72. Instant kill!

The complexity of the underground passage far exceeded Sauron's expectations.

Looking at the Y-shaped fork in front of him again, Zoro has never been as disgusted as he is now.

He was really disgusted by these aliens who loved to dig holes randomly.

The maze-like underground passage made the four of them wander around like headless flies.

There are still many dead ends in it that mislead Sauron's judgment and delay the progress of the group.

Fortunately, "Lady Luck" did not abandon him.

Although there were constant stumblings along the way, it did not deviate from the general direction.

In the dark passage.

Ike looked at the familiar marks on the wall, his face looked a little solemn.

"Lord Zoro!" The silence was broken by Ike.

"Um?"

"Lord Zoro, we seem to be spinning in circles!"

Ike used the torch in his hand to illuminate the mark on the wall.

It turns out that at some point, the four of them unknowingly entered an infinite loop of passages.

Although there are other road options along the way, you will eventually return to this circular passage.

From a God's perspective, the group of people kept going around in this big circle.

No matter which path you choose, you will eventually return to this passage.

And among these many choices, only one path is correct.

"In order to save time when I go back, I carved marks on the walls of each passage."

"If the path we take is different from the one we took at the beginning, theoretically we will only encounter these markings when we return to the original path."

Zoro was silent.

In fact, after walking around for a few times, he felt something was wrong.

It was just the blind spot of his thinking that restricted Sauron from thinking in that direction at all.

If Ike hadn't been more thoughtful, the four of them would have been wandering around there for a long time.

"Look at the other passages to see if there are any marks."

"Lord Zoro, there is none here!"

"Lord Sauron, there is a mark here."

Two of the three passages are engraved.

This shows that the group has passed here at least twice.

Zoro's eyes looked a little gloomy.

Human beings who claim to be smart are actually being played by a group of creatures with "low IQ".

If an alien appeared in front of him now.

Sauron really couldn't guarantee that he would do anything cruel to them.

"In that case, then I will take the unmarked road."

"Every road needs to be well marked next."

"Although the method is more complicated, it is also the only way at present." Sauron said to the three of them.

Just as a few people walked towards the untraveled passage, the deacon who was hanging far behind the four people became a little restless.

It seemed that the place Sauron and his party entered made them feel uneasy.

After a roaring exchange, they finally chose to continue following.

As the wrong channels are eliminated one by one.

The group of people were surprised to find that the abnormal secretions that were originally sparsely attached to the wall began to suddenly increase in volume.

This made the four people feel excited instantly.

At the same time, the deacon hanging behind the group became more and more restless.

When the four of them stopped in the middle of the Y-shaped intersection again.

The three deacons who were following him all the way could no longer bear it, and they were like cold assassins quickly shuttling through the dark passage.

As the deacon let go of the pace restrictions and started running freely.

Zoro, who was walking at the front, suddenly stopped.

"Lord Zoro?"

"Shh!"

Zoro motioned to the three of them to stay quiet.

Ike, Pedro and Seth were so nervous that they didn't even dare to take a breath.

The scene fell into an eerie silence for a moment.

A flash of fluorescence appeared in Sauron's ears.

The inaudible "rustling" sound reached his ears very clearly.

"Something is coming, prepare to fight." Zoro faced the way he came and warned the three of them in a deep voice.

Clang!

The three of them from Ike responded and drew out the long swords at their waists, looking warily in the direction Sauron was looking.

Looking at the dark passage, Sauron firmly inserted the torch in his hand into the wall.

Like a cat in the dark night, its pupils emit a faint light.

In his field of vision, the originally dark passage began to look different.

The dark passage is like faded clothes, turning a little gray.

In just a few seconds, three vague figures appeared in Sauron's eyes.

They climbed upside down at the top of the passage and rushed towards Sauron at extremely fast speeds.

The first time he saw his enemy, Zoro's body tensed up.

In the eyes of Ike and the others, he is like a truly fearless warrior, facing the coming danger.

Unlike the warrior aliens, the Deacon, as the elite of the alien race, not only has wisdom second only to the Queen.

Even the military force is not inferior to that of warriors.

They seemed to know Sauron's power and did not choose to entangle with him too much.

One compatriot was left to hold Sauron's energy, while the other two crossed Sauron and pounced on the three people behind Sauron.

Although they had tried their best to overestimate Sauron's strength, they still somewhat underestimated it.

Demon warriors with magical powers are simply incomparable to ordinary humans.

Even if Sauron is just a newbie.

But there is still a huge gap between the two.

Facing the flying butler, Sauron was fearless.

One movement and one silence.

The scene between the two at this moment seemed very strange.

Just before the butler was about to pounce on Sauron.

Magic power spurted out from his lungs, extending to cover his whole body in just a thousandth of a second.

Time became slow in Sauron's eyes.

Those dull, dead fish eyes became as sharp as a knife's edge at some point.

Then he stepped forward lightly with his right foot.

A flash of orange-red light flashed in the passage.

Draw your sword and chop!

The already dry channel becomes even hotter and drier.

A pungent white smoke mixed with a burning smell lingered around Zoro.

The deacon who passed by Sauron turned his head and roared at him in mockery.

But when it wants to take further action.

The neck, which was wrapped in a chitin exoskeleton carapace, was broken into two pieces on the spot.

A large amount of light yellow strong acid blood spurted out from the smooth sword edge like a fountain.

The chitinous exoskeleton carapace that Deacon was proud of was unable to stop the charged Flame Shadow Long Sword.

This sword-drawing move is a skill Zoro gained from the experience passed back from his clone.

It is a very practical basic sword skill.

It's really useful for static braking.

Zoro has always wanted to try it, but he could never find a chance.

But I didn't expect that I would have the opportunity to use it in this deep underground passage.

After dealing with the butler, Zoro turned around and looked at the group of people fighting, with no intention of rushing to help.

He wanted to know more about the situation of the three people.

Unlike Sauron, the three of them were just ordinary people. They couldn't react in time when faced with the butler who was flying towards them at extremely fast speeds.

When they wanted to slash with their swords, their movements were already a beat too slow.

He was only halfway through the slashing motion when the deacon was already on top of him.

With two strong hind legs, he kicked the ground hard.

Ike and Pedro were thrown to the ground by the deacon.

Seeing this, Seth quickly swung his sword and slashed at the deacon who was lying on Pedro.

Unfortunately, the moment the fine-forged sword was raised high and swung down, the deacon jumped to the side and avoided it.

Seth never thought that his attack at such a close range would fail.

So much so that he couldn't take back the long sword in his hand in time, which exerted 100% of its strength.

The finely forged sword struck directly at Pedro's armor.

Under the firelight, one or two metal sparks spattered.

Boom~!
