention to explain, "Qiu will also participate in the selection today?"

Qiu, who was sitting next to Hailis, had already put on a full set of protective gear. She took a sip of juice, her fingers holding the glass were trembling, and she was obviously very nervous.

The selection started on time at nine o'clock. Joel, Ellen, Marietta and Haylis sat in the stands of the Quidditch field, watching the performance of everyone on the field.

Eddie said he was nervous, but when it came time for him to take the test flight, he was the best performer among all the students who participated in the selection. The Nimbus 2000 in his hand formed a crushing situation against all the seven stars.

Qiu Zhangfei's is also good, smooth and satisfactory. From Joel's immature perspective, there is still a certain distance between Charlie and Roger Davis.

The previous Quidditch captain had graduated, and the current captain Roger Davis read out the shortlist after all the students' trials. He himself transformed into a Chaser - just like Eddie, Qiu replaced his previous Quidditch captain.

Player position.

"Everyone," at the end of the selection, Roger left the selected players to encourage him, "Everyone knows that our results last year were very poor, which even dragged down our score in the Academy Cup. I don't want to make the same mistake again this year. We may

We can't defeat the powerful Slytherin and Gryffindor, but we must lose bloody! We must not let them look down on us!"

"Even if they beat Ravenclaw, we have to bite off a piece of meat from him to let him understand that we Ravenclaws are not useless at Quidditch!"
