Chapter 63 The Heir

The huge linen flag flutters in the night wind, and images of wild beasts are intertwined on it, making it lifelike, unrestrained and weird.

An army of nearly a thousand people marched between the mountains. They held torches and wore animal skins, like a group of wild warriors who came from the ancient land.

The strongest warriors walked at the front of the team. They wore simple and worn-out armor. Although the handles of their weapons were rusty, their blades still shone brightly.

The leading man walking at the front was in his prime, with light yellow curly hair hanging loosely on his shoulders. A long scar extended from the corner of his right eye to the base of his ear. The outline of the Watch Castle was reflected in his eyeballs, and his pupils narrowed like a wild beast locking its prey.

He walked around in a circle. Using a slightly unfamiliar common language, he said to the person behind him: "The suspension bridge has not been lowered."

A woman wearing a tight-fitting grass-green dress, her head hidden under a round cloak, her voice sounded as melodious and sweet as a jumping pearl: "Don't you warriors in the north have a proverb, 'If the road under your feet walks,

If you are too comfortable, sooner or later your courage will dissipate like melting snow."

The man stopped and looked at the woman with an even colder look: "For the sake of my people, I would rather not be a warrior."

The latter froze for a moment, then lowered his head and said with a smile: "Don't worry, the suspension bridge will fall down."

Seeing the leader walking further and further away, the woman looked towards the fortress in the distance and whispered: "These unreliable guys from the 'Relief Society'..."

The cold wind in the mountains blew the woman's cloak, and the tight-fitting long dress highlighted her gracefulness. She tightened her clothes, took another look at the Watch Castle, and then disappeared into the night.

The big sword fell from the air, sawdust flew everywhere, Alfonso kicked hard, and the wooden door of the winch room fell into pieces.

A team of four people rushed into the dark room. In the darkness, a large and twisted figure used a giant broadaxe about one and a half meters long to chop the third chain winch.

"Leslie!"

The knight shouted the name of his companion loudly, raised his sword with both hands, and rushed towards the black shadow.

The boy with the red mark on his forehead made his hands into palms, stood facing each other, then put them together, and started rubbing them back and forth.

After a moment, the change in the opponent's palm made Todd's eyes widen.

The originally normal-skinned palms gradually turned red, and finally, like a furnace, a bright, blazing flame rose up.

Leslie then took out a metal slingshot made of strange material from his waist, pressed the mechanism hidden in his clothes with his elbow, and a ball the size of a copper star fell into his hand. He held the ball with his right hand.

After a while, he put the burning ball into the slingshot, fully pulled the bowstring, and first aimed at the torch stained with kerosene on the wall.

As the bowstring was released, the burning ball drew a trail of flames in the air and hit the wall near the torch. Sparks exploded all over the sky, igniting the torch.

As sparks splashed and torches were lit, the room gradually became a little brighter, and the four people could see clearly the culprit who destroyed the winch.

Alfonso, who was charging, stopped and raised his head in disbelief.

Leslie put down the slingshot, Karin covered her mouth, and Todd looked like he had seen a ghost, muttering to himself: "It's a lie, what on earth is this?!"

The human being in front of me, no, this cannot be called a human being at all.

This creature is more like a Frankenstein made up of various limbs.

His lower body is covered with thick hair, and his knees are turned over, like the "Goat Demon" in the Bible; his body is made up of countless pieces of meat of different colors and shapes; his arms are one big and one big.

The muscles of the small one and the big one are swollen, as if they come from a warrior. The muscles of the small one are swollen.

It was as thin as a hemp stick and should have been taken from a child. If the above were not weird enough, his head was simply a nightmare. A burnt black dead head was embedded in the body, with a white bone.

The spine and a bunch of thick tubes serve as the connecting bridge between the two.

Leslie swallowed and said with difficulty: "I swear, this is definitely not a 'honeycomb'! No! This is definitely not just a 'honeycomb'!"

The monster ignored the four people who broke in, raised the ax with its thick arms, and struck at the winch again.

Alfonso woke up from the shock, raised his two-handed sword, and slashed at the monster's back.

As if there were eyes behind it, the monster's legs jumped sideways to avoid the blow. The ax in its hand turned around and hit the sword's edge without any bias.

A loud sound of cracking gold and gravel echoed in the room.

Alfonso was knocked backwards by a brutal force and had to roll on the ground several times before the momentum of his retreat was lost.

"This is the power of 'perception'! In addition to 'Hive', this guy also has a second alien skill!" Leslie took out another small ball from his arms, lit it with flames, and shot it at the monster.

The arm holding the ax shouted loudly: "Boss! Be careful, this guy does not rely on his eyesight and hearing to identify things!"

The monster turned around, raised the ax and dropped it, and the sound of metal breaking reached everyone's ears.

The third chain broke, leaving only the last winch!

The burning ball also hit the monster's back. However, the expected explosion and sparks did not appear. The small ball hitting the skin seemed to have fallen on a trampoline, sinking seven or eight times into the skin.

centimeters, and then bounced to the ground.

Leslie was completely stunned at this time. The boy took a deep breath and said tremblingly: "This... this is the ability of the 'jelly' alien species... plus the first two, this is the third type...

Boss, is this person we met...?"

The knight got up from the ground, as if facing a formidable enemy, his eyes were more serious and serious than ever before, and he slowly said: "Ah, yes, I didn't expect to meet the successor of the "Sutherland Relic" here.

.”

Hearing a familiar term, Todd was shocked and couldn't help but look at the monster a few more times. He secretly thought to himself, how could a guy with Sutherland bacteria in his body become like this?

The monster that was attacked also turned its back, slowly walked into the firelight, and took a frontal look at everyone for the first time.

Through the flickering light, Alfonso looked at the monster's charred human head, and a familiar symbol jumped into his field of vision.

"Sun V"

He suddenly remembered something and whispered in his mouth: "'Sun' mutant? Level 5? Are you Marcus Bourne?"

The monster stopped and seemed to be recalling something while "observing" the Iron Mask Knight in front of him. After a moment, he suddenly raised the ax in his hand and launched a frantic attack on Alfonso.

The sword knight immediately understood that the other party must have recognized him.
