Chapter 23 The Murderer

There was no response, so I had to continue struggling wildly. It was not that I didn't have other ghost-killing tricks in my mind, but the space was too small and I was passive, with no time or space to use them.

"Work, work, work..."

I felt desperate and had no energy to scold it. Suddenly I saw a ball of white paper on its body.

Because the white paper appeared in its body so suddenly, I stretched out my hand to grab it. It seemed to be going crazy, its countless fingers were poking faster, and the body wrapped around me was getting closer and closer, making it almost impossible for me to breathe.

I gritted my teeth, hammered wildly with my hands, and hit the pipe several times. It hurt so much that tears came out of my eyes.

Gradually, I felt like I was going to die, my consciousness became blurred, and scenes flashed before my eyes, just like I had experienced it.

A strong sense of sadness came to my heart. I opened my eyes in shock and found that there was a dim sunset in front of me. Besides me, there were three other people standing in the room. The two of them looked happy and shook hands with Li Kun. I followed suit.

Then he came to the desk and signed the patent transfer contract.

Li Kun smiled throughout the whole process, not at all the decadent look I had seen before.

The scene suddenly changed, my eyes were looking at the ceiling, unable to move, my head was being fiddled with, my eyes slowly moved down, and I was suddenly stunned.

The two young men I saw before had their eyes widened, their mouths slightly opened, and they died.

I thought, I must be dead too, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to move and I wouldn’t be able to move.

Li Kun's figure appeared. In this small office, he put on gloves, put away the water glasses, and put them into a black handbag. He took his time and took out a small black bottle from his pocket and pointed it at

Deng glanced at it, and a ferocious smile suddenly appeared on his face.

I took a deep breath, and my chest felt like it had been hit by a car. The surrounding area was dark and dim. I quickly used my hands to explore and found that it was inside a pipe.

The three-headed ghost has disappeared, but my heart has become heavier.

The phone in my pocket was vibrating. I endured the pain and pulled it out. It was Li Ruoran calling.

"Did you escape?"

I hesitated for a moment and then said yes.

I slowly crawled out of the pipe. Although there were no obvious scars, the pain was everywhere. My feet finally hooked on the platform. Just as I was about to get down, I noticed that the beeping sound was gone.

Suddenly, a huge force hit my waist. My whole body fell from the vent and hit the ground. I felt dizzy and almost fainted.

Fortunately, my head didn't hit anything hard. I was about to turn over when I saw a pair of feet in my peripheral vision.

"roll!"

I yelled, kicked my foot hard, and landed on the ground. It was a human!

Bang, I heard the sound of a wooden stick hitting the ground, and I quickly got up. Without looking at who the figure was, I hugged him and pressed him to the ground.

The scream sounded, and it was Li Kun's voice!

A punch suddenly hit my head. My survival instinct prevented me from passing out. I moved my hands along his shoulders and grabbed his neck, squeezing him tightly.

A hoarse shout rang in my ears, and I couldn't see his expression in the darkness. All I knew was that I wanted to strangle him to death.

Suddenly, I let go of my hand, thinking that this might be the will imposed on me by the three-headed ghost. If I kill someone, I will go to jail regardless of whether I am right or wrong!

The man beneath me coughed violently, and I took a deep breath and pressed his arms. Thinking of the memory of the ghost I had just seen, I felt angry for no reason.

You thief, you not only killed three young men, but now you want to kill me, so you can taste grandpa's iron fist!

He was beaten wildly until he was beaten to the ground and his breathing was weak before he stopped.

He rummaged around the office, found some ropes, and tied him to a chair.

The company has already called. Looking at Li Kun who was bruised and swollen by me under the light, I felt very happy. But after thinking about it, I gave up.

Three young men died and he was not arrested, which means that all the evidence has been destroyed by him. If I call the police, he will definitely deny it and there is no evidence. When the time comes, he will bite me back and accuse me of assault and kidnapping. Then I will be unjust.

Big!

After thinking about it, my mind got a little biased. Should I pretend to be a ghost and scare him into telling the truth personally?

After a while, I rejected the idea. There were not enough props and manpower for him to do it himself.

In desperation, I still chose to call the police. At least he secretly beat me as a sap, which I can understand. As for why he beat me so hard... I just said that I thought he was a ghost.

Anyway, there have been rumors about ghosts in the office for more than a day or two.

At one o'clock in the morning, I patted Li Kun awake and he stared at me intently.

I pulled him to the computer and opened the seven completed reports for him to read one by one.

"How about it? Is it okay? You did a good job."

After reading the report, I looked at him and he looked at me.

After a long while, he uttered one sentence: "Are you sick?"

My backhand is just a slap. Is it wrong to work hard?

After finishing the work, I felt relaxed and put my feet up on the table, waiting for the police to arrive.

He looked at me for a long time and suddenly said: "Hey, newcomer, I didn't mean to hit you, please forgive me."

I pretended not to hear, and he said, "Come on, they're not all here to fool around. I'll give you one million, and you can call the police to go back."

One million, my little heart skipped a beat, but justice cannot defeat evil! In fact, I thought that since he had killed me, he must have found out that I knew about it, otherwise he wouldn't have done it in the middle of the night just for me, a newcomer.

Come to the company and give me a sap.

As for how he knew, I really can't figure it out. However, in Xuerou's memory, I once heard an exorcist who was a monk talking about a scheme in which some people cooperated with ghosts to make money and kill people.

It didn't take long for the police to arrive. When they found it was me again, they couldn't help but look me up and down in surprise.

What can I do? I am helpless. Who let bad luck always find me?

After recording a confession at the police station and conducting a simple injury assessment, they took Li Kun into custody. No matter how hard he refused to admit it, the injuries on my body did not come out of thin air. What’s more, I was the one who arrested him and he was so confident.

With a sincere face, the police comrades are more willing to believe me.

Before going out, a police comrade named Xia Qin patted me on the shoulder and said, "Boy, go back and find a Feng Shui master to look at it and find out the problem."

I was speechless, but I nodded and said thank you to him.

It was already three o'clock in the morning when I got home. The landlord was leaning against the wall, like an old Spider-Man. From a distance, it looked weird.

But there is nothing I can do. Now he is still in a state of chaos and will only repeat the things he often did in life. Ghost exorcists call this phenomenon: the spirit binding period. Some ghosts who are not smart may be in this state.

More than ten years.

Opening the broken door, fortunately, there were no signs of being tampered with by the thief.

After washing, I lay on the bed. I felt sleepy and my consciousness was blurring. Xuerou's figure appeared in front of me, swaying, making me feel like I was on a boat, and a feeling of nausea came into my heart.
